Very good hotel with a good and reasonably priced restaurant on the premises. The security staff was very helpful when I wanted to store some currency for safekeeping. The room was clean and had all the amenities that I needed.

An iconic city hotel. Great location for city excursions. Staff really kind and helpful and generally quite clean. However the place is quite dated. Creaking floors, wobbly toilet seats. Tiny tiny bathroom. Could do with a makeover to modernise and make current.

I enjoyed my stay at rainbow .the rooms were clean and staff was always ready to help with smile on their faces.Breakfast was good really enjoyed it Well done and thumbs up to all the staff xxxx

The hotel is conveniently located in the central CBD. Staff is always helpful. However, the hotel rooms can do with updates - I have stayed at the hotel a few times and I find the rooms have electric plugs coming off the walls, bulbs not working, wardrobes are old and now give off that old smell. I lived off my suitcase as I feared the transfer of the wardrobe smell to my clothes. Shower was draining very slowly until I notified reception, they promptly attended to it. Bedroom walls had smudges which appeared cleanable. Room entrance door quality is below standard, it feels like the doors can be pushed open. Bathroom had the sink too close to the loo and general quality of fittings is below standard. Great hotel but TLC in rooms is overdue!!!
