Garden Cellar - Kalamata Mediterranean Villas

This home was well maintained and spotless - the pool was lovely and the kitchen well stocked. Beds are comfortable and there is a lot of space! Short walk to both beach and Kalamata city center on a quiet street with plenty of parking - a car is a must in Kalamata to really explore! While there is air conditioning, it is limited to 24c (75 degrees) and gets quite warm at night. This is standard for pretty much everywhere in Kalamata and a lot of Greece, even resort hotels - but travelers from US should know. Some fans might help air movement, as it does get a bit humid.

The owners were very accommodating and welcoming. The rental had a very home atmosphere which we enjoyed very much. The beds were very comfortable and all rooms very clean. The pool is heated and perfect for a family to enjoy as well as a beautiful garden with a lemon tree. Very short walk to a very large market and to the beach lined with restaurants. We would love to stay again in the future.
