We had an amazing stay at Cliffhouse and were pleasantly surprised by how beautiful it is. The only minor issues we encountered were that the pullout couch was quite uncomfortable for our kids, and it was frustrating that children aren’t allowed in the main pool—everyone with kids ends up crowded around a small pool off to the side. Aside from that, everything else was fantastic!

We cannot wait to return to Cliff House. Emily and Jessica at the spa were simply amazing. The spa itself rivals some of the best I have ever experienced. Hope at the concierge desk was especially helpful. The breakfast at the Tiller was excellent. Lunch at Nubbs was a gluten intolerant’s dream. The complimentary coffe/tea/water station on each floor was a great touch. All of the details of the property did not go unnoticed. We love the Cliff House!

Beautiful property! Note that there is no Valet during off season which isn’t a problem for most. Additionally, room service does not run all day. Otherwise all staff were wonderful and I can’t wait to come back!

The choice of using microfiber linens was not a good one. Parking is limited, and once exhausted, only valet parking is available. An additional hot tub would be wonderful , and the current people soup caldron may be lightened. These are the obvious things that are talked about amongst the guests. They also talk about the wonderful amenities, ambience, food, and peace the facility offers.

Beautiful well managed property with views, views, views! Service is great, staff well trained and the spa one of the best ones around. Suggest booking spa appointments early as it is very popular. Dining options good on site. Walker's close by is excellent as is the the Central.

The hot tub wasn’t hot the first day. Luckily they fixed for second day. The showers also weren’t hot on Saturday or Sunday. Finally Monday morning we had hot water. Besides that it was great. The people who work there are wonderful! We love the bartender Sean at Nubbs - everyone so friendly! The hot tub is our favorite!!! The fireplace and live music sat night was awesome too!

Our stay over the summer at the Cliff House was enjoyable. Great property with amazing views and well kept. We wish we knew before we booked that we wouldn’t be able to use the main pool due to our children’s ages. Unfortunately, we had an issue with one of their new EV chargers and after multiple stops at the front desk and a few phone calls, I never received a response from the manager. I ended up having to pay a ridiculous $100 bill for literally $3 worth of electricity.

Disappointing to say the least. Upholstered furniture in public areas and room look like they need a good cleaning. Tried to dine in the dining room but “it was fully committed for the evening” Only dining option was seating in the small bar. “Shareable” hummus appetizer came with just 2 small pieces of bread and they charged more for 6 additional crackers! Bar menu extremely limited and food just average. Minimal in-room amenities - had to go down the hallway to access a Keurig coffeemaker. The view of the ocean was the only redeeming point.

I asked the housekeeper to come back in an hour. She didnt . That is but when wr went out for dinner I asked the front desk to have a room refresh. They did the refresh but keft dirty mug, glasses and paper coffee cups on the bureau and did not pride fresh glasses/ mugs. Disappointing .

Our room was spotless and beautiful, facility resort and grounds were beautiful, and there was an indoor corridor connecting the buildings so we were able to access everything without going outside if we chose.

There were dirty underwear and socks in a drawer. I expected them to move us out of the room but the manager just apologized. Not a big deal for me but the proper thing to do would have been to get customers out of the room. Instead we waited 1/2 hour for staff to come and remove and clean- I was disappointed. This was an anniversary get away We made reservations at their restaurant and I had requested champagne at the table because I was surprising my wife with a ring. They forgot the champagne. Apologized at the end. Picked up dessert. I expected much better at the cost of this property. Lovely property all in all

Lovely room but we all agreed the pillows were all too soft and uncomfortable. Also, the air conditioning in the room turned on and off every 10 minutes and no setting would adjust it. None of us in our room slept well due to the constant on/off. We were only there one night so it was not worth advising the hotel.

Breathtaking views, the staff were so kind and friendly to everyone, always smiling! Our room was just beautiful, so large and comfortable with a glassed in balcony to enjoy those ocean views and AMAZING sunrises!!

Views are unmatched. Expected better customer service. Upon checkout, I only received my room key - no description of services. Customer service desk required a wait any time I had a question. Employees didn't seem especially eager to help. I guess you don't have to when folks are paying and coming in no matter what!

spectacular view. Many amenities. Very nice staff. Fantastic sheets and very comfortable bed. less good were: 1) check in: Our room was not ready at 4 when it was supposed to be. We had to wait another half hour. When we did get to the room we were disappointed because we didn't really have an ocean view. We called the concierge who said he would try to find something else and would call us back. We waited 30 minutes--no return call and called again. The concierge said he was still checking and would call. We ended up sitting in the room not wanting to mess it up for another 30 minutes before we were told nothing was available. Understandable that there wasn't, but it shouldn't have taken them 90 minutes. Breakfast food was only fair and excessively expensive ($65 for eggs and juice for two).

Stunning hotel and location. Stayed here for four days and was treated well from the moment we got in. Thanks, Nadine! The Ledges rooms can't be beat. Using the Volvo was a nice perk. We'll be back soon!

Loved the experience but arrived at 2. Told that the room was being cleaned but would definitely be ready by 4:00. Room wasn’t ready at 4, not available at 4:15 “still being cleaned”…, finally ready at 4:35. Check out at 10 am…. Only really get a room for half a day.

The stay here was truly breath taking. From the time you enter the ground very beautiful and secluded. The reception desk people were extremely friendly, Valet were very nice, and the Tillers restaurant waitresses very friendly and attentive. The rooms were clean and the view of the ocean was spectacular.

Lovely property you can't beat the views in the location very surprised of the four valet standing around that not one of them came over to help me with my bag and then when I walked in the lobby there was six people 2 concierge and for front desk people not one of them greeted me it felt very cold and uncomfortable to walk up to the desk to check in the girl checking me in wasn't the least bit welcoming. As I was making my way to my room a very very nice young gentleman stopped me and asked if he could help me he brought my luggage to the room he even went back to my car and got a few small things that was the highlight of my trip somebody just stopping me for no reason to get me to my room and help me made me feel welcome The room I had was oceanfront I woke up early the next morning to the most beautiful sunset it was really peaceful to be able to sit out on the balcony with chairs and a small table none of these things would stop me from going back there but just a little surprised that their lack of customer service and making people feel welcome when you arrive

Before I made this reservation I made sure it was along the Marginal Way. Google was wrong it was not, and it was not walkable to anything. This was a huge disappointment for us. We were in room 751. The housekeeper didn’t make the bed till late afternoon and knocked on the door after 9pm to see if we needed towels??? We had plenty of towels and didn’t she know that? Wondering, if we had been asleep if she would’ve just walked in? My husband became ill one night and they have nothing like an incidentals shop where you can buy Advil, antacids, toothpaste etc so I went to the front desk to ask if they had anything like Tums or Roland’s and they acted as if I was asking for prescription medication. They told me I would have to drive into Ogunquit. It was late, I had just had 2 glasses of wine. I went to the valet to see if I could get a ride and by that time the front desk called and said “we have plenty of antacids”. A place that far away from town needs a little store for incidentals instead of just stores that sell art and expensive sweatshirts. The room? Uncomfortable. They do not use fitted bed sheets and if you toss and turn like me you get tangled up. Furniture: one UBER uncomfortable chair and a cheap loveseat. The most comfortable chairs were the two on the balcony. We had a view of partial coastline and the family pool. The best thing about this resort is the view from the lobby and outside. The valet guys were great!

Wonderful view. Saw whales from the balcony. Coffee station pitside of clean spacious room. Great bedding and pillows. Had dinner in the terrace and it was delicious. Has a nice workout room, spa, indoor pool and outdoor pools.

This property has an amazing view and outstanding outside area. The food, not so much. We ate at both restaurants, the food has no seasonings. We ordered the Tomahawk Steak for 2 at $195. It was my first Tomahawk and boy it needed a lot of help. There wasn't any sear or seasoning on the steak. Every menu item our party of 4 had needed some sort of seasoning. Not worth the price. We pay all that money to stay at a really nice place and the food is not up to par. Try harder Cliff House. Thank You

Beautiful hotel, room on the ocean side, fireplace and sitting area. Gorgeous view and food was great though should have got the lobster roll as the lobster meal was very dear! Corn lobster chowder the best! Professional and kind staff every where. Will be back again soon!

The Cliff House is the perfect place to get away for the weekend and still be close enough to go to the nearby beaches and shops. The Tiller Restaurant has the best views and great food.

Place has changed since we were there many years ago Some for the better some not so much The buildings and staff were excellent The food at various restaurants on the grounds was so so.The prices were crazy $6 for a cup of coffee before tax and it only got worse $100.00 for 2 breakfast

Beautiful property in cute coastal Maine. You won’t be disappointed. Bring a book and sit outside at the pool overlooking the ocean. 10/10 for decompressing! Food was also amazing- get the focaccia app via room service- the best I’ve ever had.
