The room was fine and bed comfortable. Tthere were no staff to check you in or out. As a hotel I expected a restaurant and bar on site but this area was closed and no breakfast is offered either.

There weren’t enough parking spaces if hotel was fully booked, the town is a short walk, as is the Castle, Hotel room was ok, shower and facilities in the room were fine, would have rated higher, had we not had a fire alarm late in the evening, and there was no on site night porter, which is illegal, it took about 5 minutes for some to come and sort out the alarm, which turned out to be an accident, as someone opened their door to turn the light on, but hit the fire alarm. If they sorted out the Night Porter on site, to make you feel safe, I would return.

There weren’t enough parking spaces if hotel was fully booked, the town is a short walk, as is the Castle, Hotel room was ok, shower and facilities in the room were fine, would have rated higher, had we not had a fire alarm late in the evening, and there was no on site night porter, which is illegal, it took about 5 minutes for some to come and sort out the alarm, which turned out to be an accident, as someone opened their door to turn the light on, but hit the fire alarm. If they sorted out the Night Porter on site, to make you feel safe, I would return.

Our room was huge!!! We had a family room so our little boy had his own space in a separate little room. Our bed was huge and very comfortable. Location was great, everything in walking distance. It’s slightly dated inside but clean, comfortable and room was amazing. Small free car park. No bar/restaurant on site but discount vouchers for a local cafe for breakfast provided.

Positives - clean room, nice decor, comfy bed, bottled water in room, very central. Negative- 1) We had a room next to the traffic lights and was very noisy all night people of Warwick don’t seem to sleep -ask for a room out the back if you’re a light sleeper. 2) Contrary to pictures on the website there is not a bar or a dining option. 3) The towel rail in the bathroom is DANGEROUSLY HOT! I caught my forearm on it and it has left a burn! 4)Hotel website says onsite parking however this is very limited 5/6 spaces. So we had to park across the road at a parade of with a 2 hour slot.

Best thing about the hotel is its location. Close to everything in Warwick. That’s about it though. Room is a reasonable size but no air con meant it was far too hot in the room. Leaving the windows open overnight meant a lot of outside noise as it a on a busy road. No reception from a certain time and nobody there in the morning if you needed anyone. No food options either as there is no breakfast available never mind dinner. Overall it would be poor of it wasn’t for its location.

Hotel was well placed for exploring Warwick. It is really only a B & B Hotel, as no lounge, Bar or meal facilities & no evidence of the Family that are supposed to run it!, a bit uncomfortable that there appears not to be any staff resident in the building at night.

Staff was helpful and acoomodating, location was handy next to a run of restaurants across the street for late dining. Parking was available across the street though the parking in the hotel space was limited. The room was clean and pleasant and the location was perfect for a visit to Warwick Castle, and all round a very pleasant stay!

Room very basic no breakfast ! Light switch up side down , no battery cover on tv remote, had to get out of bed to turn bedside lamp off. The room was covered in ANTS, the bathroom looked fairly new and mostly white so the ants were very noticeable. The white sheets on the bed had ants running across it. I did take photographs of them. I am in a wheelchair and I am just praying that they are not Bedbugs. We were scratching for most of our stay and will not be returning

The window was damaged so the double glazing wouldn't shut, making it noisy as it's on a main road. Our 'executive room' had mould on the bathroom ceiling. Check in was poor, then the shutters on reception were down in the evening and in the morning and we couldn't find any staff. I've emailed them twice since we stayed a month ago and they haven't had the courtesy to even reply. Very poor and shows a complete lack of customer care.

Slight difficulties checking in due to a staff personal emergency but manager Michael sorted everything via phone and was extremely helpful. Room was nice and clean, sheets and towels changed daily and was quiet at night despite room facing main road. Location is ecellent, just a short walk from town, pubs and station. Very enjoyable stay, would recommend.

We ended up leaving and driving home. The room we were allocated was very dirty, grubby with an awful bed. We would never stay here again. I DO NOT KNOW how this place has 9.0 on the Hottels.com web site rating. Staff were lovely and very efficient.

Room was clean and comfortable. Very convenient, close amenities. One negativity…. Room was on ground floor right outside traffic lights on main road , and route to hospital sirens going pass the window what seemed like every 5 minutes.

A very spacious room and bathroom. Comfortable large bed. Nice tea selection. So close to everything. Our room was right beside the main road but double glazed windows ensured this was barely noticed despite heavy and constant traffic. We recommend you stay here, especially if you are coming via train as it is so handy to the station.

Very large room very comfortable bed lovely and warm and clean !!!!! Very handy location for shops subway,Dominoes, Chinese, fish and chips and mini market ,, room serviced every day clean towels etc couldn’t fault anything

Over all it is a wonderful place to stay in the center of Warwick. However, the front door was locked at the time when the reception was supposed to be open, and a phone number was posted. Since I didn't have a phone that works in the UK, I had to ask someone to call the number for me in order to check in.

The toilets do not have running hot water. Not able to have a proper shower in the hotel. The hotel front desk refused to come down to settle the problem even though I called them repeatedly since 6pm. The front desk is NOT present on site.

It was ok although dissapinted the customer desk was only open until 8 pm . Our kettle didn't work and despite there being a helpline they only answered it at 8 am in the morning so missed out on having the kettle in the end

Slight difficulties checking in due to a staff personal emergency but manager Michael sorted everything via phone and was extremely helpful. Room was nice and clean, sheets and towels changed daily and was quiet at night despite room facing main road. Location is ecellent, just a short walk from town, pubs and station. Very enjoyable stay, would recommend.

Stayed here for a couple of days on the way back home. The hotel is in a great location, just on the edge of the town. Managed to get free parking too. The room was spacious & the bed was comfy.

A very spacious room and bathroom. Comfortable large bed. Nice tea selection. So close to everything. Our room was right beside the main road but double glazed windows ensured this was barely noticed despite heavy and constant traffic. We recommend you stay here, especially if you are coming via train as it is so handy to the station.

Staff was helpful and acoomodating, location was handy next to a run of restaurants across the street for late dining. Parking was available across the street though the parking in the hotel space was limited. The room was clean and pleasant and the location was perfect for a visit to Warwick Castle, and all round a very pleasant stay!

The room was fine and bed comfortable. Tthere were no staff to check you in or out. As a hotel I expected a restaurant and bar on site but this area was closed and no breakfast is offered either.

I would like to give this hotel 4.5 Stars. It is an inexpensive hotel in a superb location. Perfect for visitors travelling by rail and walking the town. At the reception is a photo of it c. 1900. From that picture and the layout I would say it is a coaching hotel from the early nineteenth century. It is laid out as a reverse L with a wide arch on the long side through which coaches and horses would pass to what might have been the stables. Just at the arch is the entry to Reception. The rooms are generous but basic and probably always were. Breakfast is good. The couple who run it now are nice, though check-in time is a bit late and it is hard to drop off bags if you arrive ahead of the check-in time. The location is perfect for people arriving by rail - a short distance from the station and easy walking distance to the famous castle and the very interesting historic town centre, including the medieval Lord Leycester Hospital (actually a guild hall) as well as the interesting restaurants on the main streets. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for and I assure you that what you get is well worth the moderate price.

We had a comfortable two-night stay while visiting the Warwick Folk Festival. We arrived at about 6:00 p.m. to find the door locked and had to call a number to get someone to let us in and allocate a room. The reception area was closed at that time. Our room was comfortable, and the bathroom had clearly ad a recent makeover, and was well-appointed, clean and sparkling! We ordered breakfast, and were a little surprised that the full English only came with toast and coffee - the fruit juice and cereals were only for the Continental breakfast. However, the breakfast was fine, and the coffee was good. There is very little parking available at the hotel, but you can park across the road outside the One-Stop and various takeaways for 2 hours during the day from 9 - 5, which suited us, as we were using our car for the rest of the day.

Room very basic no breakfast ! Light switch up side down , no battery cover on tv remote, had to get out of bed to turn bedside lamp off. The room was covered in ANTS, the bathroom looked fairly new and mostly white so the ants were very noticeable. The white sheets on the bed had ants running across it. I did take photographs of them. I am in a wheelchair and I am just praying that they are not Bedbugs. We were scratching for most of our stay and will not be returning

Great hotel and amazing friendly stafd. Perfect location if visiting Warwick Castle. Arrived early at 11:30am and our room was ready and parking available, we couldnt ask for more. We paid extra for breakfast whuch was nice full english

Our room was huge!!! We had a family room so our little boy had his own space in a separate little room. Our bed was huge and very comfortable. Location was great, everything in walking distance. It’s slightly dated inside but clean, comfortable and room was amazing. Small free car park. No bar/restaurant on site but discount vouchers for a local cafe for breakfast provided.

The staff were friendly for the most part, the lady making breakfast was good. The others tended to make you feel like you were imposing on them. The mattresses are extremely cheap/thin and could do with a refresh. The bathroom was only just ok. The bedroom faced out onto a very busy/noisy road with near constant cars. Given the positive prior reviews I was very let down. I won’t be returning.

Positives - clean room, nice decor, comfy bed, bottled water in room, very central. Negative- 1) We had a room next to the traffic lights and was very noisy all night people of Warwick don’t seem to sleep -ask for a room out the back if you’re a light sleeper. 2) Contrary to pictures on the website there is not a bar or a dining option. 3) The towel rail in the bathroom is DANGEROUSLY HOT! I caught my forearm on it and it has left a burn! 4)Hotel website says onsite parking however this is very limited 5/6 spaces. So we had to park across the road at a parade of with a 2 hour slot.

Best thing about the hotel is its location. Close to everything in Warwick. That’s about it though. Room is a reasonable size but no air con meant it was far too hot in the room. Leaving the windows open overnight meant a lot of outside noise as it a on a busy road. No reception from a certain time and nobody there in the morning if you needed anyone. No food options either as there is no breakfast available never mind dinner. Overall it would be poor of it wasn’t for its location.

Hotel was well placed for exploring Warwick. It is really only a B & B Hotel, as no lounge, Bar or meal facilities & no evidence of the Family that are supposed to run it!, a bit uncomfortable that there appears not to be any staff resident in the building at night.

Used the Castle Limes Hotel as a resting place whilst attending the National Bowls event in Leamington. Room and bathroom were clean. Room had a tilt so the bed was at a strange angle, however, didn’t sleep the two nights as it was super hot in the room and constant road noise wasn’t a great combination for a good nights sleep.

The hotel was perfect for our short stay in Warwick.The room was a good size with comfy beds, everything was clean and well maintained. The fridge and the fan were a welcome additionto keep us and our drinks cool. Our interaction with staff was minimal but smooth and helpful. Would definitely consider staying here again if we happen to visit Warwick in the future.

Spacious room but could do with a little TLC, especially in the bathroom. The car park is tight, but I managed to get a space for both days even though I was in a large van. Parking is free across the road from 3pm to 10am. There is a lovely sandwich shop across the road which was useful seeing as no breakfast was available in the hotel. It is in a great location for walking into Warwick and to the castle. Restricted opening on the windows was a problem for ventilation and the fan provided wasn't great. I would definitely stay again though

It was really good stay, staff was very helpful. Bed mattress could have been more comfortable and I think due to nearby road works water turned almost cold so we had to have cold shower otherwise everything was great. I would recommend it.

The Castle Limes is more a rooming house rather than a hotel. The building appears to have been a pub at some point that is undergoing transition into a hotel but is unfinished. There are no dining facilities or bar and reception is only manned nine to five with your room key fitting the outer doorlock for main building access. Car parking is a bonus but limited to seven vehicles. The site information says parking available over the road from five pm to ten pm but fails to state this area is a mini shopping precinct with vehicles coming and going. l cannot comment on other rooms but the room we occupied for three days left much to be desired. The bed was soft from wear though clean and changed daily yet there were no drawers in the wardrobe, dressing table or bedside units The tv remote didnt work and though reported not rectified and the portable air/con unit rattled loudly when on and the weather being blisteringly hot turned out to be a nuisence at night. Coventry road outside the hotel is very busy so road noise can be a problem at night made worse for us by major roadworks in progress while we were their which we were not informed of.
