The noise at night is very loud from the bar next to the hotel until early morning and they even provide earplugs (big warning sign!)! The employee at the reception was not very pleasant or helpful. Our room was nice but some towels didn’t seem fresh and the bed cover was dirty. We were very disappointed and I do not recommend!

I knew it would be noisy. That wasn’t the problem. When we checked in and tried to take a shower, the entire unit fell out of the wall. After this was reported to reception, they told us no other rooms were available and the only compensation they could offer was late check out the other day. I was told I could email the manager, and I did. No reply, even 3 days after check out. I looked to hotels.com for advocacy and was denied monetary compensation for being stuck in a room without a working bathroom or alternative accommodation. I wouldn’t choose Kavia or hotels.com again.

The staff were terrific, and the property was located conveniently near restaurants, shops and the beaches. That being said, the room was small with an insufficient number of electrical outlets. The bathroom was very small, and the shower was the size you might find in an RV!

Hotel was great and location perfect BUT you should be aware of the noise. You can hear anything and everything. The restaurants blast music till 2-3am. I wish more reviews noted this as we likely would not have stayed. I looked at google reviews and found out too late. Air conditioning is very average, don’t expect a cool night but that was easier to deal with than the street noise and music.

Also, if you don’t want to be disturbed at night, don’t stay at this hotel, there is a bar/night place next door and you can hear the music at night!

Aside from the loud music until 2 am, this hotel is marvellous. Small historic property that has been renovated. The rooms are not overly roomy, but were fine, as mostly just there to sleep and freshen up.

This hotel, at first glance, seems very nice. But it seriously lacks some of the most basic amenities. 1) no tea or coffee in the room. Nope, not a kettle, a coffee maker, or anything. 2) no extra pillows or blankets in the room. 3) it’s great to have a porch with chairs but if you can’t sit on the chairs because they don’t have cushions it’s a complete waste. And finally, if a guest requests a late check out please explain why it’s being declined. So overall it’s just average and not really worth the price.

I was in the disabled room where I was unable to reach the plug point to charge my phone. This should be a wheel chair height. I had to ask for a kettle and there is no safe in the room. But apart from that the staff were so helpful and friendly and the position of the hotel was in the heart of all the restaurants which was great for me.

Veldig fint hotell i sentrum, kort vei til alt. Derfor litt støy fra rommet, men dette plagde oss ikke spesielt. Synes ikke de som jobbet på hotellet var spesielt serviceinnstilt. Vi kom ca en time før innsjekkstid (16:00), fikk da beskjed om at rommet ikke var klart før dette (som selvsagt er helt i orden). Da vi kom tilbake 16:30 var rommet fremdeles ikke klart, så vi måtte vente. Det var ingen unnskyldning eller noe. Ellers var det fint hotell. Anbefaler spesielt et av suite-rommene med lite badekar på balkongen.

All the receptionists were cheerful, knowledgeable and pleasant. We struck up several conversations with each of them. The hotel is situated in the heart of Cascais town within walking distance of everything from beach, dining, marina and shopping. A car is not needed unless you wish to go out of town. This is the second time we stayed at this hotel and we plan an always staying there as we love the whole atmosphere of the area.

lovely Hotel in the center of gosh guy a great room, the breakfast was very disappointing. no breakfast buffet just a pretty prepared tablet with some toast and a few fruit. however the location is fabulous although you cannot get there by car directly you need to walk a little, we should be fine for most people but if you have a lot of luggage, it might be bothersome. all in all I liked it and would return.

Un hôtel horrible. Nous sommes partis dès la première nuit alors que nous devions rester 3 jours. Le bruit du bar boîte de nuit en bas de 18h à 3h du matin est juste horrible, il est impossible de dormir. Le petit déjeuner est lamentable avec du café imbuvable et 3 tranches de pain qui se courent après, des yaourts pas au frais, idéal pour tomber malade. Sans parler de la salle sans fenêtre.

Razoável. Há prós e contras. Na recepção uma pessoa que só falava inglês tinha dificuldade em falar português em Portugal. A localização é ótimo, no entanto é de difícil acesso para automóveis, já que fica numa área alta com acesso por escadaria. Automóveis, malas, tudo difícil. Tanto barulho à noite, por causa dos bares com música ao vivo que o hotel oferece tampões de ouvido, que sequer diminuem o ruído. Café da manhã muito básico.

Cette établissement nous a beaucoup plus globalement, mais la réceptionniste qui nous à accueilli le 1er jour n'était pas très accueillante, et pour la 2ème fois cette année la clim ne fonctionnait pas, ils nous ont changé de chambre seulement le lendemain en début de soirée car le patron était en vacances et qu'il fallait le contacter pour tout. Le petit-déjeuner continental est correct. Très bonne emplacement,propre,personnels très gentil, souriants,accueillants... à part bien sûre la 1ère. Un grand Merci à Carla très gentille et très serviable aussi, elle se déplacé a n'importe quel moments pour nous chercher des glaçons.
