Nice larger hotel. Parking is a challenge in Ålesund. We were fortunate to find a spot in lot next to hotel (needed to install app and pay (about $26/day) Good location and many good food options in area.

Vi hadde et veldig fint opphold på dette hotellet. Grunnen til at det får midt på score er at deler av hotellet virker eldre. Kan feks ikke huske sist vi bodde på et hotell med H-vinduer?! Som endatil kunne åpnes helt opp. Rommet virket ikke helt nytt ellers heller og ikke korridorer heller. Men. Uteområdet mot sjøen og frokost/restaurantområdet var utrolig fint. Nydelig frokost. Nærmest umulig å finne parkering nær hotellet så vi kjørte t/r Ålesund uten å lade bilen der. Så ikke sats på å lade i nærheten el parkere i næheten.

Flott hotell med helt fantastisk beliggenhet. Personalet var veldig serviceinnstilte og hyggelige. Deres vestvendte uteplass var helt fantasisk. Der kunne man nyte både god mat og god drikke i solnedgangen.

QHÅ har et høflig og trivelig personale, men jeg liker ikke at det er tomt for såpe både i dusj og ved vask når jeg har sjekket inn. Ei heller er det bra med svarte lange hår i sengetøyet. Sistnevnte er nok bare et uhell, men likevel. Jeg har bodd en god del her, men rommet jeg fikk denne gangen, er "oppbrukt". Frokost er som vanlig helt ok, litt over middels, og hotellets belligenhet er suverent. Greit å parkere, greit å gå i byen, og suveren utsikt mot havet for de som bestiller havutsikt. Herlig respepsjonsområde, med mange gode steder å jobbe med pc'en

Møkket bad og søppel bak en dør. Fikk ikke tilbudt annet rom. Renholder prøvde å fikse badet uten hel. Bør nok finne seg en anden jobb. Rommet var klargjort for en gjest og ikke to som var bestilt. Frokosten ble forstyrret av det ble støvsuget. Frokosten var ellers god. Kunne ha hvert fint med te krus. Kvelds resepsjonisten var hyggelig, imøtekomme og løsningsorientert.

Bestilte med badekar og sjøutsikt. Fikk ingen av delene. Mye bråk av hurtigrute rett utenfor rommet på natt. Elendig utvalg i baren. Gratis kaffe var vanskelig å finne. Hele badet ble vått når en dusjet. Såpen i dusjen var tom. Ingen balsam. Hyggelige betjening i resepsjonen. Dårlig utvalg av glutenfritt. Påkegget så ut som det var dumpet på fatene. Alt for mye kaker og kaffemat til frokosten. Litt lite utvalg generelt.

We stayed at the hotel for one night. The hotel is in a very convenient location, restaurants, cafes, souvenirs - everything is nearby. Since it was very hot, the room was stuffy and there was no air conditioning. The breakfast was modest, but everything you need was there.

Check in and check out were a bit problematic During check in we were assured that a room would be ready soon. We waited almost an hour and finally had to ask again and were told the room had been ready except no one told us At check out, the clerk failed to bill us for a meal and we wound up having to pay by credit card while we were elsewhere. A bit of confusion during the communications between us. Ultimately resolved. The hotel itself is great and we ahd a very plesant three day stay

Our reserved room was moved for a wedding party. Our new room had a view of the roof, which echoed when the cigarette smokers partied and yelled when on the cell phone. We were told that the wedding party was Only in one wing of the hotel, which was not true because we saw them two rooms down from us. I do not know if our reserved room also had a poor view. We did not ask. In our room was a case box for a mini fridge but it was missing or stolen or otherwise not present. Trash was on the roof. In the WC was some red on the ceiling which is consistent with intravenous drug use. We left it alone. We decided to leave early due to all of these issues. Additionally, our room had supplies to make coffee and tea, but no spoons were provided. I suppose that hardy Norwegians stir their hot beverages with their finger.

Frokost den første dag var elendig. Det manglet mye (kokte egg, steik egg, spekemat, frukt, noe søt….). Lite personell for så stor spisesal. Dag nr.2 var litt bedre. Dumt at hotellet ikke har parkeringsplass. Mye støy fra første etasjen om kvelden (vi overnattet på tredje etasje og hørte DJ som spilte musikken i hallen). Ellers fik vi et lite rom. Med en individuelt lite dyne til 2 personer. Terningkast: 3/6

Nice and friendly staff but hotel seriously need a makeover. Not worth the money.. When I was there they were short of staff in kitchen so unable to serve dinner in restaurant other than some kind of “snack-food”… Standard doesn’t align with the cost of rooms..

Nice and friendly staff but hotel seriously need a makeover. Not worth the money.. When I was there they were short of staff in kitchen so unable to serve dinner in restaurant other than some kind of “snack-food”… Standard doesn’t align with the cost of rooms..

Ålesund har mange tilbud for turister! Minus for hotellet: Det ble opplyst at det kunne bestilles middag fra kl 18.00. - 22.00. Da vi kom kl 20.00 var det ikke mulig å få middag fordi de denne kvelden hadde flere grupper å ta imot. Egon ble selvfølgelig løsningen for oss!

Bra hotell. Trevlig personal. Frukosten lämnade en del att önska, bacon t.ex. Dock var kuddarna riktigt bra på detta hotell, så det gjorde hela vistelsen mycket bra.

The hotel is clean and tidy, renovated and decorated. Excellent breakfast, courteous and helpful staff, located a few minutes' walk from the center. There is one problem, the shower doors do not seal and all the water comes out and floods the bathroom floor.
