Old outdated, dirty and smelly. Neglected property. Weeds growing through the deck. Hasn't been mowed in months. The pool in the picture was empty and hasn't been used in years. Kitchen was unusable. Drawers and cabinets are all falling apart. Showers were dirty. National Lampoon vacation.

It was private and had a real nice pool area. I would stay there again

Where do I begin? This place was a dump and completely misrepresented. There was no actual "Lodge" that I ever saw like are shown in the pictures. We had to drive 5 miles away form the office location to get to the place, which was never explained. Wifi didn't work. When I called they said they would check and get back to me. They never did. There was no shower curtain and the shower stream almost shot back towards the wall making a shower difficult at best. Fixtures were ripped of the walls. The downstairs bathroom sink had no hot water. The same bathroom had no curtain on window so someone could look right in. The fridge freezer was dirty. When I asked about ice they said the machine was broke so we had no ice. The kitchen sink was half stopped up and took forever to drain. There was a mattress downstairs against the stairs that was supposed to be on a bed upstairs. Apparently nobody bothered to do so. There was no blinds or curtains over the kitchen sink window so someone could just peer in if wanted. I would never stay here again if you paid me. We just needed a simple place to crash for the evening after spending the day in Yosemite and were leaving again early in the morning. Spend a little extra and get an actual hotel as this was not it. Everything was far outdated and new and shiny like the pics represent. I'm frankly surprised that Expedia would have such a listing on their site. Expedia should be embarrassed.

The pictures that were posted online are not what the property looks like. I took pictures from around the property because it’s a mess. Safety equipment in the pool area are not hung on the wall the bbq is ready to fall apart. There is cut tile from rooms laying around. There is just so many things wrong and paying top dollar it was rediculous. Not to mention I wanted to change my payment method when I checked in and was told no. You already paid so that’s the way it is. I was not happy with that at all. The check out rules posted in the room stating that you have to take out your own trash. Nope I don’t work there not doing their jobs for them

Nice laid back cute little property that had everything we needed except for an ice machine. Safe and had a good view of the mountains. Easy check in and friendly staff

Looks good from 100 feet, but... 1. No one was around at check-in time. 2. Had to make phone calls just to find out the plan. 3. The room door didn't shut properly. 4. Refrigerator door was also funky. 5. Walkway was unswept and had litter. 6. Caulking in the bathroom looked very amateurishly done. 7. Fascia stones are falling off. 8. The paved part of the parking area was dirty and unkempt, and the rest was unpaved and dusty. . Would have been okay at half the price. At the price they charge, unacceptable. The facility looks okay from a distance, but once I got up close, there were many uncorrected issues and flaws . I do not recommend this place. .

They charged me an additional cleaning fee before checking in, over and above the Expedia reservation amount, almost 100 per day extra, when we get to the cabin the pool is empty the BBQ propane is empty and the place trashy around the house

This place was SO misrepresented on hotels.com. It should be taken down. The pool is empty and full of debris. The front desk said "under repair" but its just decaying. Everything is crumbling and run down. I cant imagine what the "pool access" room looked like. Our house was off site, 5 miles away which would have been fine, excrpt we had to drive back to the front desk as NO toilet paper, NO extra bedding for the pull out couch, and NO paper towels. The house itself looked abandoned. No upkeep. Yard overgrown with weeds. Inside cupboards were broken, light fixtures missing covers, sagging and dirty curtains. Super weird smell with empty glade plugins all over. Just so bad. But the kicker were the spiders. The kids killed 3 when we left to get toilet paper. I am not posting a picture of that as it is so disgusting but my kids took one. I plugged the open bathroom sink with a washcloth and that helped. There was no curtain in the kitchen so my kids took a painting off the wall to cover it for sleeping. Only positives I can give our the front desk person was nice, even though he didn't seem to know what was going on, the a/c worked, and the bedding was clean. We were only there 12 hours overnight. Any longer we would have had to have a different place. I see some reviews arent bad so i think some homes might be better. I would not agree to stay until AFTER you see where they put you.

Room was dirty. Mold was growing inside of the microwave. Old smelly food was in the mini fridge. Stains on the towels and bed sheets.

The whole place was dirty and rundown.The shower was terrible. Nothing was clean. We didn't stay afraid to stay there. We took one look at the place and told the manager we were not staying, we canceled the reservation.

Terrible stay. Dirty room, insects on towels, spider in the sink. On the second night we found a snake in the shower, ants on the bed, and a mouse in the room. We left the hotel in the middle of the night. Completely unsafe. This was by far the worst hotel experience we’ve ever had. When we arrived, the room was extremely dirty. There was a spider in the sink, and the towels were full of dead insects – we had to ask for clean ones. The sink clearly hadn’t been properly cleaned or disinfected. We had booked for two nights. On the second night, we went to take a shower and were horrified to find a snake in the bathroom. The front desk clerk came and removed it (dead), and we then realized the room had multiple animal traps inside. After the shower, ants started crawling on the bed – and then, to our shock, a mouse ran across the room. That was the final straw. Within minutes, we grabbed our things and left the hotel around 11 PM, desperately searching for another place to stay. This hotel is completely unhygienic and unsafe. Avoid at all costs.

The photos on the listing are deceiving. The room was not clean. The bathroom smelled like sewage and there were mouse traps all over half chewed. The freezer and microwave were disgusting. The box spring was extremely stained. The room smelt like it hadn’t been opened for years. Not to mention the outside property was in shambles. No water in the pool, old chairs and furniture everywhere. We were not happy with the stay.

This is the most dirtiest hotel I have ever been to. Even the towel had some bad smell. The bathroom is also not safe and the front door was broken. I don’t know how they are doing business.

Blankets clearly weren’t washed, there were dirty spots all over it. Towels also not clean, sheets had hair on it. Shower wasn’t properly working either, water was cold. Used cigarettes left on the table. Just a terrible experience.

I know you get what you pay for, but this wasn't even worth the money i paid. The place is dirty. Garbage all over the grounds. Torn up driveway. Random parking spots. I found a used coffee cup (disposable) next to the coffee pot indicating the pot was probably not clean either. Overall dirty. The bathroom shade was torn up and has a light on the ground outside pointed directly at the window. I had to hang a towel for privacy and to block the light. The curtains had gaps where they wouldn't close allowing light to stream in and didn't provide privacy. The shower knob was on a shelf under the sink. I had to figure out which way to move the little rod to take a shower. The deadbolt didn't work. The bed was fairly comfortable. But the pillows sucked.

It was really bad. The holes at walls that were patched. There was missing trim. The towels were dirty. Refrigerator was dirty. The coffee machine was dirty. There was the door was broken and loose. Everything was off. The pipes had leaked. There was damage around that the bottom of the sink in the bathroom, it was definitely dingy and rundown.

The place was extremely dirty. We were horrified to find termites infesting the bed, spiders skittering in every corner, and thick cobwebs heavy with dead insects throughout the property. This is clearly a calculated scam, I urgently warn anyone considering this place to check the reviews before booking. This wasn’t just a bad stay; it was a deliberate fraud that left us feeling cheated and betrayed. We picked up our stuff and went back home.

The location is good and what is extremely unacceptable is the cleaning conditions, it is very bad, you expect to get to rest in a clean bed but it is the opposite, dirty sheets with hair and stains from having been used or not changed for clean ones, it is a big frustration, the bathroom drain was clogged and we reported it but no one came to fix it, dirty bathroom and floors

Had a little balcony off front door and wonderful views. Only here for 1 night would have loved to been here longer. Room had a coffee pot with condiments and a mini fridge. Air worked quickly and efficiently. Room had 3 beds and was still plenty spacious for us and our things.

Room was clean. Balcony view was fantastic! Beds were very comfortable.

Too expensive hotel, rooms close to noisy road, dirty fridge with water inside the fruit and vegetables drawer.

The motel was just what we needed, nothing more. It was in a convenient location with a very small room for the night. We didn't need extra amenities and this place doesn't really have extras. The bed is really cheap and noisy, the room is a bit dingy and home-made, the property is overgrown and the walls are thin; but we were able to park our motorcycle right outside the room and well away from the street. There won't be random people walking by. The view from our room was fantastic. There was coffee in the room and clean bedding/towels. So with the proper expectations this place was perfect! The saloon across the street was also perfect! I highly recommend this motel under the right conditions for you. It's not a Hilton.

There was no hot water when I showered. Wifi was very poor. I could not use computer or watch TV. The check in was very easy. The owner was very nice and the view was wonderful.

Room has been painted recently. Furniture is servicable but getting old. Bed has sheet metal sides which make noise when turning over in bed. Good to have a full oven but there is no ovenproof cooking vessel supplied . Hob and microwave work well. Nice mountain views.

This was a much better stay than anticipated! For some reason the pictures on Expedia are a little off... We only stayed one night for a quick trip to Yosemite. The view was gorgeous from our room; it's overlooking the mountainside. The area is safe and quiet and only a few minutes away from a small town with restaurants, gas station, etc. Our room was nice and clean. The only downside was that everything on the property was so old - the bedsheets, the towels (one was stained and worn), and the appliances. The door kept getting stuck. If they upgraded these things, the stay would have been 10/10. Wouldn't mind staying again for a quick in and out trip!

Bed uncomfortable, likely sleeping on blow-up matter, bedframe made worping noises whenever you moved. Tile floor made it even colder. No place to hang clothes, bath towels located in main room. Tp holder broken, only half was actually on wall so the tp was on toilet behind you. No lighting for path to get to the room, door faces highway which was noisy all night. No shade on lamp, no clock

Perfect mountain lodge for my stay. Located right on highway 41 in Oakhurst, the lodge was in a great central location to Yosemite, the Sierra Nevada trails, and restaurants and shooed in Oakhurst. The staff was very responsive. Check in and check out we’re very easy. It was very quiet while I was there and the view outside my lodge was gorgeous. I would definitely stay here again.

Chose this place due to its convenient location to Yosemite. Unfortunately we never got to stay in the scheduled accommodation as the rooms got cancelled by the hotel. The issue was a pre-stay credit check which our bank card thought was possibly fraudulent as we had not even got to the US at that time. When we saw this we had contacted the hotel and the bank and received messages of reassurance that all was well. However on arriving, shocked to see that the booking had been cancelled. Had we known beforehand, alternative arrangements could have been made. They did manage to squeeze us in on the night but we had to pay a fortune to find an accommodation elsewhere on the second night. First time a pre-booked accommodation via Hotels.com been unilaterally cancelled. Very disappointing.

The staff and office never answer their phones. Made numerous attempts to call office and no response. Also the office number area code is for another state. Not a California area code from Oakhurst. It’s a scam! Do not book or make a reservation there. You will not get your money back. Scam.

Canceled my reservation and sold my room for a higher price to someone else. Drove three hours and then never contacted me. Very rude and unhelpful and tried offering a another hotel hours away. Insane. Do NOT book with them! Conditions were dirty and trash everywhere.

For $109, it was awesome, had a great view, office guy was very nice! Easy check in and easy check out

This was just the worst experience and I am not fussy. This was a bait and switch scheme. I booked with the impression, given the photos and reviews ON HERE…should have checked Google. NO HOTEL, NO pool, NO wifi, No access to restaurants or amenities as advertised, no front desk, NO COFFEE!. Not a care about you either. NOW THE PLACE…3 miles up the hwy, 3miles into a no exit road, dingy filthy yard, broken bbq, no locks, 2” gap under front door for critters, spiders, NO CURTAINS. NO WIFI NO CELL, NO POOL, NO LAKE, NO FRONT DESK, toilet plugged but they did come unplug it while we were out. BEDS are BOX SPRING HARD! Felt like we were in a horror movie waiting for Mike Myers.

This was by far the worst motel experience I’ve ever had. We were left waiting on the highway because nobody bothered to answer our calls, which is absolutely unacceptable for any hospitality business. Even after being given a big property, the basics were missing – the AC didn’t work, WiFi was down, and even water supply was a problem. To make it worse, the bathroom was dirty and unhygienic, showing zero attention to cleanliness. When we tried reaching out for WiFi support, the staff never picked up the phone. Their behavior and attitude toward guests was careless, unprofessional, and downright disrespectful. A motel is supposed to provide comfort and service, but here we only faced negligence and frustration. If you care about your time, money, or peace of mind, avoid this place completely.”

I booked a room for my soon-to-be father-in-law and chose the option for him to pay upon check in. I reserved it with my credit card however I had no intention of putting the charges on that card since he would be paying when he arrived from Arizona. Since I was getting married in two days I paid my caterer in full that day. Later in the afternoon I got noticed my card was declined twice. I quickly realized it must be the stay I had booked so I called them immediately. The man who answered the phone was “Gill” and he was very rude. He said he didn’t care what Expedia said, I either pay right now or he was canceling the booking. I explored to him that I was getting married and my father-in-law was coming out of state and it would be impossible to find a decent booking 24 hours before he arrives and he said he was canceling the booking if I didn’t pay “right now “. He told me to call Expedia to complain because that wasn’t his problem. I told him my son would have to get his credit card and once again told him I didn’t understand how he is refusing to honor the terms from Expedia. He hung up on me. I had to call back twice and provide him with a credit card to keep the booking. This is the first and only time I have ever been treated so disrespectfully. Another friend of mine stayed in another cabin of theirs and said it was filthy, they even found 2 half eaten chicken nuggets behind the soap dispenser. They refused to stay there past one night and left.

The stay was very comfortable. The gentleman who checked us in was very hospitable and helpful. The lodge was clean and had all the amenities one can need. Overall wonderful experience.

Paid $199 a night, granted on a long weekend for Yosemite trip Lodge #1 was 7 mins from Oakhurst, but house was not in great condition: a lot of fraying paint and peeling door frames, almost everything was a little broken in some way. Bare minimum items. No Wifi which was most important. Called lodge staff and he said wifi people checked and it’s broken, so he had a new place for us to move into for our 2nd day. Next day, we moved after dinner (we were out all day) and turned out lodge #2 was 35mins from #1 and deeper in the hills, so we were driving in darkness and further away from Yosemite (causing our travel to be longer the next morning). This place had very nice surroundings and some lake view, and had wifi and clean towels. But aside from that it was NOT clean. Hair and dust and dirt everywhere, even in power sockets. The pillows had hair, sink and bathtub had hair and used soap bars, trash from prev tenant was left over, goop all over windows, and things were also not working: bathtub wouldn’t drain well and lightbulbs flickering. Called the staff about it and he said sorry and he thinks housekeeping dropped towels off but didn’t clean the place. its obvious they didn’t change the bedsheets and pillows from the previous users too. That was awful. Staff who was my point of contact didn’t have the best communication in some instances but they were nice enough to get me a kettle when i request one (the lodges don’t come with it).

Very convenient bc is just on the side of the road.

Place was too far into the woods and very secluded which I personally did not enjoy. We drove 16 miles from registration office which was not described when booking the room! Keep in mind when reserving! Overall was ok.

It is a clean room in Oakhurst ans youbare very close to yosemite and shops. Great location.

It was such a convenient stay. It was close to shopping areas and minutes from Bass Lake.

I was expecting what was advertised in the picture was the one we will be getting but instead its the opposite. I was told that the pictures that this property posted was from other sites that supposedly they owned. None of the pictures listed was there. I asked for the pool and the front desk told me its under construction. Booked 2 Bedroom but the other bedroom is very hot and no HVAC. Its just like a 1 bedroom and an extension. I have complained on the front desk and he gave me a standing fan. I have to share with my friends beds just to fit in a room with HVAC. If there is a negative beyond 1 star I would give this to you for the price we paid, we could have booked a decent hotel close by. Very bad experience on this property. Unless your are in desperate situation and there is nothing available within the area, avoid this one at all cost. Take your family to a decent place not this one. First time using Expedia and this too disappointing experience. Never again trusting this. I got better reviews from other places I stayed.

I stayed for one night with my dog. Very convenient, cool spot to explore the area and around town. It’s also only 20 minutes from the South Entrance of Yosemite. I would stay here again!

Just on the outskirts of oakhurst. Approx. 5 minutes from many shops such as antiques, salons, and food (mexican, bbq, fast food). Room was clean and check in was easy. Less than 30 mins from yosemite south entrance. Towels smelled funny but they appeared clean. Bar right across the street too, didnt create a noise issue.
