We really had a great time. The room was comfortable and clean and breakfast was excellent. The bus service in and out of Canterbury and around Kent was perfect. We will definitely do this again. It was wonderful value for money we really enjoyed it.

Bathroom has mould and smells really bad and my son developed allergies. He went there for his exams days. He completed many times but no response. Very poor customer service.

We had a pleasant stay at Tyler Court. The receptionists were friendly, the room was clean and quiet, and the breakfast was excellent.

As former graduates, we were naturally delighted to be able to stay once more on the campus of the University of Kent (at Canterbury), UKC. It's certainly developed the intervening 53 years! We were particularly impressed by how the University has been able to put key buildings into every available space, without making the site feel overcrowded. The freezing winds, whistling directly from Siberia, have now met their match in the (almost) completed campus. We were even able to go down to town for a curry; we got taxis, but the regular bus service is just as good. Our accommodation was certainly an improvement on what we left behind in 1972, with considerably better facilities in our student bedroom than we had been used to, including very generous cupboard space and a large double bed (presumably a nod to the fact that students have sex lives, which was never admitted in our day!). But for students to do anything more that study and copulate in their rooms, they could do with an extra chair or two so their friends can sit and chat; or a bed that they could sit on. Ours was far too high for that; indeed as 75 official old farts, we could barely climb up to go to sleep. So a small plea when re-equipping: smaller, lower double beds and more chairs. Other than that, we wouldn't want to change a thing. So excellent value for money, by no means the most luxurious place you could book in the Canterbury area but certainly the best value.
