A few days away with my 2 boys 17&15. Mixed stay Positives - amazing staff, very friendly and engaging, tasty food Negatives - tiny TV only the same size as a laptop, tight on fries portions, no leisure center open on site, no sports on bar tv Although the leisure center was available to us nearby it should be made known in the booking information that none onsite are open. The staff made the stay pleasurable, but some investment is needed, like a decent tv and sports on in the bar tv

We have stayed at Kees hotel a number of times. We enjoy the food and entertainment when it is on in the bar. The hotel attracts a good number of people and is very well priced for weekend specials. The hotel really needs updated the rooms are very dated but clean and comfortable.The staff work very hard and are helpful and friendly.If you want an overnight stay with decent food and you can see past the decor it’s ideal.

Kee’s Hotel was a charming property conveniently located. We loved the grounds and the designated parking area. We had a delicious dinner in the hotel dining room and after dinner drinks in Harry’s Bar. Harry’s Bar was key since there is not really any nightlife in the town. The negative I would mention is lack of a lift. I saw many elderly struggling with the many stairs.

We enjoyed our stay. The atmosphere was good, however, the second night we were there it was very crowded in the bar area and we could not get a drink. This was not the hotels fault as there were scheduled parties

Kees hotel is family run and has been for over 150 years. The parking was very convenient off street, the hotel inside is very homely with several places to sit around and read or just relax. The rooms were clean, comfortable and perfect for our stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful, would definitely stay again. JK.

The property itself is not convenient when you have heavy luggage. The elevator goes to 2nd floor only then you have to go up and down the stairs.

The hotel was very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. This hotel has off-street parking at the property with easy access to the lobby. Breakfast service was good but not exceptional. The one big detractor for this hotel was the lack of adequate water pressure in the 200-series rooms; it wasn’t just our room we checked others. There is not enough pressure to get a shower and the access to the shower enclosure was very narrow; not suitable for larger persons

Staff all lovely, think we were unlucky with our room 219, room very small but clean and bed was comfortable. However there was a continuous noise, like an extractor fan, which went on until midnight then started again about 7am. The shower was not at all good, very little power. Breakfast provided a good choice and whilst kept in warming containers it was not overly warm. As I said staff were all really friendly and attentive.

Our stay wasn’t bad or great, the property could do with some updating, beds were uncomfortable. But they staff were great. We ate at the restaurant in the hotel food was good.

Loved our stay here. Room needs a bit of an update but was large and very comfortable. Bed was great and bathroom clean and bright. We dined in the restaurant and also enjoyed breakfast there. Absolutely no complaints. Would stay again in a heartbeat - tried to stay an extra night or two but was already fully booked.

Road front room, was extremely noisy with cars passing by. Two sockets in the room both were on the opposite side of the room to the bed. Only one of the tv stations was working

This hotel is not just a hotel—it’s an experience in wonderful family history, truly a JEWEL OF IRELAND with a genuine Irish experience. We stayed in 5 other hotels and not one of them matched the charm, beauty, and staff of this stunning hotel! We had six people in our group and they were incredibly accommodating! Fab hotel in a place i had never heard about. Small village but excellent hotel. Staff were great and breakfast was superb. Shouldnt say this but the Snug bar two doors up is also nice for an early tipple. Will come back next time in Ireland and thanks for a great stay

Hotel was ok, a bit run down. Evening meal was very disappointing no variety of vegetables, and cream of veg soup was powder soup. Waitress spent the whole time sniffing and coughing. Breakfast was buffet the first morning and quite good variety, however next morning no buffet and the reason was only a few guests, hence that speaks for itself. Very poor will not be back.
