We stayed as a family of four with two adjoining superior rooms and are grateful we did as they were nicely decorated inside and kept clean. The outside and main building etc is very tired and really could do with some money spent on it. The outdoor pool area was very nice and pretty quiet. The reception and bar staff were very helpful and Amber was really lovely on our arrival and whenever we had questions. We rented the electric bikes which were reasonably priced and the hotel is right next to the cycle path so very accessible. We had a great afternoon out on the bikes. The restaurant food, choice and service was extremely disappointing. We arrived in the evening of our first night looking forward to a lovely meal and relaxing and it was dreadful. Staff were just hovering around but not really helping. We didn’t go there again and felt we’d wasted money on it. There are no snacks, not even crisps etc available from reception. Overall the hotel is fine but in our opinion it’s overpriced for what it offers, the quality of the restaurant/service. It feels like it needs some money and love and there were some really missed opportunities by the hotel management. We moved from this hotel to another one in Evians les Bains after staying here and it cost us less money but was far superior in every aspect which also highlighted to us how this hotel seemed overpriced for what it offers.
