Coratel Inn & Suites by Jasper Hastings

I took the reservation because it was the cheapest hotel in the area. I made a mistake. The front parking lot was torn up- all gravel. I got parked, went inside to check in and noticed that the hotel requires a $100 cash deposit if one wants to use a debit card or pay cash. This hotel has no elevator. They put me on the second floor, and I'm not supposed to climb stairs due to a medical condition. The room was almost unbearably hot. I had to turn the air conditioner on myself (most other hotels will turn it on before the guest arrives) and it said that the filter needed to be cleaned. It was so loud I could barely sleep. The restroom was in good shape, I will give them that. I didn't try the TV, wifi (if any) or fridge. breakfast was just prepackaged muffins, no protein. Pay the difference for a higher-quality hotel, even if that means supporting a bigger corporation.

My key often didnot work and the proprty was not locked from outsiders entering.

The light above the jacuzzi was hanging and they told me just push it up. The light blinked off and on. Never mention driveways was tore up

Investment in the property was apparent, but the back door didn’t lock.

The first room we got had a used bar of soap with hairs on it in the shower. The AC only worked at times and would blow warm air other times. The front desk guy came up to look at it and claimed it worked, blaming it on the thermostat, which had nothing to do with the window box air conditioner. I went to talk to him again and he agreed to give us a new room. The AC worked in there but the tv remote didn't work for the tv in there. The ceramic tiles in the bathroom had almost all of the old grout missing and there was a cracked tile we had to repeatedly piece back together. We wanted extra pillows as there were only 2 per room. They had no extra pillows. There was a laundry room with an open door with heaps of dirty laundry strewn about. The continental breakfast is a hostess snack cake, coffee, no decaf available and juice. The parking lot is out back and the security door is never secure and open all night. You don't need a key card to get in. There is garbage riddling the dumpster area and odd objects and broken glass in the parking lot. There are campers parked around the property. Groups of guys huddled partying in corners of the parking lot. The beds weren't very comfortable. Kind of firm and springy. Pay the extra money for a hotel you're worthy of.

No AC in the room. Cooler in hallways and outside than rooms. They need to pick up the trash it back.

Property and rooms outdated. Smell of smoke throughout the hallways even though they are non-smoking rooms. Both front entrance and back entrance doors broken and did not lock. Breakfast was hostess pastries in plastic wrapping and orange juice was brown in color. Room smelled musty.

We stayed for 2 night, paid for over $340. No pool, no hot tub, and breakfast was a joke with just a juices, coffee, and pre- packages of Cinnabon. Very noisy. Stuffs was missing and gone through while we were out and about.

Sraff was very unfriendly and argumentative. Booked a smoking room and when we checked in told us whole hotel was non smoking. Vending machine had a total of 3 items in it. Breakfast options was just 1 thing. Ended up leaving after 1 night due to service of staff, was booked for 2

Very dirty! Baseboards in bathroom and under window were black. Brown spots in several places on bathroom wall. Shower curtain was filthy. “Continental breakfast” was bad coffee and cellophane wrapped fast food. Beds wee as hard as the floor.

This hotel needs to be closed and redone, whoever owns this hotel should be embarrassed! The toilet had poop on/in it! Bath Ceiling was covered in mold, sheets stained, towels stained, tile falling apart on the floor, toilets clogged, shower drain and sink slow draining door latches broken, TV not functioning, Light switch broken, 2 hard double beds, only 2 towels in the first room, 1 in the next. if it hadn't been so late, we would have left. The office person took 15mins to show up, on several different occasions. Never staying there again.

Filthy. Bed sheets were stained with blood, the pillows stunk, there was hair in the bed, the bathroom was not clean. I checked in and left one hour later. I lost my first night money and asked for a second night refund. You need to take them off of your list. If you truely care about my responses, you will contct me.

When we arrived, the lobby was dirty. We checked in and went to our room. The room was missing outlet covers and most of the outlets did not work. Lampshade broken, microwave filthy and the bed sheets had someone else's hair on them. No safe place to plug my c-pap in. We requested a refund and checked out. The manager told us that Hotels.com has to call the hotel for verification to get our refund.

The hotel was very rundown and dated. It smelled musty, the floors and entryways were dirty. Our room seemed somewhat updated, but in the morning we discovered there were vomit stains on the mattress. The jacuzzi (the reason we purchased the room) also took 2 hours to fill due to low water pressure.

The staff were great. After taking a shower I found out all the towels had a variety of stains on them.

Do not stay here. We thought we would save a little bit of money but for even $100 a night you would expect a clean room. I have never stayed at a more filthy hotel. Hairs on the floor in bathroom, around sink and in the bathtub. Floor hasn’t been cleaned in who knows how long. Stained carpeting and the room smelt the moment we walked in. Not to mention the (what we assume to be) vomit on the old telephone next to the bed. Mattress and pillows were so uncomfortable. Stained pillow cases, I’m curious if they wash the bedding between stays. Spend a little more for piece of mind. I couldn’t wait to get out of there.

The whole hotel was dirty. The room had stains all over the walls, including a brown one by the light switch in the bathroom. I went to to speak to front desk and he came up to look. As we showed him the dirty areas, he responded, “oh, that’s ok.” Needless to say, we did not stay and found another hotel.

The room was dirty even nail clippings on the floor. The bed sheets were stained. Had to ask for room service and the sheets weren’t even changed. It said continental breakfast was included but they only had mini packaged muffins.

I\'m not usually a negative review leaver but this is pretty bad. The name of the hotel is different than the name on the hotel . Zero explanation there. Check in desk employee spoke in heavy accent and was unintelligible. Lots of people just "hanging out" in the parking lot. Lots of sullen faces and missing teeth. The place smells like weed and dust. The carpet in my room was sticky. The WiFi was aweful, couldn\'t even support low resolution Netflix on my phone or Chromebook. The bed was worn out. The pillows were worn out. The room was 3 shades of mismatched paint with the popcorn ceiling falling apart in a few areas. The peep hole was broken from the door and the hole patched with toilet paper. The breakfast? Water from an orange juice machine with a hint of orange. I\'m not kidding, it\'s like if you drank a glass of water and thought about orange juice yesterday. That\'s how much orange juice concentrate is in it. Oh and gas station pastries. Thanks for that. Don\'t bother with this hotel. I\'m doing a charge back on my credit card if Expedia won\'t refund me. This place is NOT a safe place to stay at, and the most miserable place I\'ve been to. Id seriously take my tent in Iraq over this place. RUN.

The beds are extremely hard. Don't recommend if you have a bad back.

The Mattress are old and Wore Out and the Pillows Are Awful..Also the Towels are so Small and Thin they Need to be Cut up for Rags..Need New Bedding as Well...

Only one small pillow and they did not have extras. Bed very hard. Room was clean.

Heat was off, took 3-4 hours for room to warm up. Dirty rag was left on shower curtain. Beds are really hard. No extra pillows available when asked.

First of all, the name is NOT Coratel anymore, it's Asteria. My room had a qtip in the side of the bed that was used, the shower curtains had hair on them and the room was dirty. The toilet had money in the bowl and it smelled awful. A terrible experience and I had to pay a lot to stay in a nicer hotel eventually. However, the staff was really nice and apologized for the inconvenience and they were able to grant me a full refund trough Expedia, which I really appreciated.

This was a budget start so I wasn't expecting 4 star anything. But although it was advertised that someone would be at the front desk 24/7 I had to wait 10 minutes for the guy to show up at check in and there was nobody there when I tried to check out. Too was ok, carpet was filthy and it was dirty in the hallways, so just not a great vibe. But dining options nearby. Why was it rated 7plus stars? Ill never know. 5 at best.

Staff was very friendly. After returning to my room in the evening, I tried to take a shower but there was no hot water. The following morning it was resolved. Brought this up to staff when checking out and was compensated appropriately without even asking for it. An inconvenience out of their control that was handled really well. Hotel overall was nothing extraordinary, but rooms were clean and cool despite it being 90 degrees outside.

Gave us a key to a room that someone was already in-yikes! Heating/air conditioning unit buttons broken and bathroom electrical outlet non functioning thus no hair dryer.

The front desk refused to give us an extra blanket or pillow. Then called the room to ask how many people where in our room. He assumed we had extra people in our room and refused to let me have an extra blanket. The towels were stained and had brown small chunks of - who knows what on them.

Our room had good AC and the beds were ok. The lights went out when we plugged in a phone charger. The toilet randomly wouldn’t flush. The freezer was caked in ice. The bathroom light wouldn’t shut off. There was a pile of dirt on the steps. We told them about all these problems and they said they were sorry but no compensation. Oh, and the continental breakfast was coffee, mini donuts, honeybuns, and apple juice.

The staff member at check in didn't even put down his cell phone to check me in. The vending machine was empty. The bathroom was borderline unsanitary. The room was dirty and the springs were pushing out on the sides of both mattresses. Our stay was horrible and would not recommend staying there!

After 11:00 they locked the door to the check-in desk. If something last longer then expected u can't get there before 11:00pm no one's at desk how you supposed to check in? I just got lucky that one of them came back.

Very friendly staff, easy parking, large rooms, great price

The staff is always friendly whenever I needed to speak with them. I have been staying here for approximately a month and there aren't any complaints.

It was an okay stay. The two hotel staff we interacted with were kind and efficient. The location of the hotel was very convenient. It was fairly quiet as well. The room itself looked nice and was as pictured. I felt it could have been cleaner. Mirrors were streaky, baseboards were really dusty. The duvet cover looked like it needed to be replaced with some sort of stain and a rip in it. I kind of question the “non smoking” quality room. No other room in our wink had a non smoking label. The hallways had a faint Smokey smell. There was also an ashtray in our “non smoking room. For us it is just a preference but if asthma or allergies are a concern I would have passed on this location.

Nicely illuminated parking lot!

We stay here many times during the year. We have always kiked this location due to it being a quiet location. Close to stores and restaurants. But now there is an unsightly RV type situation taking place right in front of the hotel. Its unfortunate that this had to take place. The people at the hotel are always helpful and kind to talk with.

Outstanding property. Very quiet, centrally located, and well kept. I would highly recommend this property to everyone. I have additional trips planned for this area and would love to stay at place again.

Gross! Construction workers outside everywhere drinking beer, smoking weed, littering and urinating. Stay at your own risk.

Cheap guest laundry, good location, googke maos has wrong address & side of street. Always that one "guest" whos room smells like wet ashtray & azz.

The signage for the building was off, parking in rear was adequate but there was no exterior lighting when we arrived, it did get turned on later in the evening. Room was clean & comfortable.

My room was not clean - very dirty floors and bathroom. Hair on the sheets. Just coffee and packaged rolls for breakfast.

Kitchen/continental breakfast very limited. Area not maintained. No juice. Only cinnamon rolls.

The Room was dirty! The mirror had SOMETHING on it. Breakfast was nothing and advertised has having a light breakfast. Customer service did not exist.
