Stayed 6 nights

I have done a fair bit of traveling and stayed at many hotels, inns, and hostels over the years…and I can confidently say this may have been the worst stay of them all. The location is fine; it’s close to many shops and restaurants. And it’s across a small street from the beach. Those are the only positives I can mention. I would like to first mention that I am very affectionate towards animals and I love dogs. HOWEVER, a hotel is not the place for a dog to live. I’m not talking about a guest traveling with their dog. I’m referring to the 3 little dogs (they appeared to be Yorkies) that were residing in the common areas of the hotel, to include areas right outside the guest rooms. Again, I love dogs, but these little maniacs would bark at any and all hours of the day and night, often with zero intervention from anyone. I complained about the noise on multiple occasions to the “staff” and on the one occasion they did anything about it, they stuffed the dogs into a guest room (seemingly used as a storage room) that was right next to mine! I like to read the fine print of property listings and I did not see any mention of dogs residing in the hotel, which is an unacceptable oversight (but likely an intentional one by the hotel ownership). These dogs barked constantly and were a severe disturbance day and night. If I had known these dogs were present I would never have booked here. The rooms are NOT sound proofed at all, and the beds have cheap foam mattresses (NOT memory foam).

Stayed 4 nights

Stället var ganska slitet, personalen svår att få tag på. 3 skällande hundar sprang runt i hotellet och även kissade på golvet, ganska osmakligt. Läget väldigt bra, nära till allt och gångavstånd till/från färjan.
