Spacious 500 sqft Studio with Balboa Park View

My girlfriend love it so much that we would like to come back

Owners were attentive and helpful. Central location. Just needed more storage/space for bathroom items.

Pros: Good location. Near Little Italy and Balboa Park. Clean linens. Toilet and shower looked clean. Ear plugs provided and needed from plane noise. Host quick to respond. Cons: Had to message host to get access at check in. Check in was 3 and we messaged at 3:15. Room was tired and in rough shape. The window to the balcony had a head sized hole in the glass. Door appeared to have been kicked in at some point and repair attempted. Walls, trim, and doors were filthy. Both couches covered in stains. When asked the host said they were cleaned with bleach by the cleaners? My teens were being asked to sleep on the pull out under these stained cushions. They were not impressed by that, water spots on frame, spring sticking out and constant squeaking. Floors didn’t appear to have been cleaned as after less than an hour walking on them we all had black feet/socks. Light doesnt turn off on balcony. Four towels and 4 pillows provided for 4 people for 3 days. Host responded to concerns by asking to meet in room to review. Nothing they could do while we were there to truly fix it. Offered to let us out but notified when we had already left for the day with less than an hour to get out. With only one day left we just sucked it up and finished the stay. Online photos show maybe the look on day one but certainly don’t reflect current appearance.

Great location, I was able to walk to the Balboa Park very easy. They had everything that we needed. The planes do fly right overhead, so it can be loud and there were some homeless people across the street, but other than that, everything was great.

Very spacious! Plenty of room for the family!
