Nice hotel near the city center. The room and amenities were adequate and the staff accommodating. Only drawback is that the hotel is not quite as convenient to the shops and eateries as some other hotels. If you are looking for a quieter area of the city center, this hotel will do great. If you want to be right in the center of the action with the best activities and views of the ocean, stay on the northern side of Alesund city center. Overall, this was a solid hotel for the money.

The hotel is nice, with clean and well furnished rooms. Staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is very good. Sometime the breakfast room feels busy. There is a paid car park next to the hotel, monitored by extremely quick wardens. There is covered car park at the back of the hotel. The view on the harbour is nice, but tend to be covered by cruise ships between 4am and 4pm. The landing point for cruise ships is just outside the hotel, so there is quite a lot of traffic in the morning because of the deboaring passengers coming for a day visit to Alesund

Excellent location, located in the old town, just 5 mins walk from the center, where all the restaurants and bars are. Great views from the hotel of the water. The town is a small quaint old town with beautiful buildings and nice places to shop, eat and drink. The breakfast was elaborate and great !!
