The Marlin Hotel

Koselig liten hotell. Hotelet er fra 1939. Ligger Mitt på Miami beach. Du kan leie en sykel rundt forbi. Sykle til sør point og se på cruise som forlater Miami. Vi hadde stort fint rom i andre etg. Stort bad. Gode senger. Frokosten var ok. Vi bodde på Marlin en natt etter cruise i karibien før hjemme reise. Legg merke til ekstra gebyrer hotelet tar. Ca. 500kr ekstra til selve prisen på hotell.com. Miami har blitt veldig dyrt, maten hvor det er stort turist pågang er elendig og dyrt. Men Miami er gøy uansett. 😁

Had a lovely stay and would definitely stay again! John was extremely helpful upon our arrival in getting us set up quickly after a redeye. Easy access to the beach and includes a beach bag, beach towels, umbrellas and chairs. Their restaurant bar is great - our food and service lovely. Definitely recommend!

The hotel is in a great location in Miami Beach. One thing that really started off challenging was check in time being 4pm. The expectation would be to be in the room at 4pm. We arrived at 3:30 to get checked in and drop our bags off in the lobby and walk around the beach. They said the room wasn’t ready yet which was totally fine. We were told 4pm and the room would be ready which was the stated check in time on the website. We come back about 10 till sit down at the bar for a quick drink before the room opens only to be told the room isn’t ready at 4pm. We said okay. We would finish up our drinks. That turned into at 4:30 being told it’s going to be at least another half hour they hadn’t even been in our room. After traveling an entire day since 5am to not get into our room until 5:15 was extremely frustrating. We had dinner reservations for 6 so we had to scramble to get to our room and changed before heading out. The lead that could have been done is a comped beverage or something but we got nothing other than waiting an hour and 15 minutes past the stated check in time. Once we got past that the stay was good, beds were very very firm but the extremely delayed check in after travel started off the trip on a rocky footing.

We were given a parking pass at the building close by and the history of the building itself is amazing. The staff was very helpful. The decor was very eclectic and the overall stay was 10.
