Dejligt stort værelse og et lækkert badeværelse. Hotellets morgenmad var dejlig. Hotellet ligger i et kedeligt kvarter. Bagved hotellet ligger der en grus plads hvor der er masser af plads til parkering. Der står også et hegn der hegner en grund ind som nu har stået sådan det sidste års tid, da vi har overnattet på Golden Tulip før.

Man fährt auf den Parkplatz hinter dem Hotel und fragt sich, wo man da hingeraten ist. In direkter Nähe zum Bahnhof und man schaut auf eine z.T. unverputzte Wand. Die Fassade an der Straßen- und Eingangsseite hat die besten Jahre auch schon hinter sich. Man tritt durch die Tür und dann ist alles anders als der erste Eindruck vermittelt. Der Empfang ist OK, das Zimmer und der Flur sauber und dank echter Doppelfenster ist vom Geschehen draußen nichts zu hören. Hat aber zur Konsequenz, dass nachts das Fenster geschlossen bleiben muss - sonst wird’s laut. Bad mit Regendusche OK, ich hab‘s allerdings nicht hinbekommen, einen kühlen Strahl einzustellen. Ein (Mini-) Kühlschrank und ein Wasserkocher sind vorhanden, 2Portionen Kaffee oder Tee werden täglich gereicht. Am Anreisetag war auch eine Flasche Mineralwasser im Zimmer. Tägliche Reinigung gut. Einziger Kritikpunkt: die Klima-Anlage hat den Namen nicht verdient. Außer Krach produziert sie nämlich höchstens einen ganz laues Lüftchen. In unserem Zimmer gab es eine verschlossene Tür zum Nachbarzimmer. Das ist auch nichts für jeden und könnte evtl. bei lauteren Nachbarn doch stören. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und gut Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt.

Empfehlenswert da Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis für Hotel in Top-Lage gut ist. Besonders positiv : Kostenfreie Parkplätze am Haus Negativ : Frühstück ist für ein 4*-Haus schon sehr mager - das können 3*-Häuser schon besser !

Wir wäre äußerst Zufrieden. Die Betten waren gemütlich, das Zimmer schön sauber und die Gegend perfekt um auch zu Fuß alles zu erreichen. Kostenlose Parkplätze standen zur Verfügung und das Personal war sehr freundlich. Empfehlung geht raus! :)

Vrij centrale ligging, ontbijt meer dan behoorlijk, kamer voldoende ruim. Maar muggen, motten en een soort duizendpoten zijn minder gezellig. Een douche waar het water slechts zeer langzaam wegloopt. Een airco die eerder symbolisch is in de kamer, maar wel werkt in de gemeenschappelijke ruimtes.

Das Hotel hat zu Beginn der Reise einen guten Eindruck gemacht. Wir kamen auf unser kleines Zimmer und leider hat die dritte Schlafmöglichkeit gefehlt. An der Rezeption bemängelt, wurde uns ein größeres Zimmer zur Verfügung gestellt. Auch dieses war nur geringfügig größer und man musste über das dritte Bett klettern. Haare im Bett und an der Toilettenbrille… beide Kaffeemaschinen beim Frühstück defekt. Der Filterkaffee war nicht gut. Das Frühstück war in Ordnung. Ansonsten ist das Ambiente hübsch, die Dekoration zur Weihnachtszeit schön, Personal freundlich. Die Nacht war ruhig.

Great staff, very friendly. Super breakfast options. The hotel is on the older side, but it is very clean and comfortable. Overall a great choice for a couple nights exploring this interesting town.

Solides Hotel, mit passendem Preisleungsverhältnis. Leider war die Klimaanlage etwas laut und sie hat es such nicht geschafft gegen die hitze anzukommen. Das Kopfkissen war für meinen Geschmack etwas hart.

Grundsätzlich alles in Ordnung. Allerdings sollte das Hotel seine Preistransparenz einmal überdenken. Wir wurden mit einem günstigen Preis gelockt und buchten das Zimmer. Im Nachhinein kamen dann Kosten für die Kinder und den Hund dazu, die obwohl gebucht, nicht extra aufgeführt wurden. Das Frühstück, was dann auf einmal morgens ebenfalls extra kosten sollte wurde uns dann auf Kulanz erlassen. Hier ist deutlich an der Transparenz zu arbeiten.

Grundsätzlich alles in Ordnung. Allerdings sollte das Hotel seine Preistransparenz einmal überdenken. Wir wurden mit einem günstigen Preis gelockt und buchten das Zimmer. Im Nachhinein kamen dann Kosten für die Kinder und den Hund dazu, die obwohl gebucht, nicht extra aufgeführt wurden. Vi havde booket suite med aircon til os og vores 2 børn for at få lidt ekstra luksus. I beskrivelsen stod at minibar var inkl. Da vi kommer til værelset er det varmt og aircon kan ikke køle det ned. Minibar er tom der ligger et skilt i at det er til fri afbenyttelse til vores egne kølevarer. Der er ikke redt op til vores børn hvilket vi fik lov at betale 35 euro for at få gjort. da vi skulle tjekke ud ville de have betaling igen men kunne vise dem at vi havde betalt dagen før. Morgenbuffet var lille men der var fin mulighed for at blive mæt. Det var gode senge. Hotellet ligger nemt fra motorvejen og godt i centrum der er masse at se det er en flot og spændende by.

Preis /Leistung wird einem 4Sterne Hotel leider nicht gerecht. Als absolut negativ empfanden wir ausserdem, das wir zusätzliche Gebühren von 35Euro für die Übernachtung der Kinder (auf dem Schlafsofa) bezahlen mussten, obwohl wir bei Hotels.com für 2 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder gebucht hatten. Wir werden definitiv nicht nochmal dort übernachten.

Preis /Leistung wird einem 4Sterne Hotel leider nicht gerecht. Als absolut negativ empfanden wir ausserdem, das wir zusätzliche Gebühren von 35Euro für die Übernachtung der Kinder (auf dem Schlafsofa) bezahlen mussten, obwohl wir bei Hotels.com für 2 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder gebucht hatten. Wir werden definitiv nicht nochmal dort übernachten.

We arrived late night and there was some booking trouble in my colleague. However, the hotel staff tried to check the problems and finally succeded to solve the problem. It took some time but staff behaviors are very kind and polite. I stayed nice time in Kassel.

Lo único negativo es la ubicación, que si bien está a un paso de la estación de tren, tiene enfrente clubs de strepteasse y el ambiente nocturno no es muy agradable...

Area outside of the property looks super sketchy and run down but ill say its normal since the main train station is a short walk away and theres tons of foot traffic. This place has free parking which is obviously great! Here are some of the not so great things: the building faces the sun so it was super hot in our room, the AC unit does not do the bare minimum so we had to open up the window which if you're ok with outside noises you'll be good otherwise you'll have an uncomfortable night. The police station is right next door so be prepared for random loud sirens throughout the night (extra loud if the window is opened). The shades in the room are not the widest so don't expect a super dark room, it was super hard falling asleep since there was still tons of light out. The amenities are also not the greatest, they had a vending machine but it was out of order which sucked because the drinks at reception were more expensive. I dont think I would come back to stay here again.

Das Hotel hat zu Beginn der Reise einen guten Eindruck gemacht. Wir kamen auf unser kleines Zimmer und leider hat die dritte Schlafmöglichkeit gefehlt. An der Rezeption bemängelt, wurde uns ein größeres Zimmer zur Verfügung gestellt. Auch dieses war nur geringfügig größer und man musste über das dritte Bett klettern. Haare im Bett und an der Toilettenbrille… beide Kaffeemaschinen beim Frühstück defekt. Der Filterkaffee war nicht gut. Das Frühstück war in Ordnung. Ansonsten ist das Ambiente hübsch, die Dekoration zur Weihnachtszeit schön, Personal freundlich. Die Nacht war ruhig.

Durchschnittliches Hotel. Zimmer sind gut und modern eingerichtet. Frühstück hat uns nicht gefallen - war einfach zu wenig und Aufschnitt aus Discounter ist für ein 4 Sterne-Anspruch nicht ausreichend. Misfallen hat uns auch, dass die Reinigungskraft beim Frühstück den Raum und angrenzende Räumlichkeiten mit entsprechender Lärmentwicklung saugt und reinigt. Das geht besser.

Very disappointing stay. We booked Golden Tulip in Kassel specifically because the hotel advertised air conditioning. Upon arrival, we were told that the air conditioning was not working and were given a fan instead. The room was 41°C, which made it completely impossible to sleep. We did not sleep at all and left the hotel at 4:45 in the morning to continue our trip. This was not worth the money at all. A hotel should not advertise air conditioning if it cannot provide it, especially in extreme heat.
