Siesta Villa

We picked up this place on special and were pleasantly surprised. Quiet, picturesque location, easy to find, breakfast included….excellent and reasonably priced hire equipment….very pleasant! Some Reno’s underway. We will be back.

Really nice place to stay, super quaint and the spa bath was a nice touch. A scrubbing brush could be helpful for doing the plastic dishes

The property is old and needs a lot of work but in saying that it is what it is and the price reflects that. The shower, bed and wifi were all perfect which is all I'm after. The decor, bar, dining and games areas brought back childhood memories of family holidaying in the 70's. The potential for this place and location is great and I look forward to seeing if they get there.

A great manager and staff - comfy room, convenient restaurant.

Place was so clean, the person incharge was helpful and fulfilled all requests made. Nice quiet area near Lake, good views, nice room, great outside area, slot machines, billiards and restaurant. Inclusion of breakfast was awesome, breakfast has many options veg non-veg. Liked everything and will stay again. Only thing is that breakfast on second day was also same, can vary the hotfood options on each day, that will be nice. Thanks.

Neat and tidy. Exactly what you’d expect from the pictures. It’s an older style motel with easy onsite parking. Breakfast was toast and cereals and a coffee machine. Friendly staff. The deck did feel pretty unsafe but other than that I would have no issues staying again.

Great location, nice and quiet. Friendly staff. On site restaurant and bar were great, food was lovely. Loved the bird life around. The let down for me was whatever cleaning agent had been used in the room was so strongly scented I could hardly breathe, made sleeping difficult.

Was quiet and friendly but we were told on arrival There was no dining or bar service. The spa when turned on spurted water everywhere all over the room and was immediately turned off and not used again. The water level was just above the jets. The doors to the toilet and shower are glass or perspex with a bit of frosted area - you can still see through them.

Can not argue with the price, came with a breakfast which is a bonus, clean and probably needs a bit of TLC. it should consider having the reception or bar open later on a Friday night when people are likely to arrive at a later time. Overall did all the basics well and can’t argue. Staff were great.

The property was clean. Saff reached out to us in time. Overall a very confoirtable stay in a quite location and all amenities provided in a gfood apartment.

The motel was pretty old. The lights were dark. The bathroom was terrible, the sink is really small and the algae was all over the shower place. The air condition was not warm enough in the winter. The breakfast was ok but gave me diarrhea. Pretty bab experience.

The breakfast service is offered between 7:00 AM and 8:30 AM, presenting guests with a choice between sleeping in and missing breakfast or waking up early to enjoy it. It was observed that the same staff members who serve breakfast transition to cleaning the rooms and later return to serve dinner. This may explain why only minor cleaning is performed in the rooms (confirmed by my friends in other rooms), even upon request. Although the room appeared satisfactory upon check-in, during our four-night stay with children, the beds were not made after the initial check-in, even upon request. As a result, we had to make our own beds using clean linens obtained from the laundry.

The location is good. The breakfast is alright I happened to peep below the beds and they were very dirty to say the least . The price charged is at premium due to the snow season The place needs a good clean .

Cleaning was very low level. Customer service is poor..would not recommend to friends..

Property was so unclean and dirty we had to check out of the motel and find another one. Very unacceptable.

Very worn down, paint peeling off walls, cracks in walls and holes. We had to pay extra for more children even though we purposely booked the family room. Stained carport. The place seems like it is falling apart. We paid quite a bit for a very run down room and motel in heneral

I loved the tranquility of the location and we had a lovely two nights in very comfy beds. The room layout is novel but the deck and the glorious rainshower are blissful. I commend the team for doing their very best, like so much of the travel/hospitality sector, when visitors are travelling again but staff are not easy to find. I would very much like to return.

Everything was satisfactory as expected. The only issue was no internet access. I had work to do but could not connect on any of the 3 wifi options. I had to hotspot my own phone.

View is spectacular and although it seems like they're genuinely trying to assist guests, the rooms are very old and walls are paper thin cause next door guest conversations can be heard.

The manager was fantastic as he was very helpful and friendly. The complimentary breakfast was satisfying. We will definitely be booking again.

I booked through Wotif, and as I was doing so the website glitched and changed my booking from 4 to 2 people. I immediately realised my mistake and contacted the property, leaving a voicemessage explaining what happened and asking for an amendment. There was no other option on the site or their website to contact them. I didn’t hear back and when I arrived approximately 7-8 hours later at 6pm, the clerk at the desk was rude, was annoyed as he’d moved our booking to a smaller room (not what we’d booked), and stated that this is what happens when you book through third party websites and not directly through the venue; He was not apologetic or sympathetic to our situation, or the lack of communication from the venue, and was annoyed stating that the staff would now have to make up the room for four. Admittedly, things got heated between the clerk and a member of my party (we had been travelling all day from funeral, which he couldn’t have known, and with a person with a disability and a person with an ABI). He asked us to leave and stated we could request a refund from Wotif, and he would send an email explaining what happened. I contacted Wotif immediately after booking into different accomodation and whilst I was on live chat with them, they contacted the Siesta Villa asking for a refund, which was refused. We are out of pocket the amount for the accomodation, and never received acknowledgement or an apology in regards to the lack of communication by the staff or venue

A great winter venue for skier some 10 mins from Jindybine. Beautiful of the lake. Great service from the manger regarding late check out and early breakfast. Only thing missing is hot chocolate!

Absolutely amazing views, pleasant stay, very comfortable And peaceful. A close drive to shops although this property is ideal for families, with bbq and plenty of room to play

Location was bejtyfull on the lake side,breakfast was amazing,but over all the service was top,with grest friendliness I recommend it to anyone to stay
