we were charged 1200 pesos for a 5 min transfer from the air port to the hotel. On booking it was advertised that this was a courtesy transfer but in flight the hotel sent an email advising of the cost which we didn't receive until we had undertaken the transfer. We were not advised of the cost by the driver. We caught a taxi from the hotel to the airport for 100 peso the next morning. This appears to be a clear ripoff by the hotel.

Ive stayed here a couple of times, close to airport, clean and convenient within Rockport City. its reasonably priced, pleasant staff. to me the only downsides is the pool has very limited sunlight and i found the lighting in the corridors on each floor wasnt very bright but other than that no issues.

Walkable to Runway Manila for those that do not require handicap assistance. Issues with key card to room. Took three different requests before key card was reprogrammed. Unfortunate as elderly family member needed to use comfort room. Front desk manager eventually got involved and compensated with breakfast meals for inconvenience. Appreciate view of airport terminal 3.

We were quickly received at the reception. Staff were courteous. Wifi is spotty at times. They gave a username & password but you can connect to their wifi without these so it felt unsecured. We booked the suite with a runway view. Room was spotless & spacious. Bed was comfy. AC is good. TV is working properly. View of the NAIA runway was good, however, we couldn't see the plane's actual take off or landing. View from the room can only see the plane taxiing down the runway. Complete with amenities and has snacks (1 packet of oreo cookies, 1 small bag of chips, 1 coke in can, 1 bottle of OJ) for freebies! Has hot water for the shower and the water pressure is strong, it was great! Pool is half indoor and is shaded by its building. Has a kiddie pool. It is not heated so it was really difficult to swim or just soak in the pool for a long time because the water is too cold, plus when we went there, the weather is cold. I think the water is perfect if you go during the summer. Pool is elevated & one side of it doesn't have any barriers, but the lifeguard on duty mentioned this to us as a precaution. Pool towels available. Breakfast buffet was surprisingly good, has a great spread of menu, and food is tasty! Several tables available. Overall, we had a great stay & we were given a complimentary dessert for our anniversary. Rating this hotel only 4 stars because the pool isn't heated & you couldn't really see the plane taking off and landing in their suite with a runway view.

The bathroom toilet was not flushed properly when I checked into my room. There was urine and flakes and it was very disgusting. The hotel lobby smells bad. I thought it was just the time I went in but it was like that the whole night. The worst part of this stay was the staff. The staff were very rude and unprofessional when discussing my accommodations. I understand there are rules but maybe make sure all your staff is properly trained before they give me different answers. I documented everything very well. Also, there are a lot of foreigners who stay at this hotel and bring in random people O.O (…. maybe it was just the night I stayed) but yeah definitely not your typical 4 star. Overall, the worst hotel experience of my life and will never come back.

The first room we got is unsatisfactory because the bathroom was smelly, it wasn’t cleaned at all. The hallway/ room smelled like MOLD. Very unhealthy. The building doesn’t have enough ventilation. Picture in the ad looks nice but it’s deceiving, room doesn’t have enough space, it’s cramped.

Staff are friendly. The reason for the 3 atar rate ia because the rooms aren’t very clean, it smells funky that makes it not so relaxing to stay in the room. We had been staying here quite few times thinking we just got unlucky but even the following week of checking in,nothing changed, still the same smell regardless of the room.

21時半から2Fでライブを始めると言う無神経さ。翌朝早いから空港付近のホテルに泊まるのに、夜にホテル内ライブをやらせるなど論外。クレーム入れたら音量を下げさせますって、止めるのが普通でしょう。部屋を変えましょうと提案はあるものの、ダブルからシングルにってダウングレードさせようとするしで。最終的に高層階のダブルに移動しましたが、1時間以上を無駄にしました。

The hotel location is convenient and close to the airport. We have stayed at this hotel before and it is showing some wear and tear in some areas of the property. The room that we were given on the 4th floor did not have any hot water. But since we were only staying for 1 night, it wasn’t worth the bother of requesting to move to another room. We also found the mattress of the bed to be on the soft side. I suppose it is a personal reference when it comes to the firmness of the bed. On the positive note, all staff are friendly and polite.

This is the 4th time we stay at this hotel before our flight from Manila. The hotel is a bit old and worn out but the service is excellent and still worth the stay. This time though we had room 2001 on the second floor facing the main road which was very noisy during the day and during the night. Maybe next time we'll try a different hotel in the area.

I checked in at Savoy again for the final days of my trip. The check-in started out polite and pleasant after a short wait in line, but the experience changed drastically mid-process. While I was signing the registration documents, another guest pushed in from the side. Instead of asking the other guest to wait, I was physically squeezed out of the counter space. As a result, I had to step aside and rejoin the queue, even though I was already in the middle of my check-in and only needed the room key. After waiting another 10–15 minutes, I finally received my key — without any apology or acknowledgment of what had happened. This was easily the most uncomfortable and disrespectful check-in experience I have had at any hotel. For a hotel of this category, basic queue management and guest handling should be a given.

This took a great deal of time, resulting in my having to wait in line for more than 30 minutes before I could check in. This is my 2nd time at Savoy. My first stay left a better impression compared to the 2nd time around. This time the check-in was a bit chaotic, longer time wait, it seems there were limited Staff at the reception ( this was on 1/11/26 noontime). There was no one who offered assistance managing the luggage. The room on the 3rd floor (3030) has less desirable view. The shower floor needs some update— it did not look clean enough to encourage a shower. The amenities were adequate though (toiletries, coffee/tea, bottled water, small ref). Room service was answered by a very nice and pleasant lady; delivery of food was quick, and the food temperature was on point. The food itself was not as good as the last time: the wild mushroom soup was really bland; the fish & chips— the chips (french fries) was nice, the fish— a disappointment—it was thickly covered in batter that i could not even taste the fish at all. The creme brulee was good enough. I paid 1030 pesos for the food but I was more satisfied with the siopao I bought at the airport for 250 pesos. I came back here at Savoy because my previous experience was really nice; sadly, I will have to look for another accommodation the next time I come to visit.

Poor customer service from the guard, front desk agent to the host of the restaurant. The guard doesn’t offer to assist with your luggage, just looking at you. The front desk did not swipe my credit card for incidentals and called the safe is not working nobody fixed it.

Overall, everything was okay, including the private airport van. However, there was an issue with the room service. Upon checking in, the receptionist mentioned that they would follow up on the bath towel, but an hour later, it still hadn’t arrived. I called the Guest Relations Team about the towel, and they said they would contact someone shortly. However, after a few hours, it still hadn’t been delivered. Fortunately, I came across a supply staff member on my way out for dinner and requested a towel. He handed me one and apologized, saying he was already tired and that it was the only towel left. I also called the Guest Relations Team again to request assistance with picking up the luggage at exactly 11:40 a.m. and a van for 11:45 a.m., but the concierge arrived at 11:50, and the van still hadn’t been arranged. But overall, most staffs we're great like the host of the breakfast buffet, the front desk of the pool and gym, and the other guy at the reception upon checking out.

The Staff stood out for their amazing customer service. We arrived on time in NAIA Manila but there was a long and crowded line for customs to check us thru and one of Savoy Hotel Manila Team waited for more than one hour for us and kept the hotel updated as we requested a pick up from the airport. The front desk personnel checked us in right away and even reserved us another drop off transport as we have to leave early to the airport for another flight out to El Nido, Palawan. The room was clean although the space was a little small - it served it's purpose for a quick respite after a long flight.

I have a wonderful experience with SAVoy Hotel. However, just like everybody’s issues was the lack of Filipino basic breakfast such as longanisa and tocino and champorado. Otherwise, breakfast selections were pretty good. Fast response to any request except I did not get the requested scissors to cut the rope for my box.
