Villa w/Private Pool & Sea View, 400 to the beach

The place was absolutely wonderful. Perfect in every way. I wish we could have stayed longer.

We have just returned from a fabulous stay at Villa Thea.. it was even better than it looked in the photos and the infinity pool with view down to the beach was stunning.. Desponia our host was there to greet us on arrival and very responsive during our stay. And having a maid service every other day made it feel as though we were staying in a hotel.. We are already looking to book again next year, would thoroughly recommend it.

We received a informational packet by email from the manager weeks before our stay, the packet was filled with valuable information and suggested we call Margarita, our host, after securing our rental car from the airport. She sent us coordinates for our GPS (google maps) that got us to the villa where Margarita was waiting for us. After showing us the villa and informing us that the food in the villa was for us as a welcome gift, Margarita left us but followed up with a text with directions to restaurants and supermarkets. We were tired from traveling and did not want to go out, to our surprise our welcome gift included everything we needed for dinner and breakfast including juice and coffee for the morning and wine for the evening. Thank you so much for the welcome gifts. We booked the villa at the end of a 10 day cruise with the idea of relaxing and getting away from the crowds on the ship. We could not have been happier with our choice. It was off season on Crete and the villa was a perfect base to explore the island, the first day we stayed in the villa and did laundry and relaxed, that evening we went to dinner at Petousis and enjoyed AntiKristo. The next day we drove into the mountains and found a wonderful restaurant, Delogo. The third day we considered going to the museum but opted not to due to the crowds, we drove along the coast and shopped for souvenirs. The next day we had to leave. Overall, the stay was what we wanted, relaxing in a beautiful villa.

Well organized, beautiful property, excellent location

I have to start off by stating that we had slight reservations about the overall size of the property as the photos made it look just a bit small, but once at the property those misgivings disappeared. The property is much roomier than the photos suggest and there is just about everything you would need for a family holiday. On arrival we were greeted by the amazing Margarita and a basket of goodies to tide us over. She always made herself available when needed, responded to every query, and fully resolved the few very minor issues that arose. Randomly dropping off a cake and a bottle of wine on two separate occasions was just one of the small touches that helped to make this a great holiday. The villa is really well furnished and provides everything you’d require for a self-catering break. The pool and outdoor area was larger than it looks online and it took some effort to drag our two teenagers away. The alternate-day cleaning and towel change made this feel more like a luxury hotel with everything kept fresh and clean. Prior to arriving, Manos was on hand to deal with any queries and I’d have no hesitation in booking another Villa with this company.
