Room was clean but damp. Measured humidity was frequently over 80%, even with AC on. The building smelled damp as well, even on sunny days. On two separate occassions, I waited over an hour for my food at the restaurant. The carbon monoxide alarm went off in the night and wasn't fixed until the following evening - I called twice and was told each time that someone would be right up. That never happened. I love the park and the staff works hard, but whoever is in charge of hospitality management needs to do a much, much better job.

Stone Cottage rooms are very very small. Someone of a larger stature wouldn't fit in the bathroom. Noise level (doors slamming) in the middle of the night. I wonder if a room in the INN would have been better?

Lodge was nice - room was comfortable and clean. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Other than that, the amenities are almost non-existent. We went to the restaurant/bar in the early evening for a drink. They sat us at the very end of the balcony over what I believe must have been the trash pile. Smell was nauseating. We were given menus and then never saw a server again. Ended up walking out. No complimentary breakfast - instead a way over-priced "cafe" with the world's worst coffee. One container of yogurt was almost $5.00 - almost 500% increase in cost! Any activities in the park were extra charges, even as a paying guest of the hotel. Very disappointed. Had to drive everywhere.

Very comfortable cabin accomodations for a state park. Reasonable rates to boot. Hiker's Café at the main inn property had tasty, affordable breakfast.
