Very friendly staff, if you see any issues or inconveniences especially in the pool area, just report them to the office and they are quick to take care of it. There was one guest that kept bringing his friends or family from the outside to use the jacuzzis, other guest from the resort wanted to use the Jacuzzis but we’re not able to at certain times due to that.The issue was reported and it was taken care of promptly. Certain guest think that they can abuse their stay, but that’s not how it works there.

Beautiful property, located away from touristy areas. Rooms (Maya) are nice. Showers could have been better (hot water, then all of a sudden cold). Pool was not heated, which was a negative. Staff were all cordial and accommodating. Good food served in the restaurant.

Property felt safe. Rooms met my needs. The pool is a under construction and renovation. I was not informed of this. The tennis courts were not opened due to a tournament. Again, no notification. Parking was sufficient. Security gates are a plus. The property itself was beautiful.

This place is absolutely beautiful. Sad part of our trip the pools were out of order. Maybe because it’s not summer and it’s kind of cold. But the pool would of been a good amenity. Another thing not so happy about is we got the bottom from and we could hear every single step the person on the top took. The property feels really safe to be in the. To get in they take your car information and they give you a parking permit. Before you get to the area where the room are at you have to stop by two security guards. That’s comforting. The property is big and beautiful. Absolutely recommend. Family friendly.

Hotel Estero Beach no le gusto tanto , es bonito el lugar por fuera , cerca al mar con vista muy bonita , pero la habitación por dentro está muy vieja , el piso estaba sucio , había polvo en las mesitas , en las lámparas . El baño tenía la regadera ya muy desgastada y oxidada. Honestamente me descepciono. Al restaurante por supuesto que regreso tienen una excelente atención y el desayuno estuvo muy rico .

I've been visiting this resort for over 15 years and I still love it—the facilities, the food, everything! The only downside this time was that the bathroom had mold on the walls due to a lack of cleaning. The rooms aren't modern, but they're not unattractive either—they're comfortable, which is why I feel they should take care of these small details.

Las instalaciones están demasiado descuidadas, había hormigas por todo el cuarto, todo está muy viejo, el precio es elevado para lo que se ofrece, el personal fue amable pero no pudimos descansar debido a las condiciones tan pobres del lugar, nos llevaron un spray para fumigar nosotros mismos, con miedo ya que llevábamos un bebé y también había hormigas en la cama, el agua completamente salada no pudimos bañar a nuestra bebé y optamos por comprar agua para poder lavarnos los dientes

***!!!*** WARNING ***!!*** This property bathrooms disperse salt water and shut off intermittently ***!!!*** WARNING ***!!*** Stayed here recently with the family and young children. The property is 30 minutes from Ensenada and nestled in an older compound with a LONG entry way. Which is great for security , but a pain to get in an out unless you plan on spending entire time being bored there. The property itself is older , but maintained. The rooms are decent but could use an upgrade. On to the biggest issues , since had we know we\'d have NOT BOOKED. The entire resort uses SALT WATER. The seawater in the shabby beach is actually sweeter. At least there your guaranteed continuous water flow. It was a MAJOR INCONVIENCE having to shower 3 children with shampoo in their eyes , with the water shutting off randomly. What normally would take 5 min now puts you as hostage at the showers will. One evening literally took over an hour to shower (COLD salt water) the children. Even after "Rinsing" off the saltiness and soap residue really put a dampen on the entire stay. Not to mention the bugs and rats we saw around the property , but that\'s secondary to the Salt water. Furthermore the hotel management are FULLY AWARE of the issue and would not cooperate let alone work with us. Thankfully we wont be visiting ever again. If you do get stuck coming here be for warned and buckle up for a nightmare in Ensenada. Good luck!!

We absolutely love the view from our room the convenience of down town. The 2 down falls of the place we experienced was the bed it was not comfortable by any standards and our AC was leaking water alot my wife wasn’t to happy with the bathroom a little out dated with the shower and tub. I would stay again the staff were amazing the pool was beautiful the views are awesome

The photo of the room does not match the actual room. For example, the pic showed tile floors but the room was carpeted. Bathroom is old with cracked tiles and the water feels and tastes like saltwater. The resort overall is very nice but the rooms are antiquated. Our room in particular had a non working phone & non working wall outlets. No fridge in the room. Housekeeping was inconsistent. This resort is best for hanging out outside of the room by the pool.

My family and I love this place. However, I feel that for the price I pay the facilities should be updated. Our room was very convenient since it was direct access to the pool, but these rooms have not been updated so it is run down, (light bulb was out, the restroom very outdated and run down) The other issue is the salty water! I didn't ask why the faucet water is salty, so when you bathe you don't feel completely clean :(

This property was overall very nice and the front desk was very helpful in doing the surprise for my fiancé. The prices for the food and drinks felt like Vegas prices though. The area felt safe and is very walkable. But i dont know, the service as far as bar staff and security could have been nicer

The stay here started off great. The check-in process was quick and easy, and someone came out to the parking lot to help us with our bags. The pool area was great for the kids, and the view of the ocean was breathtaking. Unfortunately, the service at the restaurant was terrible, with a long wait time during our dining experience. On our second night, it went from bad to worse. We arrived at the pool area with our children at about 6:45 pm and asked to see a menu for the restaurant, which we received within minutes. However, trying to place an order was a nightmare. My wife and I tried walking to the restaurant 4 different times to place our food order, only to be told to go back to the pool area and wait for a waiter. However, the waiter never showed up. At 10:15 pm, I walked into the restaurant to speak to the manager and was directed to "Mauricio". I explained to him that we had been waiting for food for close to 4 hours, to which he responded, "he was too busy for us". To be clear, this is the only option for food at the resort, and thanks to Mauricio, my children did not eat that night. Mauricio was rude and offered no solution to the problem besides giving him "5 minutes," which we heard over an hour before that. The staff at the hotel was GREAT, especially Mario at the pool area, who came over and apologized to me and let me know that the restaurant was out of his control. I would consider going back but would spend my money on food outside.

It is always so easy to get checked in and stay here. The staff are all very attentive, friendly and polite. The restaurant is great and gives us peace of mind about safe food and drinks. We keep coming back and recommend Estero Beach to everyone!

Loved our stay here! The AC broke in our room and when I reported it they changed our room immediately. The service was very responsive and our stay was pleasant and peaceful. The pool is great, along with the private beach. We will come back!

The Dirt road leading into main entrance of the " RESORT" is not inviting at all. The toilet in restroom did not flush properly an marble floor inside looked weathered and was slippery. TV reception offered limited amount of channels with good reception.

The resort was amazing but wasn't close to the centro where the action is. However, once you enter the resort, you can forget the long drive, and just smile and relax away.The views were spectacular. The room was cozy (not modern, a but outdated as was the tv) but it was spacious and has everything you need. They have a few jacuzzi's and a large pool area. The outside decor was beautiful accompanied by nature and singing birds all over. I have to especially say that the front desk/customer service was AWESOME. I'd stay here again hands down.

The showers don't always work and all the water that comes off of all the faucets and shower is salt water. The property is nice and spacious Is like a big compound. But it's about a 30 minute drive to the city center and tourist areas where the good restaurants and shops are

Our stay at Estero Beach Hotel was great. We visited for two nights from San Diego. The facility is very very clean and quiet, away from the noise of the city. It faces a beautiful inlet of the ocean with a view of the sunset and pelicans feeding in the morning. We only ate at the restaurant for breakfast but the food was really good. It also felt very safe all around with good security and secure parking lots. The staff is really nice too. The only thing is that the bedding and towels are a little bit old so the bed sheets and pillows were not that comfortable, but other than that we really enjoyed our stay and would be back. The pool and jacuzzis were amazing and there are lots of beach lounge chairs to sit by the pool or face the ocean.

The hotel is well kept and nice in general. Great service by the staff; they were all kind and attentive. Wish it had more dining options or at least the restaurant wasn’t as expensive to dine in.

El hotel es muy bonito, el servicio es muy bueno y el personal es muy amable. Las habitaciones muy limpias, igual que las áreas comunes. Las vistas al mar son maravillosas y los jardines están muy bien cuidados. Lo único malo es que los precios del restaurante son exorbitantes. Considerando que no hay lugares cercanos donde abastecerse, esto es un problema. Por lo demás, ampliamente recomendado.

The stay here started off great. The check-in process was quick and easy, and someone came out to the parking lot to help us with our bags. The pool area was great for the kids, and the view of the ocean was breathtaking. Unfortunately, the service at the restaurant was terrible, with a long wait time during our dining experience. On our second night, it went from bad to worse. We arrived at the pool area with our children at about 6:45 pm and asked to see a menu for the restaurant, which we received within minutes. However, trying to place an order was a nightmare. My wife and I tried walking to the restaurant 4 different times to place our food order, only to be told to go back to the pool area and wait for a waiter. However, the waiter never showed up. At 10:15 pm, I walked into the restaurant to speak to the manager and was directed to "Mauricio". I explained to him that we had been waiting for food for close to 4 hours, to which he responded, "he was too busy for us". To be clear, this is the only option for food at the resort, and thanks to Mauricio, my children did not eat that night. Mauricio was rude and offered no solution to the problem besides giving him "5 minutes," which we heard over an hour before that. The staff at the hotel was GREAT, especially Mario at the pool area, who came over and apologized to me and let me know that the restaurant was out of his control. I would consider going back but would spend my money on food outside.

We stayed at Estero Beach Hotel & Resort for 7 nights and had a mixed experience. The resort itself is nice, peaceful, and (most of!) the staff were wonderful—friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We especially appreciated how the front desk handled the issues with our first room. We booked a Tikal Room advertised as a garden-view room, but ours actually faced the parking lot. The room also had several maintenance issues: the balcony screen door was broken, the bathtub faucet continuously ran, the bathroom lights kept turning on and off, and the Wi-Fi didn’t work. Overall, the room felt dated and in need of maintenance. We brought this to the front desk, and they offered us a complimentary upgrade starting on our fourth day. We were very grateful for that, as the new room was amazing and significantly improved our stay. A few things future guests should know: the resort is a bit far from Ensenada, which you likely know ahead of time, so transportation costs can add up. Food and drinks are also not included, so between dining and transportation, we spent more than expected. The gym was another disappointment—it is very outdated, with random hodge podge equipment, and no air, towels, or water. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. With some investment in room maintenance, the gym, and updating the resort, this could be an exceptional place to stay.

We took our grandson with us and we had a wonderful time! We were poolside most of the time. The views and hospitality were amazing! Staff were always so helpful and the food was great! Will be back soon!

We would of easily give five stars to this resort. But the wifi doesn't work. No wifi in the room and some outside the room. The staff indicated the attena has been been fixed for over 6 months. This is extremely poor service to their guest. For many of us, having Internet access is important especially since we don't have local service in the area. So, not smart tv services in the room as well
