Westwinds Waterfront Resort

We have stayed here 4 times now. Love the comfort of the rooms and love being able to fish off the 3 docks out back or swim in the pool or just sit and relax outside in the evening. Beach access just yards away.

This place was absolutely perfect for us. This isn’t a traditional hotel but instead they are condos. The unit was sparkling clean. The view is fantastic. We had a corner unit and watched the dolphins swim by daily. The outside of the units has plenty of open patio space and a pool right on the intercostal. There are also two boat docks you can sit on with built in benches. The beach is right across the street at the crosswalk and you are right on the Gulf. We had a full kitchen, with supplied paper towels, dish soap and and dishwasher, stove, microwave, coffee pot and full size fridge. The unit is well furnished with TV’s in each bedroom and comfortable CLEAN furniture. Spotless tile throughout and working windows to let the Seabreeze in. Check in was flawless with the office open and plenty of instructions if you arrive after hours. The woman in the office was just terrific and accommodating. Parking was assigned so you never had to worry about losing your spot. Grocery store and Dunkin are both close by as are plenty of great places to eat. Absolutely one of the best stays we’ve ever had from beginning to end. I highly recommend.

This property was pretty out-dated on the outside but our room was great. There was ongoing construction on some of the rooms on the first floor, so that looks promising. The pool was fine but nothing fancy. The laundry area felt like a creepy basement on the “bathroom” in the laundry area near the pool was a toilet behind a curtain. Our room was great. We had a two bedroom and the kitchen had everything we needed to make food and eat in our room which was a great savings. It was a short walk to the Publix. The public beach is right across the street and there is a cabana/umbrella rental there which is very convenient. My children’s favorite thing to do every morning was look out the back window of our room to see if there were dolphins in the water. We saw dolphins many times, as well as stingrays and lots of cool birds.

The location of this property is close to restaurants, shopping and beach and was just perfect for us. We did not need a rental car because of the free beach ride van in the area. The condo was very nice, clean, the management was very helpful, Denise was wonderful and went out of her way to make our stay excellent. The pool was warm with lovely canal views. There are grills, high top tables with umbrellas and grills out back. The dolphins come by a few times a day and you can watch from the docks on the canal. The front is on the busy street but the back is very quiet and relaxing. The beach is right across the street, a very short walk. There are sidewalks making it easy and safe for walking.

Beach on one side and bay on the other. Beautiful pool and cozy zones all along the bayside. Dolphins and manatees with morning coffee. Perfect.

The apartment was very nice. Beautiful view over the water. The pool was very nice. Laundry facilities were nice. The location was great. Just a 2 minute walk to the beach across the street. Loved it.

The condo unit was clean and perfect. It is in walking distance to the beach. The property has a very nice pool and dock area that you can rlelax smd enjoy

3 night stay with family. The condo is very spacious. It could have been a little cleaner. It is a short walk to the beach, Publix, restaurants and shops. The pool could have been cleaner. Overall it was a nice getaway. I would book it again.

The property was nice. The building was old but, the rooms are updated, modern and nice. We were assigned parking space #5. Our parking spot left something to be desired because you had to back out on to the main road.

Booked as lots of 5star reviews and looked to be a hotel. It is a block of condos with mixed rental and owners in them. I guess we were given a rubbish one. The place was filthy, our room smelt of mould and smoke - like someone had smoked for years before, everything was musty. The beds were uncomfortable, the sofa bed was so bad (all you could feel were the springs) our two 9yr olds slept in the main bed with us each night. The shower head was black like it had never been cleaned. The pool was covered in sand on the bottom and had lots of debris floating in it. No one was ever around to speak to, ruined the end of our 3 week holiday.

Wonderful stay, quite clean and well appointed. Would stay again - perfect location to visit treasure island.

Loved this place, other than a little mold in the windows, and a few hairs on our bedding, could also use a good, thorough cleaning. Very comfortable, cute decorations, even had a bunch of games for my family to enjoy! Pool was AMAZING! AMAZING intercoastal views! Drank coffee from the patio watching the sunrise/boats/birds! Spectacular views! Small complaint would be the walk to beach. . Long walk from sand to water. That’s how it is in Treasure Island, though. I would stay again! Very quiet. I could go on and on lol.

This is our 2nd time staying here and we absolutely love it!! So clean and quiet, the pool is nice with view of the bay. We will only stay here!!

Very happy with our stay. Condo was clean, communication was great, we were given all the information we needed in various ways. Only steps to the beach!

The condo was not cleaned. There was residue on the stove and counters and the toilet was filthy. There was mold all over the kitchen faucet and shower curtain. We ended up buying cleaner and lysol and cleaned and disinfested the place. We even bought sheets becsuse we were so skeeved out we did not trust that they had been clesned. Absolutely disgusting. We would have complained but we got there in the evening after driving up from ft. Lauderdale snd the office was closed do we just sucked it up and cleabed but would never book this properly again.

Nice location. Warm pool. Only thing we didn’t like was the couch wasn’t real comfortable.

The condo, and the entire complex was amazing! Great experience at check in, as the property manger on duty was super friendly, and very helpful! The location was great, and we just really enjoyed our stay. The bed in our condo really should be replaced. We felt the bed frame under us was falling apart. I even stepped on a screw on the floor as I was getting out of bed, that I believe came from the bed. Overall, It was an awesome stay!!! We will definitely be returning to stay here again!

I do not recommend The couch was old and not comfortable and the bed was broken It is currently 3:55 am and I have not been able to sleep Do not come here

Apartment was lovely furnishings in most areas great. The bed in main bedroom needs looking at very creaky. Lack of teaspoons and other cutlery and bowls and mugs but this did not spoil our stay. Has a great time will definitely return.

Gulf of Mexico was easily accessible and the bay was our "backyard". The condo was very clean and welcoming. Could have had more comfortable bed pillows and brighter nightstand lamp for reading. Plenty roomy for me and my husband. Would stay again:)

1 bedroom condo with king bed and pullout sectional. Beautiful 😍 very spacious. Large full kitchen. Dishwasher. Were locals. Born and raised. We have stayed at dozens of properties on this beach for decades. This one is an absolute GEM 💎 we will be back !

I traveled with my wife and my 11 year old Daughter. We had a great experience at Westwinds. The apartment was excellent and the views were breathtaking. Everything was spotless and had everything to spend a week long vacation. Only small issue was the water pressure in the main bathroom, very low pressure. But other than that I recommend this property any time. Location is great, Beach just a few steps away and Publix right around the corner.

The proximity to the beach and restaurants was great, as were the check in directions. The mattress and pillows left a lot to be desired. My son actually fell out of the bed on the second night because the mattress was so crooked. Some of the towels had brown stains on them. There was little to no places to hang towels in a two bedroom condo with 4 people staying there. I was overlapped disappointed at price I paid and the values I received.

Quiet place. Definately need some sort of light filtering on the blinds. The outdoor (all night) lighting is intrusive.

The rooms were perfect. The living room was spacious and inviting. The rooms were clean and fit the whole family comfortably. Large TVs in all rooms, kitchen was nice and ready to be used. Pool was very average. Would certainly consider staying here again. Great price, great room, great experience.

Thanks to the lady at the front desk who replaced the shower rod when ours broke. She was always very pleasant and helpful.

After several phone calls& emails for the past 4 weeks, I still have no information on my refund. Could not stay the full 4 nights because the elevator was inoperable.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. Management staff friendly and responsive to our questions. Beach access across the road. Quiet neighborhood with groceries and some restaurants in walking distance. Condo well supplied with towels and kitchen ammenties.

Booked and dis not receive direction as prints through expedia were unclear called messaged and showed up after a long day of travel with no follow up and charged - we did not stay horrible experience.

Absolutely loved our stay. Our room was perfect. Furniture and bed was comfortable. Nicely renovated! Outside space to hang out by the bay was awesome as well. Originally booked for 6 nights, but ended up extending our stay 2 more nights. Communication was fantastic!

Had a hard time checking in to the what we thought was a hotel, after waiting contacting a neighbor that lived their full time they explained to us that it was actually a private residence and that owners rent the units out. So after about 50 minutes trying to get someone to help us we finally reached someone whom was polite and helped us get checked in.

We arrived early and they were able to accommodate. The property and area are still recovering from the hurricanes (units being remodeled, landscaping still recovering, many business closed). The unit we stayed in was in excellent condition. Beautiful view of the intercostal and short walk to cross-walk to the beach. Highly recommend.

It was a beautiful location, beautiful views, easy walk to the beach and the grocery store.

We stayed for 3 nights after travelling from the UK. The condo was on the 2nd floor with stair access. The place was very clean with a few provisions provided which was welcome. The beach is literally over the road, wonderful sand. Unfortunately at time of writing, (Jan 25) there is still an amount of hurricane damage which meant some restaurants etc were not open.

Great location, access to beautiful Treasure Island beach across the street from the resort. Publix just a walking distance away. Condo has all necessities, including beach chairs and umbrella. Would definitely come back again!

Very responsive, comfortable beds, great views and loved how we could just walk across the street to the beach! Make sure to rinse your feet off immediately, there are sand fleas.
