The bed was clean, the water was hot. The location was decent. Otherwise there was no redeeming qualities. It served its purpose for a one night stay but i wouldn't go back if there were other options.

Tammy, who is not handicapped, parks in the handicap parking by the office. My room is directly next to the office. I have a handicap license plate and I am handicapped, permanently disabled. This morning she parked her vehicle so close to mine in between the spaces that I could not get into my vehicle or put my 5 month old son in the vehicle. I never had a problem with her before this. I went to the office and asked her if she could just move over a little bit because I could not get in. I was super nice about it. She came outside slamming the door and moved her vehicle over a little bit, which is still in the guest handicap parking spot. She then proceeded to get out of her car and tell me that I cannot park there anymore that I would have to move down and park further. I packed my son in the car with his things and I went to go get a bagel. I came back and as I'm grabbing stuff out of my car, and I'm on the phone with the hotel that owns the building to begin with and heard everything she said, she called my name and told me that she was going to move me to a different room because a different handicap person needed that room, mind you the room next to me which is also on the first floor and handicapped accessible, was empty. I told her I'm not moving but I am also handicapped and she cannot legally do that to which she replied that she was going to call my case worker because I'm having the room paid for. Which is another form of retaliation and highly illegal.

Stayed 1 night

This is an older motel, but everything was fine for a short stay. The motel was clean. I wish there was a coffee pot in the room. No coffee in the office either, but you can buy coffee after 8am. Being the only motel in Honesdale, they can charge more than they should. I have stayed here several times though and will probably stay again.
