It was a nice place, however, off the season (November) their pool was closed, restaurant was closed. Not so many people there, so if you are looking for something very secluded - it will be for you. Complementary breakfast was not good, no warm food, only plain bagels.

Our group loved staying here! The grounds were beautiful, the beds comfy, the breakfast delicious, and the service friendly. We also enjoyed playing corn hole and sitting by the fire pit on the evening. Not to mention, it is a short drive to Yosemite. We will definitely stay here again.

Sierra Sky Ranch was wonderful. The room we had with a king bed was a little tight as was the bathroom but that didn’t matter to us, just mentioning it incase you are a person that wants a lot of space. We really appreciated the water machine and hot water for tea available in the lobby areas. We used the sitting areas for a family game and took a walk to the creek. It was a really charming place and we will definitely stay there again. Would definitely refer to friends and family.

#1-this not a newly constructed, modern accommodation, that's why we enjoyed it so much! The floors are all wood, and creaky like something straight out of a western movie. The rooms are on the smaĺl side, but charming. Very clean in all areas, and our king bed was comfortable. The star of our stay was the french doors that open on to a long porch with available seating and a small table. A beautiful way to watch the sunrise with a cup of coffee. #2 There is no closet, microwave or in-room coffee makers. All other normal amenities are present. That is a game changer for some, but we got by just fine without them. There is 24hr coffee, hot water and a microwave just steps away from our room in a small lobby, a soda machine and ice maker as well. All employees were happy to greet us, and helpful with dinning options in near-by Oakhurst. Plenty of free parking too. We had a wonderful stay, and highly recommend!

Booked last minute stay here as close proximity to Yosemite. The ranch is in a very picturesque setting and it seemed cosy on our arrival. Our room was fairly small but it didn’t bother us as we were on there a night. The room was dusty, the bathroom has cobwebs over the lights ! The shower also wasn’t that clean The building must have very thin walls as could hear everyone walking up and down and doors slamming from our room Breakfast was just awful- there were no hot food options left- they had run out of ‘breakfast sandwiches’ but they offered us a hard boiled egg?? If they had eggs they could have made some scrambled eggs… had to settle for some yoghurt which tastes of nothing and some toast which was really small bread! Shocking really at the price we paid for a night.. we’ve been on a California road trip and this is the worst hotel we’ve stayed in so far.. stay else where!

We did have to leave the hotel because the room smell like and animal did die in it, they look of and other hotel for us because it was olmos 11 pm and the small one as very strong,next day we come back to me sure they don’t charge anything to us and the small it was very strong when we were at the reception.

Enjoyed learning the history of Sierra Sky Ranch. The Hospitality and service with a smile started the moment we walked in. Greeted by Marlo & Kailey who gave us a tour and history lesson. Are room was clean and cozy. We enjoyed a bottle of wine in the library then headed to the fireplace to sit and play board games. We will be back.

Stay in Oakhurst a few times each year. This is our favorite. Has a country feeling which matches the location. Not the Holiday Inn, Hampton inn vibe for the same price. Rooms are super small. Outside area great.

The quiet stay in a 150 year old well-maintained ranch was nice. The room was too small given the high price: two queen beds and a few narrow furniture left no space to walk around. I believe every hotel around Yosemite is expensive like this :(

Beautiful property and location, stayed for one note after travelling through Yosemite. The staff were very courteous and friendly. We were in the bunkouse of the Ranch and the room was fantastic, bed was super comfortable and the view outside was perfect. We even had some Deer walk past our room. Idealyic place

Overall a great stay for my wife and I. Rooms are clean beds are comfy. Easy check in and check out. Within 1 hr drive to Yosemite village. Only complaint is walls are thin as it is a older ranch style hotel. You can easily hear people passing by in the hall and rooms next door. Would definitely stay again.

After being in the room for one hour, we decided to leave and booked another hotel immediately. The room did not have a refrigerator, a closet, a wardrobe, a dresser, or a place to put clothes. Additionally, there was no microwave or coffee maker.

My friends and I did a quick turnaround trip up to Yosemite from SoCal and I found this gem! It is absolutely tranquil and the staff is very nice and ready to fulfill any needs. There are games and corn hole and even a fire pit for smores making. I loved the seating on the patio and journaled in the morning. There’s also some wildlife on sight, keep your eyes peeled for the turkeys! It was definitely a good time.

They were knowledgeable, engaging and always ready with recommendations about the area and Yosemite Park. I am absolutely going to book here again with other family members. First the Room I was given was not in the main hotel, it was an addition that was poorly made to say the least. The walls were thin, the floors in the hall were made of a laminate so when people walked by it sounded like they were in my room and their luggage rolling by sounded like a jet airplane. Guests are allowed to smoke on the shared patio so my room smelled like like smoke as well. And lastly, the room was small with no coffee maker or fridge. Next complaint was the lack of the advertised restaurant and bar. I specifically filtered the two amenities while searching the numerous choices I had. When I got there they said the restaurant was seasonal. I can understand that but the hotel was full! Lastly, the free continental breakfast. Mini muffins, toast, cereal, packaged hardboiled eggs. Come on, I paid $200 a night, I got no water in my room, no ice in the ice machine, a nice breakfast would have really helped this review out a bit. And if you ask why I didn't complain, while sitting in the lobby the front desk attendants were talking about the other guests who did complain, it was nice.

This is a beautiful lodge in a spectacular location. All the rooms open up on to a large deck area. It is very quiet, yet very close to amenities.

Great location, very clean room with a nice bathroom, the bed was very comfortable, overall very good, the only thing was the breakfast, very bland , ceral and milk, toast etc , nothing hot apart from a processed microwave egg and sausage croissant

It was a nice place, however, off the season (November) their pool was closed, restaurant was closed. Not so many people there, so if you are looking for something very secluded - it will be for you. Complementary breakfast was not good, no warm food, only plain bagels.

Beautiful property. Nice setup. Everybody was nice. What we didn’t like. Air duct fan over our head in the bedroom. Kept waking us up all night. Breakfast was very limited, no proteins. We won’t be back. 🙁

The location was great, not too far off the road for an easy start to the drive to the Yosemite Valley. The staff was amazing: the front desk (Dianna offered us some tasty warm tea at check-in, along with some trail recommendations and other useful pamphlets), the bartender (Amanda, who was very friendly and made us some delicious, well-crafted cocktails), the restaurant staff, and a manager & event coordinators we met at the restaurant (Sean & Kristin - had a great time chatting with them, learning about this location along with their other property up the mountain -- definitely check that out if you're looking for a beautiful venue for your wedding <3). There's hiking nearby, the lodging is so cozy and beautiful, and the restaurant/bar was very tasty! Well worth a visit on it's own merits. We visited just before Thanksgiving, it was a beautiful time of year to for both the Sierra Sky Ranch and Yosemite Valley. I only wish we stayed longer! Thanks to all who made our stay magical.

My friends and I did a quick turnaround trip up to Yosemite from SoCal and I found this gem! It is absolutely tranquil and the staff is very nice and ready to fulfill any needs. There are games and corn hole and even a fire pit for smores making. I loved the seating on the patio and journaled in the morning. There’s also some wildlife on sight, keep your eyes peeled for the turkeys! It was definitely a good time.
