We were surprised to have to pay for electricity when it wasn't agreed upon in the contract. And the cost is relatively high, as we had to add 100 euros for four nights. It costs 5 euros to run the dishwasher. Additionally, the floors were relatively dirty. The sofa was stained. This apartment is a bit outdated, as there were moldy baseboards in the WC and one of the bathrooms." "We request that you cover the cost of the electricity, which was not included in the contract."

Coming back to Ireland and Killorglin with our grandson for the first time was the reason for choosing this property. It didn’t disappoint. Great location. Checking in was so easy we didn’t notice it. Cottage was as described spacious and clean. It became a perfect return to a place full of happy memories. Thank you.

We recently stayed at this holiday cottage, and while the location was absolutely nice, the cottage itself fell short in several areas. Upon arrival, we found that the cleanliness was not up to standard, with noticeable dirt in various places.The bathrooms were moldy, moist, uncomfortable and outdated. Additionally, some of the lamps did not work, because bulbs were missing. Another concern was the presence of ants in the kitchen, which made meal preparation quite unpleasant. The pictures in the advertisements did n’t reflect the reality. With attention to these issues, this cottage could be a nice place, but as it stands, it was a disappointment. ---

Leider ist die Wohnung stark renovierungsbedürftig Badezimmer mit schimmeligen Fugen. Badewanne nicht nutzbar schlimm ist das dauer brummen des Stromkastens nur 1 Handtuch zum abtrocknen von Geschirr Boden müsste auch erneuert werden überall Fugen keine Wolldecke im Wohnzimmer alles ziemlich lieblos das geht besser vorallem für den Preis würde wiederkommen wenn es renoviert wäre Sauberkeit ließ auch zu wünschen schade

It is a lovely place directly at a river with a beautiful view right at the ring of Kerry. Check-in worked well. All together it is a Appartment of a company, which wants to earn money without to much work. It's ok but not much more. Heating didn't work very well. The whole Appartment feels clammy. We also got an water-damage with a moldy ceiling in the kitchen. The site manager wanted to react asap after sending the photos and then we never heard from her again. Beds and couch were overworked. Price-performance ratio wasn't ok.

Situate yourself in the middle of it all. Whether it’s a trip to Killarney national park, driving the ring of Kerry or hiking Carrauntoohil…, nice little place on the river. Walking distance to pubs and super markets in Killorglin and right off the highway but a quiet paradise tucked away on the river. Appliances are dated and a little scratch and dent going on but that gets you a great value. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The site manager was brillant helpful - our ferry was delayed but this was no bother and she out heating and hot water on for us so was cosy when we arrived. Everything to hand - highly recommend

The Accommodation was extremely tidy, and well situated. The staff were excellent, friendly and very helpful. Although they were more than adequate the amenities could use anto be more in line with the rest of the industry, i.e. maybe a larger television in the sitting room, televisions in the bedrooms and a modern speaker in the living area as opposed to a CD Player. This however is just a suggestion and not criticism by any means as stated previously Trident Holiday Homes made my stay at The Grove Lodge a delightful one.
The Accommodation was extremely tidy, and well situated. The staff were excellent, friendly and very helpful. We were more than satisfied with our stay in Grove Lodge. The setting is beautiful and the furnishings attractive. The only reason for a few less than 5 stars was that we received NO check in information prior to our stay. We didn't know which unit was ours. It was not easy to determine who the property manager was. Having to go through Trident wasn't straightforward. We eventually reached the property manager (a different person than we'd received earlier communications from) Overall, we'd recommend the unit but suggest better communication.

Walking distance to pubs and super markets in Killorglin and right off the highway but a quiet paradise tucked away on the river. Appliances are dated and a little scratch and dent going on but that gets you a great value. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Coming back to Ireland and Killorglin with our grandson for the first time was the reason for choosing this property. It didn’t disappoint. Great location. Checking in was so easy we didn’t notice it. Cottage was as described spacious and clean. It became a perfect return to a place full of happy memories. Thank you.
