City Suites - Taipei Nandong

Average clean room, nothing special. Not close enough to shops and amenities. The air-conditioning is not powerful, it won’t drop below 20. On hot Taipei days, this is really insufficient. We called the front desk for pillows that weren’t flat and were told that he couldn’t get us any then but will the next day. We heard nothing more. Three of the four pillows were extremely flat, which means they were either very very old and used, or they were just poor quality pillows. Not up to any hotel standard. Will not stay here again.

Great breakfast buffet with a variety each day as well as some comfort food staples. The staff was efficient and friendly. Not crazy about the design of the bedroom where there is no actual door between the sleeping space and the bathroom space. Not everyone is comfortable with this layout. Only other comment is that the teacups provided are too small to enjoy a full cup of tea. Otherwise, the rest of the amenities are great.

Good internet. Air conditioning was low and didnt work well. Our room was clean but had a stench smell like there was water damage somewhere. Overall it was an ok stay.
