The Manoir was quite clean and the staff very courteous. It was very convenient to get to off of highway 10. I was not clear whether there was private parking for the Manoir we parked on the street in front of a house. Overall we were quite satisfied.

J'ADORE le Manoir Ramezay. C'est une petite perle à Marieville, tranquille et paisible. Ce manoir de pierre offre aussi une terrace sur l'étage supérieur où on retrouve un spa bien entretenu et des hamacs. C'est parfait pour relaxer, à un coût très abordable.

Comfortable rooms and nice breakfast. Front porch on a major road but a park across the street. Heritage building so lots of wood and stone. Easy to get to amenities but not alot within walking distance. Heard some wonderful music at a summer concert across the road.

The place is in serious need of TLC. The head of the bed was falling off, they were holes in the wall, the fridge, AC were noisy and the deck and patio furniture needed replacing. The jacuzzi on the deck was good, the owners are friendly. But, lucky I speak Mandarin. It is quiet and well-located.

Aucune information à notre arrivée. Difficile de nous faire servir en français. Toiles d'araignées au plafond. Moisissures au plafond de la salle de bain. Bain et toilette qui ne s'écoulent pas bien. L'endroit est bien insonorisé. Manoir qui a un bon potentiel mais qui semble négligé.

C'était ok! Je recommanderai seulement si vous avez un budget à respecter, parce que ca pourrait être plus clean. Il y avait présence de toiles d'araignées/poussières dans le haut des murs de notre chambre et sur les luminaires. L'air climatisé dans la chambre fait quand même beaucoup de bruit. Le moins positif est que c'est proche de bons petits resto dans la ville!

Older building renovated into hotel. Rooms were very clean and quaint. Exterior needed upgraded renovations due to building age and structure. Has good potential but upgrades and required. Has a very good location and potential. Bed was ok but again upgrades needed. Room was ok not furnished for comfort.

It is evident that there was a change of ownership recently. The Cafe is now separately owned operated. Contrary to the listing, there is no breakfast provided and limited options locally. The current staff kind but limited in engagement. Furniture was tattered and there wasn’t a refrigerator in the room. Overall it felt like a hospice vibe. There wasn’t a spare roll of toilet paper. We had to go seek that. Exposed electrical on the bedside light. Unfortunately, I would not recommend until/unless significant efforts are made to honour the listing and show care and attention to the rooms themselves.

Nous avons réservé pour deux chambres et l'air climatisé portatif est simplement insuffisant, surtout considérant que nous allions fermer la porte de la 2e chambre. Comme il n'y a pas de moustiquaire aux fenêtres, nous avons demandé un 2e Ac ou un ventilateur pour la pièce fermée. On nous a apporté un ventilateur très sale que nous avons lavé pendant plus de 20 minutes avant qu'il soit utilisable. Lacunes à l'accueil alors que l'hôtesse ne parle ni anglais, ni français. Odeur d'égout émanant des toilettes. Autrement, bel endroit, bon emplacement, terrasse agŕéable.

very expensive ( 350 $ )for two nights for a very small room with no decor , cheap furniture, very small window looking at the parking lot, a portable ac with a big plastic pipe that takes a lot of space, no micro wave or fridge in the room, very uncomfortable soft bed, very small washroom and uncomfortable tub, smallest flat screen tv on the market, and this is supposed to be the superior room... first and last time for me.

Very old building which adds to the nostalgia. Small rooms, somewhat uncomfortable beds and the heater cannot be on at the same time as the hair dryer (I found this out the hard way). You have to be very quiet moving around the hotel as your footsteps are loud. Small town and not much to do at all. However, I would stay there again. The owner was very polite and kind.

A notre arrivée il y a un mariage civil dans le restaurent sous le manoir qui fait plus parti de l’établissement ,donc impossible d’utiliser la façade du manoir. La vitre de la porte principal est en morceau depuis des mois , la communication avec la préposé a l'accueil est très difficile elle parle pas les deux langues du québec ou presque pas . je regrette mon choix d’établissement . Oublier les belle photo de la page Facebook ,il était selon moi de l’ancien propriétaire

Les propriétaires du manoir ne comprennent pas vraiment le français ni l’anglais. Il y’a donc eu des malentendus et certaines de nos questions sont restées sans réponse. Ceux qui nous ont répondu n’étaient pas très sympathiques. La chambre n’était pas à l’image de la photo du site internet. Ce qui a causé une déception à notre arrivée. La bâtisse est belle et a un très beau potentiel mais dans les mains des propriétaires actuels elle est laissée à l’abandon et elle n’est pas entretenue à sa juste valeur. Le tuyau d’aire climatisé qui sortait par la fenêtre ne nous permettait de fermer les rideaux correctement et la seule couverture du lit était trop légère et pas assez chaude. Nous avons eu froid toute la nuit. Ils ont investi le minimum possible et ça paraît. Ne vaut pas le prix payé. Ressemble plus à un motel qu’à un manoir.

The room was clean but the service was terrible, the lady at the front desk did not go out of her way to make us feel welcome at all. We asked if we could check in early as we drove through the night from Ontario ( little over 8 hours) to attend a military graduation and notice an empty room on the way from the back parking lot, she told us that she didnt have any rooms available when we had just seen one. Then asked if we could at least use the handicap bathroom near the front desk so we could change our clothes and freshen up and again she said no. We left very disappointed. During our supper with the family at around 6:00pm, she calls us asking for payment to keep our room or she would give it to someone else, so because everything was booked in Saint Jean sur Richelieu and we needed a place to sleep we paid it over the phone, unwillingly, and to add to the check-in your websits states 11:00pm. When we got to the hotel that evening around 8ish, the room she gave us was the empty room we saw in the morning. We will neved stay there again not because the hotel was not nice, only because of the lady's lack of customer service, and unfriendliness.

Very disappointed with the service. First, they didn’t answer the phone, and when we arrived, the only staff member on site didn’t speak French, spoke very limited English, and wasn’t very friendly. We had rented four rooms for the weekend, yet they still wanted to charge us $200 just to use their breakfast room—which wasn’t even being used for the rest of the day—so we could gather together. Overall, a very disappointing experience. The photos looked great, and the manoir itself was nice, but it’s actually located right in the middle of the village, not on a large property as it appears online. The breakfast was also very limited. Do not recommend at all.

I enjoyed our stay at Manoir Ramezay. The building is picturesque. Each room (we rented three) was not spacious, but large enough, and each was charmingly decorated with wood accents. The breakfast was ordinary (I don’t like those wooden utensils) but I didn’t leave feeling hungry. There was ample parking and a ramp to roll luggage up - so much more convenient than stairs. Not generic, but not superior either.
