The property was old. There was nothing to make tea or coffee. The sheets had dirty marks on them. They also had small holes in them. The property was close to the train tracks.

I think someone was in my room right before I arrived. The tv, mamp & a/c were on & there was trash in the trash can. Other than that, it was great. No one was at the front desk this morning to tell. The room has been updated.

Lindsay the lady at the front desk was fantastic. She was able to find me a room for early check in since I had arrived at 11:00 am for a 1:00 pm funeral and needed to shower and change. She was amazing. She also found me some ice that night when I got back to my room and wanted to have a drink because the facility doesn't actually have an ice machine which is something they need to address is my opinion.

We stayed here for 2 nights while in town for a gun show in Briggs. There is no other place to stay anywhere around there, so we were fine with this little motel. Check in was super easy & my husband said the lady at the front desk was very nice. The motel is definitely dated, but very clean. The shower was good, the AC worked great, the bed was slightly uncomfortable (but for sure not the worst bed we've ever slept in at a hotel/motel). The bathroom vanity/countertop was pulled away from the wall & there was a pretty good gap between the vanity & the wall where it has been gouped up with caulk several times, & our bedspread had some small holes in it, but otherwise everything was good. There was some type of antique car show in town apparently, because there were numerous Fieros in the parking lot, and when all of the guys that drove them returned, we could hear them outside pretty loudly, & through the walls too. I'm sad to know that a car that was new when I was in high school is an antique!! Also, there is no Keurig or mini coffee pot in the rooms---you have to use the Keurig in the office.

This unassuming vintage property is very clean and right in town. The manager was beyond nice, and accommodated our requests. It's not the Ritz Carlton, but it doesn't claim to be in Bertram, and who expects that. It's a one block walk to The Standard on Vaugh, which is an excellent restaurant you would expect to find in a big city like Austin, Dallas, San Antonio, etc. I was thinking Bertram was a good Chicken-Fried-Steak & Beer town, but instead we had Duck Confit, Sea Bass, Salmon & Espresso Martini's. The 1935 Globe Theater was a great venue for a live show, and one block beyond. Have a nightcap and two blocks walk home to the hotel and you are set. I'd be glad to stay there again.

I sprayed Lysol on ever surface ! appArently the motel was being updated and remodeled but our room was nasty. I’m telling you, Just don’t rent here ! … probably the worst motel I have ever been in ! The walls in the bathroom were a little dirty. It was nice the hotel offered a “family room” with three beds as we have a big family. The couple that runs the front desk is very nice and check in was quick! The room overall was clean.

Paid a very high price but was in the town my daughter had just moved to. Bed had sponge mattress. No anti skid mst in bathroom tub. It was ok but not a place to stay if you want quality.

Good stay. Clean but only 1 towel in bathroom, no washcloth, no hand towels. I only have a shower at home and was looking forward to taking a bath. Disappointed in the fact there was no stopper for the bathtub

Very friendly & helpful lady at the desk, Lori. The bed was very nice & comfortable. Coffee was good in the office. There were no hangers or a place for luggage to be off the floor. The plug by the sink did not work. Finding the hot water in the shower was very tricky. Hot & Cold plate was upside down. No plug in tub to take a bath. We were there 3 nights & 2 were very noisy. Overall it was ok. Room 105 needs some TLC.

There was some type of antique car show in town apparently, because there were numerous Fieros in the parking lot, and when all of the guys that drove them returned, we could hear them outside pretty loudly, & through the walls too. I'm sad to know that a car that was new when I was in high school is an antique!! Also, there is no Keurig or mini coffee pot in the rooms---you have to use the Keurig in the office.

We had no problems during our stay. Staff was friendly, helpful, and on it. Another guest had some sort of malfunction screaming and slamming doors. Staff promptly intervened to eliminate the situation. It was our second stay and I am sute we will continue to use this location in the future.

MaryJane was extremely welcoming and friendly. The bed was comfortable and I really appreciated have a dark designated cloth to remove makeup. I recommend Cedar Creek Inn to anyone traveling to Bertram.

I had a horrible night's sleep because I was awakened at 2:00 AM with a dripping noise behind the wall behind the headboard. There was no apparent water coming into the room, but the LOUD incessant dripping kept me awake. Next morning when I went to the lobby to check out and alert the desk clerk about the situation, he was not to be found.

The property was well-lighted making it easy to find at night. I stayed at the property during the recent cold snap here in Texas. We needed to find two additional rooms after the first night due to water pipe breaks in two houses as a result of the freezing weather. Susan, the desk manager, provided excellent support in meeting my needs during our stay. The rooms were clean and in very good condition, but the service was absolutely top-notch. I would stay here again when I'm in the area.
