When planning a trip, it is reasonable to expect that the room corresponds to the images presented at the time of booking. In the case of the “Lumina” category, the hotel advertises photographs of spacious rooms with a bathtub. However, this feature is not standard within the category. There are different configurations, and guests may receive a layout substantially different from what is shown in the advertised images. This is not a matter of perspective or camera angle — the rooms are structurally different. This distinction is not clearly or transparently communicated during the booking process. Considering the approximate rate of €600 per night, additional aspects further diverge from the price positioning: • Reception integrated into the bistrot area, with a strong and persistent cheese odor. • Very small garage with extremely limited maneuvering space, making parking operationally difficult. • Ski room without ventilation, with questionable hygiene standards and recurring strong odors. • Common areas essentially limited to two saunas. • Breakfast with limited variety; pre-prepared eggs served almost cold. Boiled eggs are literally hard and cold when served. • Filter coffee excessively strong, with a low-quality taste inconsistent with the advertised standard. I have stayed in several hotels in this region, including family-run properties, and all of them were excellent experiences. This hotel, however, was a very negative surprise in comparison.

The staff at the hotel (especially Alex), were all very helpful and made us feel at home. Proximity to the mountain was excellent. We will definitely stay here again the next time we’re in the area.

A fabulous, fully-renovated boutique hotel in a lovely, walkable neighbourhood (Selva). The mountain vistas are stunning, and the hotel staff were exceptionally helpful. The breakfast buffet was the finest ever encountered in 70 countries over 45 years of travel. The basement sauna (free) is a first-class facility with 3 different options. The dining room was pricy, but the food was excellent. We truly enjoyed the cheese fondue and raclette. Parking was indoor and heated. We will recommend this hotel to all our friends.
