The room was excellent a few cobwebs around windows but generally very clean and comfortable. We went in late September so not able to use the outdoor facilities but will be back in warmer times

Molto bella atmosfera. Camera molto grande e pulita. Mulino bellissimo. Vasca idromassaggio e spa non si capisce se è inclusa o meno. Ristorante molto caro ma i prezzi sono scritti sul menu e comunque molto buono. Grande parcheggio. Consigliato.

The property is very nice. It is a very old hotel and that has its drawbacks. Our room was probably the nicest in the hotel, overlooking the river and a small balcony. Bed was good, comfortable. The parking lot was a bit far so had to lug the bags a distance. No elevator so my wife and I had to carry all our belongings up two flights of stairs (we are both in our 70s but fortunately I am in very good shape). There was minimal cleaning of room in our two night stay. Used towels were left on the floor but they were just put back on towel rack. Overall the hotel is very nice and the staff friendly. I would recommend it highly and don’t consider the distance to the car and no elevator as a detriment. The building is old (but is modernized) and parking space in the hotel compound is scarce

Check in chap not over helpful, knew we were English but insisted on speaking French on every occasion we saw him. The room we were given was on 3rd floor. No lift. My husband has major back problems and I could not carry heavy cases up stairs. I returned to reception and was offered 2nd floor instead! I told him I could not carry the cases up stairs! He did not offer to carry them, but instead gave us a ground floor room which overlooked the mill and was lovely. Although no bath towels. This was corrected when our room was cleaned next day. Food and rest of staff were lovely and could not do more for us, including speaking English. Resident cat too

We didn’t receive room upgrade because we booked best room by the river. Building is historic and beautiful, new bathroom but ancient building - close to Giverny with many beautiful drives, beautiful propert - loved sauna and hot tube with shower facilities- hosts were very nice

Simplement manque de signalisation pour le parking et surtout le soir où se trouve l’accueil de l’hôtel. J’ai dû téléphoner. Il n’y a rien à indiqué. Par contre la personne qui m’a reçu et m’a servi au restaurant et d’une amabilité exceptionnelle, très aimable courtois et de l’humour. Il se reconnaîtra il a une moustache. Bravo

Nous avons séjourné une nuit au Moulin de Fourges. Une expérience au top qui donnent envie de revenir ! Les chambres sont charmantes, décorées avec goût et confortables. La literie de qualité. Le petit déjeuner est comme il faut. Nous avons dîné au restaurant à 2. Tout était excellent et le service aux petits soins. Nous avons pu également utiliser les vélos pour une balade champêtre et nous avons terminé notre week-end par un panier pique nique préparé avec soin par le restaurant du moulin. Le personnel a été d'une gentillesse rare tout au long du séjour. Merci encore ! Et à bientôt !

Our suite was very comfortable & spacious with lovely river view . Bathroom Big & fresh . Just could use a hook on the back of door for clothes and a magnifying mirror would be a big help . Thanks for a wonderful stay and super friendly service .

Pour une nuit cette chambre était superbe, très spacieuse. La déco et la salle de bain était parfaite. Seuls bémols, la propreté de la chambre et la lumière de l'entrée qui ne fonctionnait pas. This is a serene property with a picturesque view of the river. The room was extremely warm and the only way to cool it was by opening the windows. Two problems with that option: the River water over the dam is extremely loud and the bugs come in at night. We were impressed with their restaurant quality, but disappointed with their reluctance to serve us due to language changes. Although, I was using Google translate and 1 have mediocre French skills it was obviously, they hesitate to serve us.

French rustic charm with up-to-date amenities and a restaurant that serves excellent French dishes. What's not to like? The setting, the friendly staff, the comfort---all at a reasonable rate. Our room was huge with even an ante chamber with a second fireplace, where we enjoyed the complimentary bottle of prosecco. And just 15 minutes from Giverny and Monet's Home and incredible gardens. A must stay if in this area overnight!!!!

Beautiful hotel on the side of the river, lovely garden, outdoor sitting area. We stayed in a suite in the old mill building, it was lovely & spacious, very comfy bed. Perfect location for visiting Monet’s Garden and other quaint villages around. Highly recommend.

Pour une nuit cette chambre était superbe, très spacieuse. La déco et la salle de bain était parfaite. Seuls bémols, la propreté de la chambre et la lumière de l'entrée qui ne fonctionnait pas. This is a serene property with a picturesque view of the river. The room was extremely warm and the only way to cool it was by opening the windows. Two problems with that option: the River water over the dam is extremely loud and the bugs come in at night. We were impressed with their restaurant quality, but disappointed with their reluctance to serve us due to language changes. Although, I was using Google translate and 1 have mediocre French skills it was obviously, they hesitate to serve us.

Check in chap not over helpful, knew we were English but insisted on speaking French on every occasion we saw him. The room we were given was on 3rd floor. No lift. My husband has major back problems and I could not carry heavy cases up stairs. I returned to reception and was offered 2nd floor instead! I told him I could not carry the cases up stairs! He did not offer to carry them, but instead gave us a ground floor room which overlooked the mill and was lovely. Although no bath towels. This was corrected when our room was cleaned next day. Food and rest of staff were lovely and could not do more for us, including speaking English. Resident cat too

We had a lovely stay. We had booked at the restaurant which was closed. We were able to eat but there was no choice. It would have been nice if we had been informed when we booked for dinner - which we had done.

Simplement manque de signalisation pour le parking et surtout le soir où se trouve l’accueil de l’hôtel. J’ai dû téléphoner. Il n’y a rien à indiqué. Par contre la personne qui m’a reçu et m’a servi au restaurant et d’une amabilité exceptionnelle, très aimable courtois et de l’humour. Il se reconnaîtra il a une moustache. Bravo

This property is 25 minutes from Monet’s Garden and also from the Vernon train station. A taxi ride out is about €35 Euro, and the closest restaurants other than the one on the property are not within walking distance. You need a car if unwilling to deal with this. The staff is wonderful and when they understood that I was on foot they assisted me with taxi arrangements. The bedding was the most comfortable I’ve had in a hotel stay this year and the bathroom was spacious and well appointed. I would recommend the restaurant with 4 stars. Simple, elegant fare well prepared, fresh local ingredients and excellent flavors. I will stay here again, and spend more than one day, but I think I’ll rent a car.

French rustic charm with up-to-date amenities and a restaurant that serves excellent French dishes. What's not to like? The setting, the friendly staff, the comfort---all at a reasonable rate. Our room was huge with even an ante chamber with a second fireplace, where we enjoyed the complimentary bottle of prosecco. And just 15 minutes from Giverny and Monet's Home and incredible gardens. A must stay if in this area overnight!!!!

Beautiful hotel on the side of the river, lovely garden, outdoor sitting area. We stayed in a suite in the old mill building, it was lovely & spacious, very comfy bed. Perfect location for visiting Monet’s Garden and other quaint villages around. Highly recommend.

Cadre très agréable. Chambre bien rénové. Jacuzzi agréable et très jolie deco confortable et moderne. La chambre que nous avions n’avait pas de fenêtre côté eau. La jolie vue donnait sur l’entrée du bâtiment et donc nous forçait à fermer les rideaux. Le dîner était une bonne expérience. Le service était très chaleureux et agréable. Le petit déjeuner décevant.

The property is beautiful, the staff are super helpful, and the rooms very comfortable. Set in the Normandy countryside this was a wonderful, relaxing counterbalance following several hectic days at Disneyland Paris. The room we had was a suite with two rooms and a separate toilet. One room had a queen sized bed, a sink and a round tub. The other room had fold out double sofa bed, a sink, and shower. Both rooms had air conditioning which was greatly appreciated given the heat wave that occurred during our stay. The included breakfast buffet offered a variety of delicious fresh breads, muffins, and other baked items, plus fruit, yogurt, cereal, and hard-boiled eggs. There was fresh juice, milk, a pot of American coffee and the staff offered fresh French coffee upon request. We didn’t have dinner at the restaurant but another guest I spoke to at breakfast said it was fantastic. We look forward to returning again in the future.

Very nice room overlooking the beautiful garden. Although it was a very hot night, with the windows open all around I got a cooling breeze from the garden. The area was quiet. Easy walking distance to cafes, shops, restaurants and the market. Secure parking.
