Pegasus Motor Inn and Serviced Apartments

Great location. Neat and tidy rooms. Easy check in process. No kitchette as stated in the app only tea and coffee making facilities. Tried to get clean coffee cups for 2 days and still didn’t get them. Communication and house keeping not great. Arrived late and went to try the restaurant but it closed early due to no customers. Tried both spas and neither seemed to work. This place has great potential but needs some improvements.

Secure underground parking exit door wouldn’t open early morning… needed to get to connecting holiday transport- very stressful. Had other motel guests unable to open door too- had to exit via very steep and difficult entrance. Very stressful and rang reception who told me that would have to wait for door technician!!!!

Nice stay with free underground parking and free laundry available downstairs. Walkable to port area. Clean and comfortable. Would stay again.

Easy to book and access, off street undercover parking and in a good location for rental cars and airport. Clean and tidy

Staff was great, dining was well priced and delicious. Pool was clean and we enjoyed the swim.

Good location. Comfortable beds. Vending machines for snacks were a great addition. Pool and spa awesome. Keyless entry was good. Parking available as well. Definitely recommend.

As we were only at the motel for 1 night we can't rate the pool or surrounds. The room we found very clean and the bed was so comfortable. Everything we needed was there for our use. The motel is very handy with a restaurant and also walking distance to the local bowls club. The undercover parking for our vehicle was excellent. We will definitely be going back to stay when we are in Brisbane. Highly recommend the Pegasus Motel.

Glad I only took a small car as my big vehicle may not have fitted in the basement parking.

I liked the secure car parking. The rooms were big and functional. Onsite laundry was handy. Short walk to Train station & Gallopers Club. I did have issues with checking in as I hadn't filled out the forms correctly? I needed to add CC details even though the room was fully paid for thru a 3rd party agent. But the call centre lady fixed the issue reasonably quickly.

Room 5 Had really bad foot odour which stunk the room out and the pools were not cleaned and the sauna did not work

Room size and location was great. Microwave in the room would have been great. Housekeeping only once in 7 Days. Sofa bed in the room was very dirty and probably not used for quite some time.

The room was spacious generally clean to a point. Had the oldest TV and AC I have seen in a long time. Worst part was the partner woke up at 3am with bites all over her, after we pulled back the blankets we could see bed bugs crawling on the sheet. We where leaving for a cruise the next day now she has bites all over her arms and legs. Do not recommend

The room was neat but it was filthy, mould all through the sink & shower looks like it’s never cleaned properly. Just a flat sheet over the mattress which too was so disgusting. The floors left our feet black. No microwave in room, kettle was not very cleanly, fridge froze our supplies and there was half a jug of water which had floaties of some kind… i bought disinfectant wipes after arrival. Shared facilities were also very poorly kept pool was not heated and after the state of the room I wasn’t willing to try the pools, “spa” also not heater or the restaurant..

It was very easy to book the room and we found it clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom felt clean and updated.

This hotel could be good but it’s not clean or well maintained. Disgusting bathrooms. Very shady people around when we returned after going out for dinner. No staff just a code provides as a room key so good luck if you need help during your stay

We found dust on the couch top, the water jug top was dirty and we had to clean it before using, shower screen door frame was showing some dirt/mould. In gerneral, we felt that the presentation could be improved

There is no staff or reception just an online check in. Very over priced accomodation and black mould in the bathroom. Never again.

No complaints about the staff or the amenities, however the room Room 2) was old and needs an urgent upgrade. The bed was terrible and the decor was old.

The check in process was completely done by sms. No human contact. I spent so much of my time waiting for code to be sent to me. I could hear my neighbours clearly. The room was in desperate need of maintenance if not a renovation. Carparks were small. I'm not very tall so it didn't bother me but my husband who is of normal height struggled with the shower height. He couldn't get his head under with bending his knees.

The actual building was lovely and well kept. The stairs were very steep and several flights so be fit and careful when using them. The location was great. The room was in need of a renovation and there was something wrong with the wiring ?? ( lights were oddly being turned on by power outlets that completely shouldn’t be connected to the particular light system . Also the only power point that worked was behind the tv ..). The windows were double glazed which was absolutely fantastic and very quiet. The check in was easy and no problems. Check out was great too. Would we stay again yes we would .

Aircon in room was not cold. Shower head had bad leak

Rooms run down, air conditioning was so noisy that it prevents sleep. Your choice is a room too hot and stuffy to sleep, or a room too noisy to sleep. Either way, no sleep. No staff on site to solve problems. Very disappointing.

We had a great room. Beds were really comfortable, easy check in process with codes for the doors. We would definitely stay there again.

Old and run down. The beds in our room was so terrible we left at 12.30am and drove home. Uncomfortable and made us all itchy! Sad that everything is done online so saw no staff or reception.

I booked this accommodation to save me 1.5hrs in the morning with driving to the airport. I booked this premise because it had 24hr check-in listed and was close to the airport. The check-in process is flawed - it requires you to keep a watch out for a link to lodge your ID online. It had not specified this when I booked that afternoon. As soon as I arrived I saw reception was closed I looked on my phone and found this email and did as requested, however, no code to access the premise was forthcoming. I then called a number on the front door and waited on hold for about 20mins as they were too busy. When I finally got through they explained they felt my photo had been blurry (it wasn't). I re-sent it and then eventually after a 30min delay I was in my room. This process is terribly inconvenient and misleading from the term 24-hr check-in. I don't think properties offering a service where they can get overloaded on the phones should be allowed on a Wotif service without specifying that will be the 24hr check-in process. I spoke to other guests and they agreed their check-in experience had been awful and delayed also. Also, my iron was not working so I had to request another from that same phone line, and it took 30mins for a replacement to arrive at the room. Honestly, next time I'll just stay at home and do the commute to the airport.

The staff less check in process is very difficult and timely while you stand outside freezing your ass off,2 people who had been through it tried to help and still struggled as they also did. After flying for 20 hours it’s the last problem you need

Would never stay there again. Staff were not that helpful. We arrived around midday they changed us an extra $20 for an early check in. Greedy, they had lots of vacant rooms that we could see.

the check in was horrible, I waited on hold for an hour to talk to someone... when I finally got connected they hung up on me and I had to call back and wait on hold for another 20 minutes. All the while my staff member was waiting at the property with a line of at least 15 guests all waiting to be checked in and only one person working. Was the worst experience, will not be booking here again.

The "automated" check in system is a disaster as well as the automated marketing system, never had so many irritating emails and sms messages from a motel. They should dump the whole system and put people on the desk again

Arriving on a flight close to midnight being able to have the code sent earlier in the day was so helpful and made it very easy to scythe room . Not actually dealing with any staff was strange

The room itself was ok, the bed was comfortable and it was clean. However, the check in process is terrible there is no one at reception no contact with anyone in person at all. Customer service is non existent. I wouldn’t stay here again there are better motel on Kingsford Smith drive that actually provide good customer service and are just as close to airport and transport into city.

Checkin/out all done via SMS with keycodes so easy and convenient. Room (apartment living) was excellent. Highly recommend

The Pegasus suited our purpose perfectly: somewhere easy to access and safe and comfortable to sleep.

This motel was convenient to the airport parking, shops also walking distance to a club for dinner. They also had a restaurant which was convenient without having drive. Staff were helpful also. Would recommend this motel.

Easy location with restaurants close by. The river cat was accessible too.

Really nice room and good to have a fridge. Super convenient for the airport and lovely neighbourhood. Coffee at Walt’s around the corner was memorable. Contactless reception was easy and what we needed as we came in on a late flight that was delayed. The last thing you want to stress about is hotel reception waiting for you

Excellent location to Brisbane Airport.

Conveniently located, 10+ minute walk to wharf area. Great selection of eateries. Room was a bit dated, but had everything you needed. Bed was comfortable and the shower very good.

Room was in between the city and the airport the location was great, the breakfast packs were unavailable, there was graffitti in the shower. Other than that the room was clean. Unfortunatley there was no toaster or a microwave, and the fridge froze everything that was in it.

The room was clean but smelt strongly of air freshener, like it was covering something up. Toilet seat was incorrect size. The whole facility needs a makeover. Food took well over an hour to arrive but the cook was lovely, she was working alone including room service. It was reasonable quiet for being next to a busy road which was good

Clean and close to the airport. The staff were friendly and the chef made me a good dinner. I will always come back to this hotel.

Restaurant was very basic. No atmosphere. Wines were over priced. Meal was average. No tourist information on site.

Management would be wise to consider customer service as a priority. When I arrived it was raining and almost dark. No clear indication of garaging process or how to actually get into your room. A big thank you to Kelly (cook/chef). I was located in the area of the restaurant and she kindly assisted me. Wonderful to be able to get a meal inhouse as it rained for 3 days straight. The room was comfortable however customer service was non existent. Being sent emails and texts to facilitate my check in/out did not impress. My time being taken up completing management’s work.
