Very tidy new property in a convenient location. I was taking a last-minute trip to Waitomo with my young child and decided on Argent for an overnight stay -- and I'm glad we did! We had everything we needed during our visit: comfortable beds, spacious bathrooms with nice toiletries, a kitchenette ... even milk in the fridge for morning coffee! Graeme was incredibly helpful getting us settled into our rooms (despite us being the final guests to check in for the day), and answered all my questions. I absolutely plan on staying here during my next visit to Hamilton.

Great welcome and people. Nice big room with good amenities. Would like a recycling bin for bottles etc. The towel holder in the bathroom fell off the wall and hit me in the foot - a wee screw in the base of that would stop it happening again. Comfortable mattress, sheets like cardboard. Very clean sheets. Everything i needed was there and the place was so close to the hospital, super convenient.

What an amazing find. So clean, well equipped and the staff were very friendly. Our room was nearest to the roadside and was very quiet on the first night. Second night (midweek) the road was much busier and there was an extremely loud helicopter overhead at around 5am, presumably heading to the nearby hospital. This wouldn't stop me booking again though.

Relatively good. Staff was great. Downside is you can hear the neighbors closing and opening thir doors it kept me up. This is a good spot if you have family that needs to be in the hospital and you want to be nearby

The owner of the hotel absolutely goes out of his way to look after his guests - many of whom are hospital patients (pre or post surgery) and he doesn't hesitate to offer them a lift to the hospital if needed. It is a true kindness.

Amazing thoughtful service and support for those visiting the hospital, including a lift up in time for early appointments so don’t have to handle the parking and willingness to consider anything else may need to make things easier. The manager of the property was very kind and offered to drive us into town so that we could have a dinner and drinks without worrying about our vehicle. He was very sweet and pleasant to talk to and gave us recommendations for the rest of our stay in the north island. The property was very clean and quiet and the kitchenette was convenient for early morning coffee before we headed out. Highly recommended!

When i booked this motel at the last minute due to a unexpected hospital visit i had to make i got a call from the manager who just casually said, you are most welcome to check in early as the room is ready if you would like. I thought this was amazing. Plus the property was absolutely perfect.

We had a great stay. We were in Hamilton for a couple of nights for the Kirikiriroa marathon which was conveniently walking distance from the start line. Room was comfortable and clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful

We would highly recommend the Argent Motor Lodge. Its facilities were excellent, very clean with everything you need. The owner Graeme was brilliant - very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Its location next to Waikato Hospital is really convenient.
