They no longer have a restaurant at the hotel nor do they offer dining options such as room service which they advertise. For a 4 star I thought these features were required however you are in Bangkok and dining options are abundant.

Hotel was nice enough, concierge was amazing! Wasnt too far from everything. Really disappointed with the pool area though. Lots of construction work going on so full of noise, shade and work men. Also states it has a bar and it doesn't.

Lovely stay at this charming hotel in Bangkok! Staff were so friendly and helpful, pool was great after long hot days and it’s in a very good location on the Sukhumvit road. Lots of bars, restaurants and shops easily walkable and it’s just off the road so it’s quiet. Metro and overground train stations also very nearby.

The hotel itself was ok. The price was right and it was clean. The website said there were restaurants and a bar, there was not. There was no place on site to eat or have a drink. The location was great. Walkable to a lot of fun places in Bangkok. If you want a nice clean room and dont mind walking a little, it’s perfect.

Hotel Mermaid is clean comfortable with a spacious room. The staff are helpful and friendly. The only issue (if you can call it one) is you have to go to hotel next door for breakfast, the breakfast is excellent with wide range of choices. This is my third visit now. A recommendation in its self.

I really don’t like giving poor reviews but this hotel is not what the photos or description states. It was very run down in the communal areas, there was no bar or restaurant, the areas were there but not been used in years, we had to go to a neighbouring hotel for breakfast. Saying all this the room was clean and spacious and the doorman was very polite.

The hotel is peaceful and well run,reception and housekeeping were excellent.The hotel is perfectly situated many bars and restaurants are just a few minutes walk away yet the hotel offers an enclave of quiet away from the busy nightlife.Great swimming pool too.I will return.

Light switches, door knobs not clean. Dirty finger prints around the switches. Just creepy! Staff were at a a party, or something in the evening. Drunk in the lobby. Not polite when I'd asked about pricing for my stay! Looked good from far, but far from good! I won't be back!

Hotel was good , bit dated but room was a very good size , I had the corner balcony room , bed was very soft , bathroom was huge big rainfall shower and a bath. TV channels was very limited but ubdint go to Bangkok to stay in the room hahaha. My only gripe and it's a small one is the cups in the room for tea and coffee were tiny , get bigger cups or mugs mermaid please. All the staff were excellent tho, great stay.

Den eneste grund til at denne anmeldelse kommer op på tre stjerner, er personalet. De er søde og hjælpsomme, præcis som jeg har oplevet mange gange før på hotellet. Værelset derimod var slidt - meget slidt. Et aircon som larmede, maling skaller af flere steder. møbler slidte, dog stadig en god seng.

The people at the front desk were great. Very helpful and friendly. The room was always cleaned and the room attendants were great as well. The best part of staying at the Hotel Mermaid is OM, the doorman. He is very friendly and attentive to my needs. Hotel Mermaid is my go to hotel in Bangkok because of the Staff, location and OM. See you in February.

Hotel Mermaid Bangkok is a rip-off. They scammed me out of 4,000 baht for a single bedsheet, two towels, and a blanket cover over a blood stain that could easily be washed. Staff are rude, unhelpful, and take 45+ minutes just to bring water to the room. Service is terrible. I’ve stayed here twice before, but never again. This place survives by overcharging and mistreating guests. Stay far away.

Amazing staff, clean and comfortable rooms! From check in to check out, our stay was fantastic. Everyone is so kind, especially front door man. I had an issue with a noise outside my room from a pump and it couldn’t be fixed for a few days so they offered to change my room. They truly go above and beyond for their guests. Very walkable to lots of restaurants and bars, but on a side street so it is still fairly quiet. 10/10 would definitely stay again!

Mermaid hotel is my new regular hotel in Bangkok. The hotel is conveniently situated between BTS stations Asok and Phrom Phong, and close to Sukhumvit MRT. New Emsphere is very close, snz there's lots of restaurants and shopping malls in both directions. The hotel has comfortable large rooms with very soft and nice bed, good pressure in the shower and a chair to relax in. It's not fancy but comfortable. Staff is very nice and helpful. I would strongly recommend a trip to Benchakitti Park if you have time. Food court at Terminal 21 is exceptionally cheap, but bit chaotic, but an experience. Transport is easy with BTS and MRT. It's a big plus that the MRT now takes creditcard so you just need to tap. Unfortunately the train from the airport and BTS still only take cash. I had good stay and will stay again

アソークとプロンポンの中間で便利な立地。なのに（私は音で目覚めることが多いのですが）車やBTS、プールの向かいの高層ビル工事の音などさほど気になりませんでした。フロントの職員はタイのあのフレンドリーさを求めなければ普通。エレベータはルームキーで呼びますが、正面と左手のどちらかが日によってランダムで動いており、やってみないと分かりません。他の皆さんが仰る通り、タオルがみな古びていました。ソープ類のポンプ部分だけを替えたのか管が長すぎて底に閊えて折れ曲がり出てません。メンテナンスの苦手なタイらしい感じです。それらを理解できればとてもよいホテルです。　コンビニはスクンビット通りを渡ると往復で信号を6回待つので、通りに出て左に2-3ブロック歩いたビルの半地下にあるセブンの方が便利でした。再度使いたいと思うホテルです。

J’ai passé 3 nuits dans cette établissement et j’y retournerai sûrement pour un prochain séjour à Bangkok. Il est au bord de Sukhumvit soi 29 à 5mn de emsphere le nouveau Centre commercial au food court impresionante. La station BTS asok est à 7 mn. C’est des trois établissements de Bkk que j’ai fait mon préféré. La chambre est spacieuse (sans balcon) la literie super confortable. Très belle salle de bains grande douche. J’ai payé 98€ pour trois nuits c’est un excellent rapport qualité/prix (le meilleur)

Soi Sukhamvit 26 is a small street off the main drag, but the hotel is not far down the street. You can get off the MRT/BTS at Asok station and walk to the hotel without any difficulty at all (and I'm 70 years old!) There is construction on a building at the entrance to the street, but there was no noise inside the hotel and it was very peaceful.

スクンビット29に所在するこのホテルは交通の利便性がいい為に過去に何度も利用していますが、コロナ以降、何とも寂れた感じになりました。7月に利用した際はレストランも開いておらず朝食も取れませんでした。11月の今回の利用の際はレストランは再開し朝食も取れる状態になっていましたが、品数も殆どなくとても利用する気になりません。従業員のホスピタリテイも下がっていて、以前と比べると雲泥の差です。室内の設備は十分で清潔感もアルホテルですし、こじんまりとした利用しやすいホテルですので、頑張って元気を出して欲しいものです。

Ingen aktiv restaurant i hotellet og dermed Ingen morgenmad på stedet. Skulle over på nabo hotellet for dette. Rekreativt bar område var lukket. Dvs kun værelse som også var noget gammelt slidt bras. Absolut ikke pengene værd. Meget dyrt i forhold til standarden.
