This hotel was amazing. Simple yet refined. Rustic but elegant. Every detail was thought of. Great pool. I was surprised by how many children there were but it wasn’t too loud. The staff was so wonderful but the pool bar was quite slow. We ate at the tavern one night and it was delicious.

The hotel is amazing overall. Rooms are beautiful and nicely appointed, also quiet. Food is creative and delicious. Service is solid. Pool is beautiful with a cool bar. The location is perfect. One complaint is the water pressure in our shower was abysmal. Old building? Auberge should have fixed this, as it was barely enough to shower, but we may have just gotten a lesser room having booked through a third-party site. Regardless, I’d book again for sure. Great stay.

The Inn at Mattei's Tavern exceeded our expectations throughout our stay. The resort is beautiful, with great facilities and amenities. The rooms are large, comfortable, well-appointed with nice amenities. We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner at Mattei's Tavern and all of the meals were excellent. The diner experience was elevated with sophisticated food and was just excellent. Some of the best meals ever. We will be back.

Our room was glorious ...the bedding was so luxurious and comfortable. The food, wine and service was spectacular. Everything in town was walkable. Made many attempts to schedule a spa appointment, and neither on line or call in system seemed to work—but its a newer property and I’m sure that will get ironed out as they move forward.
