老舗旅館だけに昭和感を多く残している。ただ平成を超えて令和になった今ではノスタルジーを楽しむ方以外には少し不便に感じた。ロビーの窓清掃や後付けのスプリンクラーのパイプなど現代の4つ星5つ星のホテル　旅館のレベルには達していない。夕飯の給仕速度が異常に早くまるで追い立てられているようなスピードで食すことになった。味が良かっただけに残念である。

Wonderful ryokan experience! The room and building were great; the staff polite, helpful, and cheerful. The full-course dinners were spectacular. The bath houses were the best part- incredibly spacious, with soaps provided.

このホテルのことはよく耳にしていましたので、期待しすぎたのかと思いますが、一番残念だったのはビューが悪いという事。お部屋の窓からは塀しか見えませんでした。自然からの癒しを求めるのならば、お勧めできません。

露天風呂付き茶寮室に泊りました。スタッフさんのサービス、お部屋、温泉、食事、全てにおいて本当に良かったです。お部屋はリフォーム仕立て？で、井草の匂いがしてなお良かったです。また次も泊まりたいと思います。

宿泊後に宿から封筒が届きました。既に料金支払い済みのはずが、宿の手違いか分かりませんが、追加料金の請求が来ました。そのあたりの謝罪は無く、請求が来たのは失礼と存じます。よって、誰にも勧めない最低評価とさせて頂きます。改善を要求致します。

笑顔いっぱいのスタッフの皆さんでした。夕食の部屋担当の方は、いつも笑顔で一品毎に季節や地元のお話も交えながら丁寧に説明してくださり、山形の料理を美味しくいただきました。どれもおいしかったですが、新米は特においしかったです。もっと早く知ってたら、シャンプーバイキングやってみたかった…

老舗旅館だけに昭和感を多く残している。ただ平成を超えて令和になった今ではノスタルジーを楽しむ方以外には少し不便に感じた。ロビーの窓清掃や後付けのスプリンクラーのパイプなど現代の4つ星5つ星のホテル　旅館のレベルには達していない。夕飯の給仕速度が異常に早くまるで追い立てられているようなスピードで食すことになった。味が良かっただけに残念である。

去年に引き続き、計四回目の利用となります。今年の夕食は個室ではなく宴会場で他の方たちと一緒で頂く形でした。しかし、アルコール類がセルフとはいえ飲み放題となり、お酒が好きな方でしたらこちらの方が良いかもしれません。今年もゆっくりさせていただきました。

Wonderful ryokan experience! The room and building were great; the staff polite, helpful, and cheerful. The full-course dinners were spectacular. The bath houses were the best part- incredibly spacious, with soaps provided.

Excellent facility and service. It is an older facility, though still clean and well maintained. Dining halls are huge and there are bar, gift shops and a pottery workshop to keep you occupied. The onsen isn't too fancy, but it is expected at this price. The dinner was much better than I had expected, huge variety and great quality. Comparable to US$200+ per person resorts. Staff was friendly and surprisingly fluent in English (even compared to Tokyo) and genuinely wanted to help you out - they drove me to the station for free when I asked them to call a taxi.

The service was amazing. The food at the hotel was amazing, especially the dinner. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had a private onsen in our room which was really a bonus. The public onsens were also very clean and well maintained. The 8F one had great views. The rooms were very spacious. Amenities were great. We loved everything about this hotel and would definitely come back
