Stayed 1 night

A property that is full of character and a wonderful staff makes this a great place to stay. For 2 nights, I stayed in a courtyard room which was perfect as a solo traveler. The room was warm and cozy which is saying a lot for a North American traveler visiting NZ in the wintertime. John and Deb were always around to answer my questions. I had a car so it was easy to visit all the little shops and tour companies further down the street. In my room I had a refrigerator and a well stocked drink center: tea, coffee and hot chocolate There are so many lodging options in Kaikoura, you should treat yourself to one that has character, good design, and a welcoming staff.
