Stayed 3 nights

We traveled as three couples and booked three rooms at Jumeirah Mallorca, expecting the world-class service the brand is known for. Unfortunately, our experience was deeply disappointing. The problems started before we arrived. I contacted the concierge multiple times to arrange airport transportation for six people with luggage, but never received a response. We had to make last-minute arrangements ourselves. At check-in, we asked if our rooms could be closer together. The front desk said they couldn’t accommodate that but offered a two-bedroom suite for “€2,500 more” so we could stay closer. We specifically asked if that was for the entire stay or per night, and left with the clear understanding it was the total cost. We accepted only because it was their proposed solution—not because we wanted an upgrade. To make matters worse, the third room wasn’t even close to the suite as promised. The real shock came after we returned to the U.S. We discovered an unexpected charge of approximately $22,000 on our American Express. The hotel claimed the suite was €2,500 per night, something we would never have agreed to. Instead of acknowledging what was clearly a misunderstanding, they treated us as if we were the problem. The property itself is beautiful, but luxury is about trust as much as scenery. Leaving guests with a surprise five-figure charge and refusing to take responsibility for an obvious communication breakdown is unacceptable. I cannot recommend this hotel.

Our stay at Jumeirah Mallorca exceeded every expectation. The hotel enjoys one of the most spectacular settings in Mallorca, with breathtaking views over the Mediterranean and a peaceful atmosphere that makes it easy to unwind. The service was consistently outstanding. Every member of the team was warm, professional and genuinely attentive, always going the extra mile to make us feel welcome. The concierge team was particularly impressive, helping us with excellent recommendations and every request throughout our stay. The facilities are beautifully maintained, the rooms are spacious and elegant, and the food was of a very high standard across the hotel. Breakfast deserves a special mention for its exceptional quality and variety. Travelling with children, we also appreciated how family-friendly the hotel is without compromising its luxurious feel. It strikes a rare balance between relaxed sophistication and genuine hospitality. Jumeirah Mallorca is a destination we would happily return to and one of the finest luxury hotels we have experienced. Highly recommended.
