This century-old house makes a perfect B&B. It's conveniently located close to the historic area of Williamsburg, with free off-street parking. The rooms are beautifully decorated and comfortable. The owners/hosts are gracious and accommodating. Breakfasts are home-cooked and delicious. Bear in mind that this is a B&B, not a hotel. While there is free wifi, there are no televisions in individual rooms. (Although there is a tv in the large living room.) The bathroom in our room was small, with a shower and not a tub. There is no elevator. These characteristics are typical of many such establishments, and do not detract from the experience of staying there. I highly recommend the Cedars of Williamsburg.

I would happily stay here again! Alex, the owner, served breakfast each day and chats with people. Leroy, the manager, is friendly, helpful, and welcoming. You couldn’t pick a better location in Williamsburg to be close to W&M or Colonial Williamsburg. Parking is behind the building and it was easy to get in and out. The area is quiet at night and very safe. I had high expectations when I booked my stay here and they were exceeded! Everything you’d expect and want from a B&B.

Alex is the most outgoing & accomodating host I ever saw. He carried our 100 lbs. plus or luggage up to the third floor in one trip. We stayed in the Patrick Henry room. Very clean. We thoroughly enjoyed the period ambiance in the decor and furnishings. The Cedars is easily accessed off a main road with ample parking in the back. Easy drive to Colonial Williamsburg.

We stayed in the George Washington room! It was wonderful! Alex, the owner, and Leroy were the consummate hosts. Leroy made us a sumptuous breakfast and was incredible at conversation! We loved watching films at night on Britbox while sipping tea in fireplace room! Hands down we would stay again! The Cedars of Williamsburg is within walking distance of all the attractions we wanted to see!

Located 2 min from William & Mary College. And a 10 minute walk to Old Williamsburg. We would definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

Although built in 1932 it felt as if it could be an 18th century building, which made it really cool. Small room, as you would expect from that era. Very clean, quiet, comfortably firm mattress, tasty breakfasts, which were different every day, About a half mile from Colonial Williamsburg so easily walkable or a $10 Uber ride.

The Cedars of Williamsburg is ideally located within a 12 minute walk to Colonial Williamsburg area and Merchant's Square, as well as multiple excellent restaurants in the William and Mary campus area. The rooms were clean, though could have been improved by vacuuming daily when the staff came in to restock towels and make the bed. The bathroom in our King William room was quite small, though this was the space constraint of an older house with a lot of beauty and character otherwise. The staff was cordial, helpful, and in general, excellent as well. Breakfasts were delicious every day, and showed good variety. We were in town for several days for a wedding and some sight-seeing. In all, this bed and breakfast was a very good choice for our stay.

Alex and staff were wonderful and so hospitable! It’s been about 20 years that we stayed in B&B and would definitely come back to Cedars again. The location was awesome, the room very clean and comfortable and the breakfasts were delicious!!

We were greeted at the front door by a very gracious lady who showed us where everything was and ended at our room. The room, though not large, was very comfortable and clean and certainly big enough for the two of us. We loved that it was across the street from William & Mary University and went for a walk on campus. Best of all it was a few blocks from Colonial Williamsburg and we could walk there & back. Had a great breakfast with the very entertaining owner/chef! This is an ideal place to stay when visiting Williamsburg and only a short drive to Jamestown and Yorktown.

Colonial elegance with all the modern amenities. Very friendly and cordial staff and the rooms were beautifully decorated with charming furniture. The breakfast served was excellent and the breakfast room and lounge was one of our favorites. Highly recommend.

Absolutely charming. It is the cutest bed & breakfast. Our room was great. We stayed in the GW suite. Spacious, cute, comfy. The bathroom was tiny but clean. The breakfast was delicious! Located 2 min from William & Mary College. And a 10 minute walk to Old Williamsburg. We would definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

I wholeheartedly recommend the Cedars to travelers. A wonderful B&B with loads of charm located right across the street from William & Mary University and within walking distance to Williamsburg Market Place and public transportation. The breakfasts were wonderful. Our bedroom and bathroom were very clean. The bathroom sink was in a very narrow space, but it was certainly not an issue for my wife and me. It was a nice place to land at the end of the day after taking in all the wonderful nearby historical spots. We will certainly be back!

We were greeted at the front door by a very gracious lady who showed us where everything was and ended at our room. The room, though not large, was very comfortable and clean and certainly big enough for the two of us. We loved that it was across the street from William & Mary University and went for a walk on campus. Best of all it was a few blocks from Colonial Williamsburg and we could walk there & back. Had a great breakfast with the very entertaining owner/chef! This is an ideal place to stay when visiting Williamsburg and only a short drive to Jamestown and Yorktown.

This place is very nice. The owner, Alex, does a wonderful job. He prepares great food for breakfast. He is very personable. The only suggestion is to remodel the bathroom to put in a larger and higher sink.

This century-old house makes a perfect B&B. It's conveniently located close to the historic area of Williamsburg, with free off-street parking. The rooms are beautifully decorated and comfortable. The owners/hosts are gracious and accommodating. Breakfasts are home-cooked and delicious. Bear in mind that this is a B&B, not a hotel. While there is free wifi, there are no televisions in individual rooms. (Although there is a tv in the large living room.) The bathroom in our room was small, with a shower and not a tub. Although built in 1932 it felt as if it could be an 18th century building, which made it really cool. Small room, as you would expect from that era. Very clean, quiet, comfortably firm mattress, tasty breakfasts, which were different every day, About a half mile from Colonial Williamsburg so easily walkable or a $10 Uber ride.

Alex and staff were wonderful and so hospitable! It’s been about 20 years that we stayed in B&B and would definitely come back to Cedars again. The location was awesome, the room very clean and comfortable and the breakfasts were delicious!!

This place was beautiful with very sweet staff! The breakfast was very flavorful, diverse, and served in a very lovely, chef fashion! The fresh fruit was my favorite! It was quiet, yet close enough to walk to town! I loved the colonial decor and atmosphere of my stay and would love to visit again some day!
