Absolutely great staff!!! Breakfast, the beautiful view, secluded rocks and beach away from the big crowds. Next to lovely bars/foodplaces; real easy to get into town. The cocktails are to die for. Missing it already… stayed for 10 days!

We almost didn't want to leave the property. It was so beautiful and relaxing to just hang at pool, bar, beachfront swimming area and restaurant. The staff was amazing (especially Oh (who enthusiastically greeted us, provided daily oversight of all staff, cleanliness and ambiance of poolside, bar and activities). We also particularly enjoyed the friendly bartender - Win. He was always smiling and enthusiastic. Although we don't know the names of the housekeepers for our rooms; they created a fantastic arrangement of beautiful flowers and towel art! These special touches (including a scented candle lit in our room upon arrival) were awesome!

Tolle Lage am Ende von lamai Beach mit sehr freundlichem Personal und Besitzern. Schöner Poolbereich, alles Top gepflegt. Fussläufig Restaurants, Supermarkt, Massagen erreichbar, das Hotel hat abends kein Essen. bequeme Betten, alles sehr sauber. Strandzugang über Felsen direkt möglich aber nichts für gehbehinderte, aber Wunderschöne Aussicht. insgesamt auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen.

Grear spot, great little boutique hotel. Well situated and snorkeling is amazing right next to the hotel's beach. Cons: The airport/port transport is NOT included. It's easy to make that mistake, we did it. We booked thinking it was included because of the way it was advertised. It's 690 baht. Which is not cheap at all. Another con, the pool needs a good scrubing. Not super clean.

What a find ! Amazing boutique hotel, never feels too busy despite its small appearance. Really good breakfast, the best ive had in Thailand. Rooms and bathroom are a good size. A/C works brilliant, Wifi fantastic. Bar good but hotel prices. Small but perfectly acceptable pool. Good location for restaurants on the roads outside. Also good for walks on the beach where there are bars and restaurants too. The views from the hotel are perfect. Staff are fantastic, super friendly, nothing is too much trouble. Sit on the adjacent rock and admire the views.

A very small resort where you are treated like royalty. Definitely get breakfast included as it is WAY cheaper than paying in person. So many great photo ops. All rooms face sunrise. 2nd floor has the best views. Great size balcony. Warm showers. They supply shampoo/conditioner, toothbrush/toothpaste etc. Fresh fruit gift on arrival with endless orchids decorating everything. The beach is about 2km long one way for beautiful walks. The swimming pool is nice for lounging. The pool towels are massive. They provided transport from the pier and was the same price they offer at the pier. Transportation to the airport was expensive, get your own taxi. The restraint off the main road is to die for.

Really lovely relaxing holiday. The staff are gorgeous & nothing is too much trouble. My only negative is that the access to the beach is rocky & a set of stairs would have made it so much more accessible.

My daughter and I have just returned from a 7 night stay this April and have had an amazing time. We loved everything about the Beluga and would highly recommend. Booking was easy and communication prompt and helpful. We stayed in the front double deluxe room which was clean and well serviced and had a great ocean view. What made our stay extra special was the wonderful team of staff who couldn’t have been anymore helpful. They went above and beyond to be welcoming and accomodating and the guys in the office were really helpful with organising trips, taxis and also offering local info and answering any questions we had. The Beluga is in a lovely location at the bottom end of Lamai beach. It’s very picturesque with the rocks in the water forming a little pools to have a dip in. It’s easy to walk a very short distance to the rest of the beach and have a proper swim. There is also a little hut adjacent to the hotel on the beach offering good priced massages. The Beluga felt like a very special small hotel and was really great value for money. Don’t be put off by the entrance as what lies beyond the initial walkway is just fabulous. Thank you very much for a great holiday!

Booked this hotel but were shocked to find no gate security, no reception, and no contact options—no email, no support, no staff present. The manager was rude, dismissive, and avoided discussing a refund, promising to follow up, then disappeared. The only positive was bottled water provided daily. The bathroom had no ventilation and smelled bad. The bedroom’s broken AC triggered migraines. Despite this, the manager was arrogant and unhelpful. We only stayed one night due to an early excursion—otherwise, we’d have left sooner. This was meant to be a special trip for my 30th birthday and engagement. We spent £235.50 more on a new hotel and taxis. An engineer confirmed the AC was faulty and said it would be fixed, but nothing changed. We had to beg for a fan just to get through the night. The manager claimed the AC worked if you put your hand right in front of it—ridiculous. He said it felt cool after walking in from 34°C heat, but you’d be sweating within 10 minutes. We had no problems at the other four hotels on our Thailand trip. This manager failed to provide a safe, professional environment. He should refund the unused nights and improve communication. Reviews show this isn’t an isolated issue. Hotels.com couldn’t resolve it after two attempts. I gave the manager a chance before writing this—his only reply was “this is our policy”. I’m now disputing the charge via my bank. Overpriced and poor value—don’t risk your holiday here.

Wir können das Hotel und das ganze Team uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Die Abholung am Flughafen funktionierte super, der Fahrer war sehr freundlich und der Preis fair. Angekommen im Hotel wurden wir sehr freundlich und herzlich empfangen. Das Zimmer war sehr schön für uns hergerichtet. Mir war das Bett zu hart, bekam aber am nächsten Morgen sofort einen Topper. Das Frühstück ist klein aber fein, könnte für längere Aufenthalte aber abwechslungsreicher sein. Man darf sollte jedoch hierbei nicht vergessen, dass es ein kleineres Hotel mit 12 Zimmern ist. Da gibt es auf Grund der Größe Grenzen. Das Restaurant haben wir immer wieder besucht. Auch sehr lecker dort gegessen. Es ist ein wunderschöner kleiner dort, der mit viel Liebe von tollen Menschen gepflegt und nachts auch bewacht wird. Der Strand ist traumhaft. Die Umgebung ruhig und für wenige Bhat ist man schnell im Trubel. Ein kleines Manko sind die Gerüche aus den Leitungen, die immer wieder auftreten. Aber auch da tut das Team was es kann um diese zu reduzieren. Wir würden auf jeden Fall immer wieder gerne zurückkommen! Vielen lieben Dank an die Inhaber und ihr ganzes Team für die schöne Zeit bei euch! Passt auf euch auf und bleibt wie ihr seid!

A beautiful, well run boutique hotel. We arrived during a massive storm so didn’t see the hotel at its best, but once the storm had passed the staff worked exceptionally hard to tidy up and put all the furniture back out and it looked great. Breakfast was lovely with cooked to order eggs and a small but lovely buffet of pastries, bread and cereal. Room wasn’t be biggest but beautifully decorated and spotless. Loved my stay here, very relaxing

Sehr schönes kleines Hotel mit nettem Personal. Das Zimmer war etwas klein, hatte aber allerdings alles, was man braucht. Wir hatten das Frühstück dazugebucht, was sehr lecker und auch sehr zu empfehlen ist. Man hat auch frische Kaffespezialitäten und Eierspezialitäten erhalten. Die Lage ist am Ende des Lamai Beach. Zu Fuß Abends ins Zetrum vom Lamai Beach sind wir ca. 15 Minuten gelaufen. Wer allerdings viel von der Insel sehen möchte, sollte ein Roller mieten. Wir haben den Roller über das Hotel gebucht, auch das können wir empfehlen!

All staff at the Beluga take the greatest pride in the service they provide with the highest attention to detail. If we return to Lamai in the future we will stay again at the Beluga Boutique Resort.

Sehr freundliches Personal. Zur Begrüßung gab es erst mal einen sehr leckere Cocktail den man sich aussuchen konnte. Die Zimmer sind echt etwas besonderes mit dem eingebauten Felsen. Die Poolanlage ist super und man kann hier sehr gut entspannen. Kann jeden empfehlen hier her zu kommen.

What a find ! Amazing boutique hotel, never feels too busy despite its small appearance. Really good breakfast, the best ive had in Thailand. Rooms and bathroom are a good size. A/C works brilliant, Wifi fantastic. Bar good but hotel prices. Small but perfectly acceptable pool. Good location for restaurants on the roads outside. Also good for walks on the beach where there are bars and restaurants too. The views from the hotel are perfect. Staff are fantastic, super friendly, nothing is too much trouble. Sit on the adjacent rock and admire the views.

We overall didn't like our stay here. There was no hot water through out our stay. We told the staff about it, but nothing was done. Rooms are smaller than they appear in pics. Balcony is not private. There's no trash bin in the room. We had called up the hotel to ask about scooter rentals and were told that they can provide it. We reached after 6pm for check in and were told the scooter renting is done by manager who leaves by 6pm. We weren't told about this 6pm deadline on call. We spent the next hour or so looking for a scooter. On the day of checking out, we called up the front desk for booking cab to airport. Weirdly we were told the cab is already booked although we never asked for it. I decided to go to office because i couldn't trust what the person on call said. At the office i realised that the cab wasn't confirmed. The person there called up the taxi guy and confirmed the taxi. If i wouldn't have gone to the office, we probably wouldn't have gotten a taxi. Overall we didn't feel like this is a 4 star hotel and wouldn't recommend it to others.

The room key is attached to the room card for electricity, etc. This made it very inconvenient to keep the room air-conditioned. The air-conditioning was awful. It did not even reach the bathroom which was stuffy all the time. The air conditioning was so weak that it only blew in one spot. The property is also located in an area where there is no lighting and you have to walk through a very dark alleyway to get back home. As the sunsets early gets pitch dark by around 7:00 PM. It’s very dangerous to be walking around.

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt. Das Hotel hat einen schönen Ausblick und liegt direkt am Strand. Was uns aber am Besten gefallen hat war die Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft der Mitarbeiter. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir würden nur empfehlen ein Zimmer im oberen Stockwerk zu buchen, da die anderen Zimmer sich direkt am Pool befinden und man sich dann beobachtet fühlt.

A beautiful, well run boutique hotel. We arrived during a massive storm so didn’t see the hotel at its best, but once the storm had passed the staff worked exceptionally hard to tidy up and put all the furniture back out and it looked great. Breakfast was lovely with cooked to order eggs and a small but lovely buffet of pastries, bread and cereal. Room wasn’t be biggest but beautifully decorated and spotless. Loved my stay here, very relaxing

Vi havde et fantastisk ophold på et undervurderet hotel! Vi havde tre dejlige overnatninger, hvor der var styr på alt. Personalet var meget hjælpsomme med alt, bl.a. at booke færgebilletter, komme med forslag til ture osv. lidt ærgerligt med en aircondition, der kun virkede, når nøglen var på værelset, så der blev ret varmt på værelset i løbet af dagen. Det er dog det eneste, der ikke bare spillede. Alt i alt et dejligt sted!

Booked this hotel but were shocked to find no gate security, no reception, and no contact options—no email, no support, no staff present. The manager was rude, dismissive, and avoided discussing a refund, promising to follow up, then disappeared. The only positive was bottled water provided daily. The bathroom had no ventilation and smelled bad. The bedroom’s broken AC triggered migraines. Despite this, the manager was arrogant and unhelpful. We only stayed one night due to an early excursion—otherwise, we’d have left sooner. This was meant to be a special trip for my 30th birthday and engagement. We spent £235.50 more on a new hotel and taxis. An engineer confirmed the AC was faulty and said it would be fixed, but nothing changed. We had to beg for a fan just to get through the night. The manager claimed the AC worked if you put your hand right in front of it—ridiculous. He said it felt cool after walking in from 34°C heat, but you’d be sweating within 10 minutes. We had no problems at the other four hotels on our Thailand trip. This manager failed to provide a safe, professional environment. He should refund the unused nights and improve communication. Reviews show this isn’t an isolated issue. Hotels.com couldn’t resolve it after two attempts. I gave the manager a chance before writing this—his only reply was “this is our policy”. I’m now disputing the charge via my bank. Overpriced and poor value—don’t risk your holiday here.

The staff are extremely friendly helpful and attentive. We were only there for 2 days but could see the manager had a great relationship with all the vistors. My passport was soaked from the storm i was given a bowl of rice to put my passport in which worked! I was so grateful. They also put an amazing display on the bed and provided treats and flowers for my birthday which was beautiful.

Our stay in Beluga boutique hotel was very enjoyable. The staff was simply amazing. Wyn was great behind the bar, always happy, and Nien, the guy who served us breakfast was very kind. O helped us a lot with choosing excursions. And we booked all our taxis through O. We talked to her at breakfast about what we wanted to do for the day and it was great to have her support. Oli (Oliver) the manager was always pleasant and easy to talk to. We were two hours early on arrival and Oli saw us and walked across the pool area to greet us and carry our bags and we were made to feel special, we were offered welcome drinks and a fruit plate. All in all, a unique experience.

Vom Zimmer aus, hatten wir eine tolle Sicht aufs Meer. Es gibt nur 14 Doppelzimmer, was sehr entspannend ist. In der Umgebung konnten wir gut zu Abend essen.

What a wonderful little pocket of Koh Samui. This feels off the beaten path but is right next to grandma and grandpa rocks which is convenient. It is down the beach from the main part of Lamai (long walk but doable). The staff were so kind and helpful. I got a massage each day with the woman right next to the property…$9 for an hour. Incredible. Swimming is lovely in the ocean or pool. Drinks and juices are well priced. Breakfast is also wonderful, eggs and pastries with fruit and coffee or tea. This is a quiet place with a chill vibe, I was happy to spend a lot of time here when I normally would be out and about the whole time. Definitely check out Beluga!

Sehr schönes kleines Hotel mit nettem Personal. Das Zimmer war etwas klein, hatte aber allerdings alles, was man braucht. Wir hatten das Frühstück dazugebucht, was sehr lecker und auch sehr zu empfehlen ist. Man hat auch frische Kaffespezialitäten und Eierspezialitäten erhalten. Die Lage ist am Ende des Lamai Beach. Zu Fuß Abends ins Zetrum vom Lamai Beach sind wir ca. 15 Minuten gelaufen. Wer allerdings viel von der Insel sehen möchte, sollte ein Roller mieten. Wir haben den Roller über das Hotel gebucht, auch das können wir empfehlen!

Great place to stay in Lamai. It is a bit of a walk to town (20min), but there are great places to have a meal or a drink nearby. The staff are awesome and the resort is well equipped. I had a peaceful stay and appreciated the overall quality of the resort. I was traveling solo, but could definitely say it would be a nice place to spend a romantic getaway.

The hotel is away from the busy part of Lamai, but still many good food options close by and everything else you would need. The hotel is not a big Hot Spot for the drinking crowd (although they have a nice bar) so it's always very quiet and laid back. If you rent a motorbike, you can be in the town center in 5 minutes or less. The hotel is on the beach, but not the nicest part of Lamai beach, but you can walk along the beach to nice spots. The beach is not trashy but it should be cleaned of natural sea deposits more often. Over all, a very nice place to stay with a great staff!
The hotel is away from the busy part of Lamai, but still many good food options close by and everything else you would need. The hotel is not a big Hot Spot for the drinking crowd (although they have a nice bar) so it's always very quiet and laid back. If you rent a motorbike, you can be in the town center in 5 minutes or less. The hotel is on the beach, but not the nicest part of Lamai beach, but you can walk along the beach to nice spots. The beach is not trashy but it should be cleaned of natural sea deposits more often. Over all, a very nice place to stay with a great staff!

Everyone was really nice and kind. Breakfast is 350 Bhat and it was delicious. The hotel is literally right on the beach and it is private so not a lot of people. I sometimes felt I was the only one there. The hotel is really small and cute. Great customer service to all staff. everyone was friendly. I would come back again.

From the moment we arrived until the moment we left this boutique resort was wonderful. On arrival we received the warmest welcome complete with any drink of our choice and was then quickly taken to our room where every detail was explained (light switches, door locking etc). Our room on the 2nd floor was spotlessly clean and the bed and pillows comfortable. Each morning a delicious breakfast was served by the pool. All staff at the Beluga take the greatest pride in the service they provide with the highest attention to detail. If we return to Lamai in the future we will stay again at the Beluga Boutique Resort.

Petit hôtel intimiste, joliment décoré et très bien situé en bord de mer, non loin des commodités. Personnel au petit soin, très souriant. Le patron de l’hôtel Olivier ainsi que la manager Aure sont très sympathiques et de bon conseil pour les lieux à visiter et les endroits où se faire masser. Les cocktails et repas sont succulents. Je recommande vivement.

Tolle Lage am Ende von lamai Beach mit sehr freundlichem Personal und Besitzern. Schöner Poolbereich, alles Top gepflegt. Fussläufig Restaurants, Supermarkt, Massagen erreichbar, das Hotel hat abends kein Essen. bequeme Betten, alles sehr sauber. Strandzugang über Felsen direkt möglich aber nichts für gehbehinderte, aber Wunderschöne Aussicht. insgesamt auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen.

What a find ! Amazing boutique hotel, never feels too busy despite its small appearance. Really good breakfast, the best ive had in Thailand. Rooms and bathroom are a good size. A/C works brilliant, Wifi fantastic. Bar good but hotel prices. Small but perfectly acceptable pool. Good location for restaurants on the roads outside. Also good for walks on the beach where there are bars and restaurants too. The views from the hotel are perfect. Staff are fantastic, super friendly, nothing is too much trouble. Sit on the adjacent rock and admire the views.

Un moment inoubliable, première fois de ma vie que je vois des clients partir en pleurant et en serrant dans leurs bras le personnel. Un grand merci à Olivier, à O et à son équipe pour cette semaine magique. A stay at Beluga is a stay amongst family! Such friends amd welcoming staff, ready to make the stay memorable. With Only a few rooms, it is never crowded and the atmosphere is laid back and warm. The place is quiet, has a wonderful view and an really excellent restaurant. If you want more action, it is a lazy short stroll and ypu’re in Lamai Town. I highly recommend Beluga Botique hotel!
