Property has been slightly updated. I was very impressed by the location! Ocean front property at a reasonable price. The room had a kitchen for those who like to cook on vacation! Living and dining area was very nice. Bedroom were spacious only negative was the it didn’t have a mattress just the box spring and memory foam padding . The bathroom was ok outdated but everything worked as it should. I did pay extra for ocean front view. It did disappoint as you would have to stand and stare out the window to get a view from inside or stand by the door. Outside the door it did have a nice outdoor area but no view if you were seating. The walk to the beach was short, along the was they had a beach toy box and an outdoor rinse area. The property provided lounging chairs and umbrellas for the beach so you do not need to bring your own. The pool area was nice I didn’t go in the pool as it was kept too warm for me. They also had a putt putt area. Over all the property was great at a great location and near restaurants and entertainment. I would definitely book again but would not pay extra for the ocean front view unless it’s on the second floor.

It has a nice spot on the beach and the property was better than I expected for the price. It was occupied by older clientele, lots of families. The staff was courteous, the pool was clean, and the beach umbrellas plentiful. Will keep this in mind for future vacations.

Nice quant place to stay for reasonable price. Parking is a little tight so bring a small vehicle. Room was nice, just had a little ant problem. Otherwise the beach is nice and the staff was very friendly.

You can not put ac on the temp you want . It’s a very low key place pool needed vacuuming.It does have a charm but don’t think I’ll be staying there again

This hotel was just perfect!! It is right on the beach and comes with towels, beach chairs, umbrellas, even little tables and some beach toys. They had a BBQ and covered eating area that was perfect. They have bikes you can rent, free use of the washing machine and even a small continental breakfast, which was a pleasant surprise. It is walking distance to many restaurants, and has a nice, warm pool. The hotel is small and quiet and has plenty of parking. It really was the perfect place to stay. We thought it would be great for a future family get together. The staff were super nice and helpful.

We liked the new pool, beach, amenities like comfortable king bed, lots of charging outlets in lamp bases, cleanliness, friendly staff, loved the front patio and seating, coffee, light breakfast, bottled water, pool towels, shampoo etc, so what if updates needed here and there.. part of the charm.Will return!

The woman at the front desk was extremely helpful and gave us an early entry and encouraged a late stay. The grounds are nicely maintained with beautiful access to the beach, the rooms were not clean and they were very antiquated , in need of renovations. The room needed a good cleaning,especially the floors. The couch in the living room was disgusting and we couldn't even sit on it.The beds were clean and comfortable, surprisingly so.

This is indeed an older property that has immense character. If you are looking for shiny and new, this isn’t your place. However, if you are looking for extremely clean and comfortable, steps from the beach, and convenient to everything in Delray Beach, this is certainly your place. From the warm welcome given us by Crystal in the office to the crisp white sheets on the bed to the free beach chairs and towels, I enjoyed everything about my stay and would most definitely stay here again!

The Hotel is perfectly located. Manager, Tracy and all the staff were very friendly, attentive and accommodating. Our room was very comfortable and clean. the proximity to the beach was an extra bonus… Love it. I will definitely return. Thank you for the excellent customer service.

DelRay Breakers was a mixed bag and a three star overall rating seems fair. On the plus side, our room was clean and spacious, with a comfortable king-sized bed. Housekeeping was excellent and the staff was friendly and approachable. And the proximity to the beach was really nice. On the minus side, the property is badly need of renovation - caulking, painting, re-tiling in the bathroom. The continental breakfast was mostly packaged muffins and bagels. We expected a little more for the price. And we had no hot water for half our stay. We let the office know about that Friday morning. I’d think that would be an urgent thing but it wasn’t fixed until mid-morning on Saturday. It wasn’t the worst place but we’re unlikely to return.

The unit we stayed in was disgusting. When we first arrived at 5:30, the main office was already closed. Check in was at 5. Then when we got to the room, it was dirty and some kind of pet hair all over. The bathrooms were falling apart and there was mold all over. If we had another place to stay, I would have left immediately. Thank goodness we were there only 1 night. Even the cable box was hanging from the wall. The remote was sticky and dirty. The fridge was loud!!! It was all we heard all night. I reached out to the front office and told them and all they said was that they appreciate the feedback and that they will do a deep clean. They should have done a deep clean for us. Yuck!

Chose this property based on reviews saying how clean the rooms are. I was expecting a dated property with no amenities such as restaurant/bar but was expecting it to be clean and not in need of repairs and maintenance. Floors seeping adhesive when walking on throughout the unit, had to constantly wipe up green adhesive on the floors because they were not properly installed. Floors left our feet so black we ended up buying cleaning products to clean. Walls and tiles cracked everywhere, furniture was so dirty I had to put sheets over it so we could sit on it. Found packages of condoms under one of the beds. The only good thing about it was the location directly on the beach. Asked for a 1 hour later checkout and was given attitude by Crystal in office. Woman who checked us in was nice and pleasant but Crystal mumbled under her breath while conversing with us. Was not expecting the Ritz but expected a clean place. The hotel is right on the beach which is great. But the rooms were SEVERELY outdated, and I am being generous here. The bathroom felt particularly unsanitary. It was very expensive for what it was IMHO. Most of the furniture should have been thrown in the trash. We asked housekeeping to vacuum the floor in the living room area as my friend broke a glass. I don’t think they ever did. Glass remained when we returned from a day out. I ended up stepping on a small sliver of glass the same day. I then swept the place myself. Being at the beach, you carry sand in. It would be nice if they gave a quick vacuum daily. I ended up sweeping up daily including numerous bits of glass! We asked for shampoo and even left a note in the bathroom but it never came.

I love how convenient it was to the beach. The place was nice just needed to update a few things inside like paint touch up and add TV in bedrooms. A better WiFi connection. But made the best of it and enjoyed the experience.

The property was hard to find at night, but I finally found it. I got in late, around 11pm and the office was closed... ghost town. I tried to call the hotel and Expedia, with no luck. Luckily I noticed a small box outside of the office, labeled "after hours guests". Sure enough, there was an envelope inside with my name on it, containing my key. Very stressful until I discovered that. Would have been nice to know the office closes at such and such a time, and if you arrive after that, look in the box. Also, the property is very run down, but no big deal as I\'m just sleeping and getting up for a meeting.

The Hotel is perfectly located. Manager, Tracy and all the staff were very friendly, attentive and accommodating. Our room was very comfortable and clean. the proximity to the beach was an extra bonus… Love it. I will definitely return. Thank you for the excellent customer service.

This is the perfect location for a quiet beach getaway. We were close to downtown Delray for great choice of restaurants and activities, and yet so relaxing at the beach. Staff was great and helpful. We'll be back!

This hotel was just perfect!! It is right on the beach and comes with towels, beach chairs, umbrellas, even little tables and some beach toys. They had a BBQ and covered eating area that was perfect. They have bikes you can rent, free use of the washing machine and even a small continental breakfast, which was a pleasant surprise. It is walking distance to many restaurants, and has a nice, warm pool. The hotel is small and quiet and has plenty of parking. It really was the perfect place to stay. We thought it would be great for a future family get together. The staff were super nice and helpful.

Tricia was very friendly and very welcome. Hotel is very nice. Not fancy but very well kept. Only negative point is due to the breakfast, a very very simple grab and go. Don’t hesitate to spend some days at this hotel.

DelRay Breakers was a mixed bag and a three star overall rating seems fair. On the plus side, our room was clean and spacious, with a comfortable king-sized bed. Housekeeping was excellent and the staff was friendly and approachable. And the proximity to the beach was really nice. On the minus side, the property is badly need of renovation - caulking, painting, re-tiling in the bathroom. The continental breakfast was mostly packaged muffins and bagels. We expected a little more for the price. And we had no hot water for half our stay. We let the office know about that Friday morning. I’d think that would be an urgent thing but it wasn’t fixed until mid-morning on Saturday. It wasn’t the worst place but we’re unlikely to return.

The place is a little slice of Americana in a world of high rises. The staff are on site all of the time and want to make sure your stay is fantastic. The private beach with lounges and umbrellas is wonderful. Trish and her staff are communicative, there is housekeeping everyday, and cold AC, hot water, hot coffee and luxurious bath towels to boot! We WILL be back!

Room was full of ants. They only sprayed vinegar when brought to their attention. Says full kitchen but doesn’t have an oven anymore, hardly any cooking utensils. I have been going for about 4 years and it has changed and not in a good way. To Corporate like then the hometown feel from before. Pet fee used to be 75 a visit now it’s 75 a day which is ridiculous.
