a nice, quirky place. It's a few rooms in a bigger apartment building. Ours had cool directions. The bathroom was nice, and even had a blue light for nights. The area good--literally steps from the Vatican, and close to restaurants and markets. It's also close to a bus line to tourist sites but we didn't use that. The host mostly communicated via Whatsapp, but that worked well and we met her when she came by to clean the rooms.

JE RECOMMANDE SANS HÉSITATION ! j’y ai passé une nuit le 19 septembre 2022 et je n’ai que du positif à dire ! On voit place St-Pierre de la fenêtre de la chambre, c’est à 5 min à pieds ! Super accueil chaleureux de Paula qui m’a fait faire le tour, expliqué chaque détails tel que la façon de débarrer les portes et utiliser l’ascenseur typique. Jusqu’à comment ouvrir la fenêtre de ma chambre qui n’est pas le même système que nous au Canada. J’ai même pu laisser mes bagages dans la journée après mon checkout du 20 sept pendant que je suis allée visiter le Colisée et elle m’a guidé sur la meilleure app pour booker des activités à Rome ! La propreté super ! Confort du lit super ! J’ai déjà recommandé la place à 3 voyageurs ! MERCI POUR TOUT !!! Gracie!! Thank you Paula !

Great communication, suggestions, and overall ease! This location had a small elevator that fit 2 people with a bag each. There are a few stairs from the street entrance to the location of the elevator. The bed was very comfortable!

Planned a 17 day graduation trip for our son. Our family stayed at a variety of accommodations, but Pope's Window was definitely our favorite! They hit all the marks with cleanliness, a comfortable mattresses, great bedding quality, a beautifully decorated space, amazing balcony view but Paola turned our stay to an amazing experience! She reached out a couple of days prior to welcome us and met us in person at check in. We were only in Rome for a day, so she suggested her favorite dinner and breakfast spots which were amazing, helped with understanding how to get around the city/to the airport and the popular spots to make the most of the time we had to enjoy the city. There are lots of great hotels out there, but the people with passion, that care about their guests make all the difference!

Nice place! It was quiet and clean! The owner was very friendly and helpful. It’s conveniently located near the Vatican. The taxi stand was just across the street. There are numerous restaurants and bars (coffee shops) within a five minute walk.

I had a wonderful stay at The Pope's Window. Close to the Vatican, food, and a shopping mall. I was alone and felt extremely safe walking around the area at night. Paola was an excellent host. There was a wifi connection problem but she was very accommodating and took the time to give me directions on how to get around. I took the bus to the square to see the Pantheon and the Trevi fountain. It was super convenient. The room was super clean and I had access to a TV and air-conditioning. Paolo recommended a great restaurant Cresi for breakfast. I had such a good time that I hope to visit again!

I recently stayed at this hotel and was disappointed with my experience. While I understand that it's a budget-friendly option, I still expected a certain level of quality and service. Unfortunately, the room was not suitable for the number of guests it was advertised to accommodate. The check-in process was also more complicated than necessary, requiring us to wait for the admin to respond to our messages. Upon entering the room, I was surprised to find that it was not clean and tidy. The refrigerator had leftover food from previous guests, the floor was dirty, and the balcony was in a poor state. When I brought these issues to the attention of the admin, they did not take responsibility for the cleanliness of the room and only partially addressed the issues. The bathroom was also lacking in basic amenities, such as towels and hand soap. I had to go out and purchase these items myself, which was inconvenient. The bathroom features and amenities were also subpar, with a broken shower and low water pressure. The internet connection in the room was slow and unreliable, and stopped working altogether towards the end of my stay. When I reported this issue, I did not receive a response from the admin. Overall, I was disappointed with my stay at this hotel and would not recommend it to others.

Our host Paola was wonderful. I loved the charm and cleanliness of our apartment and Paola was available for anything we needed. Bust stop and other shopping available right in the neighborhood with Vatican City 2 blocks away. We thoroughtly enjoyed our stay and will not hesitate to use the Pope's Window for our next trip to Rome.

Great location to visit the Vatican, just 5 minutes walk. Paola the hostess was really helpful responding all our questions and concerns. The place was clean and spacious. My only suggestion is about the breakfast .. It is not breakfast bit a really good coffee. I will be back for sure. Paola makes the difference.

Pros: good location, easy walk to the Vatican, nice cafe’s and restaurants nearby, spacious room, good a/c. Cons: no one on site when we arrived (mid morning) or checked out, the B&B shared space was dark and gloomy (shutters closed), our room smelled musty, the shower door was dangerously flimsy (with a handwritten warning note advising to open gently), comfy bed but only two very flat pillows. Paola communicated well by text and did give us a few good restaurant recommendations. All in all, the location was a plus but the room was average. Wouldn’t return.

Wunderschön gelegen, Supermarkt ein paar Gehminuten entfernt, der Vatikan in ein paar Minuten erreicht, Bushaltestelle direkt vor der Tür und grossartige Cafés. Aufenthalt war super unkompliziert, Francesco steht jederzeit für Fragen per WhatsApp zur Verfügung. Jederzeit wieder!!

The only problem was having to use Whatsapp to get into the room. I had been sent the instructions on my email the night before, but I hadn't had wifi all day or even knew to check my email. It's just worth knowing this isn't a hotel with a staff, this is a Airbnb situation with a completely remote host

Great communication, suggestions, and overall ease! This location had a small elevator that fit 2 people with a bag each. There are a few stairs from the street entrance to the location of the elevator. The bed was very comfortable!

Good location. Cumbersome check-in, basic room, misleading and missing information on the booking site (e.g. no mention of “late” check-in and luggage storage fees at time of booking)… If you check-in after 9:00 p.m., you are charged €15; if you arrive after 10:30 p.m., you pay an extra €25. It is unlikely that I will not return to this property.

Everything was fine, but I didn't know what AirB&B was. I thought it was a hotel. I was traveling and didn't have internet... I thought I might arrive late, I had already paid for the night... but nobody opened the door for me... the building was closed. I couldn't communicate.

Nice place! It was quiet and clean! The owner was very friendly and helpful. It’s conveniently located near the Vatican. The taxi stand was just across the street. There are numerous restaurants and bars (coffee shops) within a five minute walk.

I had a wonderful stay at The Pope's Window. Close to the Vatican, food, and a shopping mall. I was alone and felt extremely safe walking around the area at night. Paola was an excellent host. There was a wifi connection problem but she was very accommodating and took the time to give me directions on how to get around. I took the bus to the square to see the Pantheon and the Trevi fountain. It was super convenient. The room was super clean and I had access to a TV and air-conditioning. Paolo recommended a great restaurant Cresi for breakfast. I had such a good time that I hope to visit again!

Very nice host. The location is very walkable to the Vatican City and there is a bus stop right across the street that goes to city center of Rome. The building is a bit old but the rooms are cleaned everyday.

Planned a 17 day graduation trip for our son. Our family stayed at a variety of accommodations, but Pope's Window was definitely our favorite! They hit all the marks with cleanliness, a comfortable mattresses, great bedding quality, a beautifully decorated space, amazing balcony view but Paola turned our stay to an amazing experience! She reached out a couple of days prior to welcome us and met us in person at check in. We were only in Rome for a day, so she suggested her favorite dinner and breakfast spots which were amazing, helped with understanding how to get around the city/to the airport and the popular spots to make the most of the time we had to enjoy the city. There are lots of great hotels out there, but the people with passion, that care about their guests make all the difference!

a nice, quirky place. It's a few rooms in a bigger apartment building. Ours had cool directions. The bathroom was nice, and even had a blue light for nights. The area good--literally steps from the Vatican, and close to restaurants and markets. It's also close to a bus line to tourist sites but we didn't use that. The host mostly communicated via Whatsapp, but that worked well and we met her when she came by to clean the rooms.

Great location to visit the Vatican, just 5 minutes walk. Paola the hostess was really helpful responding all our questions and concerns. The place was clean and spacious. My only suggestion is about the breakfast .. It is not breakfast bit a really good coffee. I will be back for sure. Paola makes the difference.

The room was great except you can hear the pkumbing from the other rooms but nothing too bothersome it was very clean and very close to the St. Peters Basilica. A less than 5 min walk.
