the bathroom is renovated but the room is old. Also no airco in the rooms. The breakfast is good and the view on the valley is amazing. The parking is good and spacious, only the way up was a bit covered by branches on the last part. they need to clear up the road a bit more.

Mostly a good stay this is a good hotel with stunning views across the Ahr. Staff were very helpful and did a lot to support. The hotel is right on the winery walking track which is a great location. Views are spectacular.

Prachtig gelegen 'nostalgisch' hotel. Uitzicht magnifiek. We verbleven 3 nachten. Het ontbijt was lekker, voldoende aanwezig maar elke dag werd hetzelfde gepresenteerd. De ontbijtruimte ademt klassieke burgerlijkheid: heerlijk om te zitten; rustig. Goede veilige stalplaats voor de fietsen. Vriendelijk personeel. 's Avonds naar Ahrweiler gaan eten best met de auto (na 18u zijn veel parkings gratis) vanwege de steile helling terug. Het terras van het hotel zelf had een prachtig uitzicht maar was niet uitnodigend: bvb deur gesloten, geen kussens op de stoelen... Het aanpalende Weinterras was leuk zitten maar 's avonds niet verlicht. Ligt op de Rotweinwanderweg, fietsroutes... De Regierungsbunker is vlakbij. Je krijgt ook een Ahrkaart waarmee je gratis bus en trein kan nemen.
