Just completed our (1st) stay at Ocean Club East (06/25). Overall: Solid resort. Would stay again. But 10-20% overpriced. Here's the good: - It's away from town so quieter in terms of traffic & people - Beach is stunning. Paddle boards, kayak, goggles complimentary to use - Shuttles run regularly thru the day; getting to town & back is easy - Cleaning crew does a good job Why overpriced: - Buildings/rooms/furnishings aren't updated. We had a leak in the roof; some outlets didn't work; a lamp was missing its switch, tp holders tearing away from bathrm walls, etc. - Food is expensive! On-site restaurants way overpriced. 2 of us dropped ~$80 for lunch (2 lunch entrees and 1 nonalcoholic drink), and $20-$40 more for dinner, if we threw in an app. - Average hospitality for the price. OCE feels like training ground for hospitality workers who want to go on to better hotel/resort gigs, e.g.: >>When we checked in, there were several things we weren't told that would've been helpful - e.g., that there was a convenience store on site + another restaurant besides Cabana Bay on the property >>When we were on our way to check out, schlepping our suitcases and bags, an employee in a golf cart that we passed could've offered to take us to the lobby but didn't. We were there with our daughter and her family - 3 and 7 year old grands. They loved both pools - the right size for little and bigger kids. The beach and ocean on Grace Bay were perfect for all of our swimming playing needs. It is the most beautiful beach we've ever seen. The location was great for pick up by boats for snorkeling and parasailing. We were on a second floor 2 bedroom suite overlooking the beach and bay. There was a screened in porch which was perfect for keeping bugs out and watching beautiful sunsets. The breeze was so fresh, we rarely turned on the AC. The cleaning staff kept our suite very clean - even with 2 young kids. It was quiet and sleeping was very easy. The check in guys brought all our luggage up to our suite and brought up a single bed for the grand kids. They were very friendly and kind. We ate many meals at the Cabana Bar which had wonderful food for breakfast and lunch, by the pool so we could watch the kids. The convenience store was a quick walk and made it easy to get needed things without having to leave the property. My husband did not like the fitness center because it was in the basement of one building with no windows, but that was the only complaint. At the end of our week, my 7 year old granddaughter said, "Mimi, can we please come back here next year!"

The grounds are beautiful and well kept. The beach is great - lots of chair options but get there early if you want your choice of seats. One restaurant on premises - very expensive, but food is fine. The gym is well stocked with equipment and clean and was conviently located in our building. It is very quiet at night, which we appreciated. I would not say the staff or front desk folks were helpful - we checked in- they pointed to our building - no one showed us anything or helped with luggage- - and we never had an interaction with them again. Daily cleaning is hit or miss- mostly just emptying garbage - sometimes mopping - leaving fresh towels. Very minimal and different every day. I would not call this a 4.5 or 5 resort - but i would stay there again! We had a car and had some fabulous meals on the island and toured the island ourselves. Driving on the left side of the road is challenging! Very laid back vibe on Turks and Caicos - not a lot to do- but we were there to relax and had a great time.

Everything we wanted and expected from our Turks and Caicos vacation. Appreciated all the staff, everyone was welcoming and courteous. Loved our room and the kitchen, and the balcony with the ocean view was perfect for a relaxing breakfast or a drink. The food in the beachfront restaurant was pretty good, we tried the breakfast, lunch and dinner there. Also, the shuttle to the Ocean Club West was very convenient to get to the center.

Breakfasts were great, beach was beautiful, the room was clean and very nice. The staff were all amazing from check-in to restaurant staff, pool/beach staff, and security/shuttle service staff. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, a little further from town at Ocean Club East but so convenient with the hotel shuttle taking you to Ocean Club West!

The Ocean Club was exactly what we needed to relax and enjoy the beautiful Grace Bay beach. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The Cabana bar and grill by the water had great drinks and the food was excellent. The grounds were well maintained and the pools were clean and relaxing. We took bikes into town one day for a stroll around the shuttle service between resorts was also helpful. Highly recommend a stay at this resort.

Firet room- Garden View..of parking lot. Second room infested w cockroaches. Third room great but maiddid not sweep the deck. Previous occupant's noticeable food crumbs on the floor. Informmed he front desk and it was never cleaned.

Staff was awesome. Very clean and well run. The cabana bar food was amazing and drinks were solid. The water pressure in our room was very low. Overall 5 stars and made for a great anniversary celebration.

Great except for the Rats! Although the room was spacious and comfortable, the staff very friendly, and the amenities are great we have to give a poor rating due to the issues we had with rats. The rooms were very clean but at night a rat was found running through the room and kitchen. It jumped up on the counters and ran under the sink. The hotel staff were kind and tried to remediate by closing a hole under the sink and supplying a trap but they did not offer to move us. 2 nights later the rat reappeared. We had two sleepless nights. After the 2nd incident it took us nearly an hour to find security. They were kind enough to find us a new room but it was a tight fit for 3 adults to share a queen bed. They offered to see if there was another room in another building with a sofa bed, but it was so late we stuck with what they offered. Hopefully they can address the pest problem for future guests. Note as we left and shared our concerns with the front desk, we were told the property manager would call us but they still have not done so.

The resort was beautiful!! The staff were personable and all the meals were delicious. The rooms were spacious and clean. There was plenty of space for relaxing on the beach. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to travelers looking to enjoy a wonderful vacation.

We had an amazing time at ocean club east. We got a third floor ocean view unit and couldn’t have been happier with it. Beautiful resort, great piece of beach in grace bay and the cabana bar is convenient steps off the beach.

Great place. Very nice- not super fancy, but very nice. Our condo was renovated and having the space was great as was the ability to eat in if we wanted. Screened in balcony was fantastic. Food onsite was excellent. Had many different things and they were all great . Staff very friendly and helpful! Enjoyed the outdoor firepit at night and bar availability. Little grocery shop onsite was convenient. Beachfront was amazing- always had chairs available. Amazing swimming area. Never felt crowded. Was helpful to have shuttle to ocean club west, though there were a few times it didn’t come and had to be called. But they did end up coming. Pool is not “ swanky” but it was clean and nice. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

I called to specifically request not to have a 1st floor room and they put us in a 1st floor room that was dusty, tv didn't work at first, shower was hard to turn off. They had us look at a higher floor room that turned out to be occupied. Then waited to see a larger unit on a 2nd floor that we ended up taking at a much higher price, after many hours of travel. Decor was a little dated but workable. Staff is very nice.

The 2 bedroom beachfront condo was beautiful, clean and updated. Air conditioner worked really well. The balcony and view spectacular. Food at the Cabana was delicious. Pool and beach clean and conveniently located. Lobby was dated.

Ocean club east had everything we (mid 60s) needed for a relaxing beach vacation. That turquoise ocean is truly mesmerizing! Older property with spacious clean rooms, nothing fancy, but had everything we needed, incl washer/dryer! All staff we encountered were polite, pleasant & accommodating. Property & pool kept very clean. The only thing we missed from home was a decent shower- lousy water pressure entire week! IMO it’s located in the perfect area for long walks on the beach, not many other hotels to the right of the property- a huge plus. If you want to venture out, the shuttle service to ocean club west resort leaves every 30”, then you can easily walk into town with more restaurants & stores. If you plan an excursion, such as a sunset sail, snorkel trip etc, most boats will pick up & drop off near dock next door “if you ask” so no taxi needed! Very convenient! An FYI. Resort was perfect for what we needed. If you’re looking for nightlife, everything shuts down at 10P. Music geared to our age group, fine with us! If you’re a family with kids, there are no play structures, kids bikes or planned children activities. There are a couple of pools without waterslides, pretty basic c/w US hotel pools, but you do have that beach with an array of floats & noodles when available. If return to TCI, we will definitely stay there again!!!

Everything we wanted and expected from our Turks and Caicos vacation. Appreciated all the staff, everyone was welcoming and courteous. Loved our room and the kitchen, and the balcony with the ocean view was perfect for a relaxing breakfast or a drink. The food in the beachfront restaurant was pretty good, we tried the breakfast, lunch and dinner there. Also, the shuttle to the Ocean Club West was very convenient to get to the center.

Beautiful stay at Ocean Club East, we had 2 bedroom with a big oceanfront balcony, kitchen fully loaded,everything super clean in our room, we ate two times at the cabana restaurant for breakfast and lunch and the food was really good, we enjoyed the beautiful beach with the complimentary chairs and umbrella,we always got first row without any problem, the resort is very family friendly with also a lot of different ages couples, we had a wonderful time there

First time visit to Turks & Caicos and we couldn't have picked a better place to stay. The room was perfect for a our family of 5 with a 2 bedroom 3 bathroom room with a perfect view of the resort and view to the bay. There was also a sofa bed in the living room. The Cabana restaurant was also excellent. Every item that we tried on that menu, including the drinks, were great. Would definitely stay here again.

Overpriced. The hotel was nice, of course way more expensive for what it actually is. Restaurant is nice but super expensive- you need to spend money to be fed here. Beach is great. Two towels per guest but only if you show a pass. Spa is way, way overpriced for the service, and mediocre. I would've rated the property a little higher IF they had allowed us extra time at check out- we were delayed by a whole day at the airport, and the hotel offered absolutely NO consideration, or even commiseration. Who does that during the holiday season? They have no service to and from airport, would not let us check in or even camp out at reception- that didn't even enter their brains. So we slept on FEMA cots at the airport, while all around us people went to their hotels. Even Ritz offered us a "stress room rate." Such inhuman and non caring behavior from a hotel that charges well close to a thousand a night is unacceptable.

Just completed our (1st) stay at Ocean Club East (06/25). Overall: Solid resort. Would stay again. But 10-20% overpriced. Here's the good: - It's away from town so quieter in terms of traffic & people - Beach is stunning. Paddle boards, kayak, goggles complimentary to use - Shuttles run regularly thru the day; getting to town & back is easy - Cleaning crew does a good job Why overpriced: - Buildings/rooms/furnishings aren't updated. We had a leak in the roof; some outlets didn't work; a lamp was missing its switch, tp holders tearing away from bathrm walls, etc. - Food is expensive! On-site restaurants way overpriced. 2 of us dropped ~$80 for lunch (2 lunch entrees and 1 nonalcoholic drink), and $20-$40 more for dinner, if we threw in an app. - Average hospitality for the price. OCE feels like training ground for hospitality workers who want to go on to better hotel/resort gigs, e.g.: >>When we checked in, there were several things we weren't told that would've been helpful - e.g., that there was a convenience store on site + another restaurant besides Cabana Bay on the property >>When we were on our way to check out, schlepping our suitcases and bags, an employee in a golf cart that we passed could've offered to take us to the lobby but didn't. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. The beach is great - lots of chair options but get there early if you want your choice of seats. One restaurant on premises - very expensive, but food is fine. The gym is well stocked with equipment and clean and was conviently located in our building. It is very quiet at night, which we appreciated. I would not say the staff or front desk folks were helpful - we checked in- they pointed to our building - no one showed us anything or helped with luggage- - and we never had an interaction with them again. Daily cleaning is hit or miss- mostly just emptying garbage - sometimes mopping - leaving fresh towels. Very minimal and different every day. I would not call this a 4.5 or 5 resort - but i would stay there again! We had a car and had some fabulous meals on the island and toured the island ourselves. Driving on the left side of the road is challenging! Very laid back vibe on Turks and Caicos - not a lot to do- but we were there to relax and had a great time.

The front desk associate Michael and guest services manager Vernessa went above and beyond to make my stay perfect. Amazing staff and a super clean property. The shuttle to the west property was very convenient and saved us from having to call a cab when going into town.

Breakfasts were great, beach was beautiful, the room was clean and very nice. The staff were all amazing from check-in to restaurant staff, pool/beach staff, and security/shuttle service staff. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, a little further from town at Ocean Club East but so convenient with the hotel shuttle taking you to Ocean Club West!

We had to ask housekeeping almost everyday for shampoo and conditioner or towels. We had no water two of the days while we were there and they didn't bother to tell us. The food saved our stay because it was great at the restaurant.

Love this place!!! Relaxing and not overcrowded. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Vanessa (manager) came to our immediate rescue when we had a minor issue with our room and went above and beyond to ensure we had the perfect room for our trip. Honestly the food at this resort was as good or better than most of the restaurants we went to outside of the resort. The most beautiful beach area and beaches I have ever seen. We will be back and we will stay here again!!!

There are 2 Ocean Clubs. We stayed on the East, which is a little farther away from the main thoroughfare. We used the shuttle (free) each day that took us to Ocean Club (West). From there we walked to many restaurants. The rooms were clean and the staff were so kind. We would stay here again!

The resort is directly on Grace Bay Beach which is always the most stunning beach in the Caribbean. Walk for miles on white sandy beach. The Resort is far from the town center but they provide a free shuttle to the sister, newer resort, the Ocean Club West which is right in the center with the shopping and restaurants.

Glad we stayed at Ocean Club East. We were debating between Ocean club east and west. If you like quiet beach and less crowd, East is a great location on Grace Bay beach. Ocean Club West looks bit upgraded property and it’s right in the downtown, near restaurants, resorts etc. but we rented a car so proximity was not important. They also have frequent shuttle service for east to west in case if you are not renting a car. You will get access to pool, Kayak rental, paddle boat etc at both locations. Beach at Ocean Club West was not just crowded but also very deep. Personally I won’t spent more to stay in west.

The beachfront resort area is amazing!!! Very convenient to have the Club Med diving center next to our Resort. We liked the shuttle ride that allowed us to get back and for to the West Resort. I didn’t like the fact that you needed to pay cash or credit card every time for food or drinks, rather than charging those to your room, specifically when that is not the case on the Ocean Club West.

We had the best stay! The beachfront condo we stayed in was huge and so clean! Staff were all amazing and helpful. We had some car trouble and they helped us navigate that as well. The beach is beautiful, restaurant was delicious- perfect stay.

We enjoyed everything and everyone about this property. The only thing we wouldn't recommend is the Opus Restaurant. They were pushy. We were asked what we would like yo drink and we mentioned water for starters and they kept suggesting wine off the bat. They didn’t mention that tbey were going to give us bottled water at $7.50 for each one. When we asked about sitting outside we wish they would've mentioned the fly attack. The restaurant was also pretty dusty inside and nit well kept outside. Wd would not recommend this restaurant. The bill wasn't worth what we received

This resort is a little piece of heaven! There are two pools - one is located right on the ocean next to its fantastic bar/cafe. The staff here is so friendly, And they go out their way to make sure you are having a great time and that your room is immaculate throughout your stay. Oh and did I say that the beach is the most beautiful beach on earth? The sand is white and the water is clear and calm. This is one of my finest vacations ever! I highly recommend it and Ocean Club.

Awesome stay. Room was clean and had everything we needed Friendly and helpful staff. Wonderful meals and a great beach! Pools were clean and the beach amenities were plentiful and easy to get to. Family loved the vacation

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Ocean view and beach were absolutely stunning. Complementary coffee was so appreciated!!
