No food options at this hotel. Coffee only available in the lobby. Beds were okay but nothing special. Room layout meant you had to walk through the full unit before you could wash your hands from the bathroom. Room 101 shares a super thin wall with the lobby and you can hear conversations like they are in the room with you. Lots of food and things nearby.

Travel the way it used to be. This 50’s style motel that is being refreshed provided the basics of travel at a fair price. The room was clean, linens were clean, the A/C worked, it had blackout curtains that actually worked, the bathroom was just remodeled, plenty of dining options within a couple blocks and you can park right by your room for ease of access. And beach access is just 3-4 blocks through a quiet residential neighborhood. An excellent choice for the budget conscious traveler who has the right expectations.

The room was clean. No toiletries provided. No iron or blow dryer. No deadbolt on the door. You get what you pay for. Fair room. No thrills or upgrades. No ice machine on premises. Friendly front desk staff. Heard the room next to me taking until 3 am. would not recommend this place

The front desk gentleman was very kind and easy going. We stayed in 109 and it was very neat having our own garage to park in right outside of the door. It’s a cute room with a tv, microwave, mini fridge, drawers, a place to hang clothes, and full stand up shower. Overall good experience, will be back. Also parking was free, and there seemed to be plenty of it on a Tuesday night.

The overall place was okay, very weird that the bathroom and sink to wash up was on the other side of the wall, the floors were dirty, I walked with socks on and my socks turned black, otherwise it was an average place.

I initially confused this hotel with another property, which affected my initial expectations. While I had previously stayed here and had reservations about returning, I noticed some positive changes. The property shows signs of improvement with fresh paint and general updating efforts. I loved the set up of the room but there were hardly any outlets to use. My feet were filthy from the floor. There were ants in the shower. We had 3 or 4 roaches. Stains on the sheets, I’ve never been Leary about using the bedding in a room, glad we brought extra blankets.

I checked into a room and found 4 cockroaches in the shower. Immediately went to the office and was given a key for a new room. Upon enter this one had 3 cockroaches on the wall. Furthermore I saw bloodstains and burn marks in the carpet. The guy working the desk was nice. Although he didn't seem surprised at all!

This property is by FAR the worst property I’ve ever seen. There were spackle marks all over the room, stains on covers, the mattress springs made crazy sounds, the towels looked as dingy as my golf towels that I used to wipe dirt off my clubs and finally there were BUGS in bathroom ceiling including the showers. This place looked out of a movie. And of course, the bathroom smelled like a collection of old dish sponges. It was so bad that I prepaid for two nights and I refused to stay there despite the fact that I paid for two nights. Now that’s bad!!!!!

Inn was in a great spot surrounded by local shops , coffee shops and ton of restaurants. The room was great but we found the layout to be a little weird. The restroom and shower were in the back room while the handwashing station was located in the front room . The staff was great and very attentive. The price four our room was also very reasonable.

I've heard this place was really rough a few years ago. It seems to be much better now. It offers a clean, basic room at a good price. I wear ear plugs at night so I wasn't bothered, but it seemed like the walls were a bit thin and could be a problem if you are really noise sensitive. Since it is an older place, electrical outlets are very limited. They've tried to add some outlets in some pieces of furniture. Great idea and appreciated, but I had some trouble with them - plugs wouldn't stay connected in the one next to the bed. Speaking of the bed, it was a little softer than I like which may be a feature for others. Nonetheless, the location is great for me when I'm visiting family. A number of restaurants in walking distance (Break Point next door was great for breakfast). On most trips I'm only in the room to to sleep and shower. This place works great for that.

You can tell that this place has been newly renovated. Our only complaint was the metal bed kick plates. Every time we rolled over or got out of bed it sounded like metal trash cans being banged together.

The man that checked us in was SUPER helpful and kind. He got us checked in quick and made sure we had parking close to our room. This Inn has got to be one of the cutest places I’ve stayed in. The second room for our daughter was perfect. The bed was so comfortable, I almost didn’t wake up for work the next day!

A very small but comfortable and clean place to stay. Only 5 blocks from the beach but convenient to interstate 5 and freeway 78. Owners kept the place clean and were onsite to help should something arise.

No food options at this hotel. Coffee only available in the lobby. Beds were okay but nothing special. Room layout meant you had to walk through the full unit before you could wash your hands from the bathroom. Room 101 shares a super thin wall with the lobby and you can hear conversations like they are in the room with you. Lots of food and things nearby.

The property was newly renovated, and our room wasn’t exactly super clean. The toilet was dirty and the floors were too. There was no iron or ironing board, And there was no continental breakfast of any kind. I feel it’s overpriced location and surrounding area is supposed to justify it.

Exceptional value. For the low price, this motel was excellent. The room was clean and recently modernized. The walk-in shower was newly tiled, clean and had good water pressure. The bed was comfotable. The a/c worked well. I don't think you'll find a better deal this close to the beach in Oceanside.

Parking might be a challenge for larger vehicles, but the staff was great in helping park and providing information and any extras we needed. Plenty of places for coffee or food. Typical summer weekend traffic. Bet would be better during week. Enjoyed our stay.
