The Crown Hotel

L’hôtel est très bien situé. Le personnel est formidable et très accueillant. La décoration des chambres date, les meubles en formica et la salle de bains nous font remonter le temps de quelques décennies ! il faudrait rafraîchir un peu.

Comfortable, cosy and well-decorated bedroom. Nice evening meals available, although slightly limited for vegetarians and later eaters on Sundays outside of peak season, as the service stopped at 7pm. The bar staff did let me know though, so I didn't go hungry! Fantastic, fresh breakfasts with really good quality ingredients. Above all, the staff were amazing. As a solo, female traveller, I felt safe and well-cared for. Caroline particularly gave a personalised service and went above-and-beyond to ensure I was happy and comfortable during my stay. Wonderful!

Room was on 2nd floor and up some quite steep stairs, however all doable and room was very nice, clean and tidy but getting a little tired in places. However I believe the rooms are all going to be given a makeover in the next couple of months. Staff were all brilliant, very welcoming and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. Ate in the bar both nights and the food was great, very reasonably priced as there was a meal deal each night. Breakfast was outstanding and the lady serving was brilliant. All in all a fantastic stay. Thank you all.

Small car park but managed to get in. Nice little shops close by. Lovely bar area and staff. Room a bit cold but beds comfy and thick duvets.
