Bom o atendimento na recepção. A localização é muito boa, no início da avenida mais movimentada e charmosa da cidade. Café da manhã com poucas opções. Aliás, gostaria de entender o limite de um ovo por pessoa. Nunca tinha visto isso. Prefira quartos afastados da recepção em razão do barulho. No banheiro só há lugar para pendurar uma toalha, ficando difícil resolver sobre uma segunda, que era nosso caso. Mas o banho é bom. O quarto é muito pequeno. Tem uma cama “queen” com um colchão muito duro. Possui cofre, mas não tem frigobar, nem TV. Um móvel com três cabides para pendurar roupas e três pequenos espaços para colocar roupas dobradas é o que tivemos para resolver as malas. Em resumo: extremamente desconfortável. Como tínhamos chegado de uma viagem desde Torres de Paine (cerca de 5 horas de carro), e não tínhamos nenhuma programação para o dia, resolvemos ficar no bar do próprio hotel (Casa de los Pioneros). Quando chegamos a ele, por volta das 20:00, fomos informados de que o bar não funcionaria porque o responsável estava enfermo. Só vimos o bar aberto na nossa última noite. Em resumo, acredito que o custo, equivalente a US$ 150 a diária, é alto demais para os poucos benefícios oferecidos. Não voltaria.

Hotel bem localizado, fomos super bem tratados. Café da manhã muito bom, gostamos bastante. Esta a pouco metros da Rua principal o que é muito conveniente en el Calafate. O quarto tinha uma única janela que não dava para abrir, o colchão afundava um pouco mas estava bem para uma noite. Tem opções para comer no proprio hotel. Não tem frigobar mas tem uma geladeira na recepção do hotel que pode ser usada.

Rooms were a little hot at night as the weather in Calafate was much warmer than usual, no a/c but rooms were clean and comfortable. A little noisy at times with people walking past the balconies. Great location with the Main Street a few minutes walk away and a nice park across the road. Augustin on the front desk was fantastic and helped us book a couple of excursions, get some laundry done and gave us some good recommendations for places to eat and for drinks. Great guy!

The hotel is centrally located, close to downtown and the front desk staff are outgoing and helpful. There is a shortcut to the bus station which works well if you just have a backpack. For larger luggage, you will need a taxi. There are lots of dining options in the downtown area, and the street is lined with many shops, which was surprising for this small town. The breakfast is adequate and they will serve you a portion of scrambled eggs on request. The rooms are a bit tight, and not sound proof, and the shower setup wasn’t in the best shape. If you have a room on the first floor and have a lot of luggage, you’ll have to haul it up the stairs. Given the location, convenience, and included breakfast, this is an ok place for a couple of nights.

O Hotel não é no centro mas da tranquilamente para ir andando, café da manhã super bom e quarto ótimo com cama confortável. A única coisa que não gostei foi a Piscina que não funciona água quente, alegram que só iria funcionar fim de semana.

I liked the room however the walls need to be cleaned. Watch out for the kitchen lady. She will not allow you to pack your own breakfast to go. Everything must be eaten in front of her in the dining room. Many tours start early so it would be nice of them to allow breakfast to go. Other places will pack it for you.

Hotel bem localizado, começo da rua principal. Mercado,cafés e estaurantes perto. Dá para fazer muira coisa à pé. Staff muito atencioso e prestativo. Café da manhã com panquecas, ovos mexidos feitos na hora, iogurtes e salada de frutas, nada espetacular, porém justo! As condições do hotel deixam um pouco a desejar...a porta do chuveiro e do vaso, são de correr, o que causa um barulho enorme, sendo que não estão em boas condições... A acústica do corredor é " ótima" ouve- se tudo!

The hotel’s exterior and communal areas are lovely, the same can’t be said about our room which is a shame. Style over substance. The room was a good size however it is the hardest mattress I have ever slept on! There was not a lot of light in the room either and the bathroom was very haphazard in construction.

Nice clean room, no issues. Good breakfast - continental style, scrabbled eggs, toast, pancakes. Friendly staff - they run their own local tour agency, which we used for our three trips, all picking up from the hotel. Hotel well situated for centre of town, a few 100m away.

Rooms were a little hot at night as the weather in Calafate was much warmer than usual, no a/c but rooms were clean and comfortable. A little noisy at times with people walking past the balconies. Great location with the Main Street a few minutes walk away and a nice park across the road. Augustin on the front desk was fantastic and helped us book a couple of excursions, get some laundry done and gave us some good recommendations for places to eat and for drinks. Great guy!

Front desk reception was extremely unhelpful. My trip took 12 hours longer than expected. I arrived at 9:28am after missing the night in the hotel. Breakfast normally ended at 9:30am. Even though I was 2 minutes before the deadline, I was told I could not get breakfast, even after my delayed travel experience. The lady in the kitchen was going to make me eggs, but the receptionist went out of her way to cancel the order. Generally, the receptionist seemed to enjoy exercising 'petty' power.

Check-in: Sep 29, 2024 Check-out: Oct 3, 2024 We booked our room months in advance. We asked for a queen size bed. When we arrived in the hotel, there was only one person to check us in. I understand that she, Andre, was doing her best. She was pleasant and welcoming but it took about 40 minutes to check in due to having to answer many, many questions from guests who were checking in before us. To wait that long to check in is quite unacceptable in any hotel. Not good. The hotel should have another person to assist with check in. She believed we had booked a room with two twin beds but we had requested a queen size bed. When she finally took us to our room, it looked nothing like the photos we had seen on Expedia. The room was extremely small, not clean, old and unkept (rust, furniture in bad shape) no TV, a window with a view to a small piece of dirt and walls, no safe for our passports, only two bath towels and two hand towels. We were shocked and disappointed. Again, that looked nothing like the photos shown on Expedia. We left the hotel immediately. We never had such a frustrating experience at a hotel. We felt deceived because we would never have booked and paid in advance for a room like the one they gave us.

For larger luggage, you will need a taxi. There are lots of dining options in the downtown area, and the street is lined with many shops, which was surprising for this small town. The breakfast is adequate and they will serve you a portion of scrambled eggs on request. The rooms are a bit tight, and not sound proof, and the shower setup wasn’t in the best shape. If you have a room on the first floor and have a lot of luggage, you’ll have to haul it up the stairs. Nice hotel within walking distance of the main street in El Calafate with restaurants and bars. Reception staff were very helpful and welcoming. The breakfast was fairly basic, but did offer cooked eggs on request. The room was nice - ours was on a heated corridor and also had under-floor heating - which was very useful for drying clothes and boots after a rainy day.

Very welcome from the start we came in at the reception. Nice excursion offert. The only thing that can be better is the service at the breakfast. A lot of things weren't filled. We saw the staff with 3 persons sitting and having their own food. When asked for what we missed, the faced looked bored and only stood up like a minute later. It wassen't that late during breakfast so is wasn't the end off breakfast yet. My advise would be to look constantly what is missing at the breakfast buffet so guests don't miss anything.

Nice clean room, no issues. Good breakfast - continental style, scrabbled eggs, toast, pancakes. Friendly staff - they run their own local tour agency, which we used for our three trips, all picking up from the hotel. Hotel well situated for centre of town, a few 100m away.

I liked the room however the walls need to be cleaned. Watch out for the kitchen lady. She will not allow you to pack your own breakfast to go. Everything must be eaten in front of her in the dining room. Many tours start early so it would be nice of them to allow breakfast to go. Other places will pack it for you.
