Goyarra in Rye

Disappointed Our booking and check in started off great. The house is so lovely and amenities were amazing. Kitchen is well equiped which was great. Then things went down hill from there. We had a very concerning and frightening security issue on the first night we were there, with the front door opening on its own and not locking or closing properly. At first we thought someone was breaking in. We then discovered one of the fly screens had been pulled off from a side bedroom window. We tried to report this issue and make contact many times but were not answered to. An \'urgent\' inquiries phone number was given which we made several attempts to call. An email was also sent. We then had the call returned over 12 hours later (missed it unfortunately) and a voicemail was left asking us not to call that number "unless we absolutely had to". Yet in the welcome email when we checked in, as well as the compendium provided at the property it was stated "please do not hesitate to reach out if you need anything at all".With the same phone number provided. Several attempts were made to return that voicemail to discuss the security issue but all left unanswered and not returned.Very upset and very disappointed with the security to the property and lack of ability to make contact and report it or be able to communicate with anyone. Let down

Very good, no problems. Communication good.. position is not optimal.. ie you can’t really walk anywhere except there is a hidden open area perfect for dogs off leash within a 5 min walk. Perfect for what we wanted
