Chris made us feel very at home. Lovely big room and en-suite. The bar was cosy and a good selection of drinks. We had a good meal in the restaurant and breakfast was plentiful.

Rooms are lovely and beds are super comfy. Nice pub with friendly locals and food is really lovely. Only issue is check in is at 4:30, but other than that this is a fab place to stay. They've a lovely beer garden out back where you can relax until check in too

Stayed at the White Swan several times before and I always try to book in when in the area. It's a very homely little hotel, the staff are lovely and the cooked breakfast is an excellent way to get your day started. There's a country pub as well, which is great for a few drinks in the evening.

A very pleasant one night stay on the way back to Aberdeenshire. Room was lovely and warm on arrival, was clean and well equipped with the staff very friendly. The evening meal was tasty and well priced - can recommend the chicken and brie burger, whilst the cooked breakfast was lovely and worth the wait. Thanks for a great stay - would return without hesitation. (And next time it won't be a 'dry-January'!)

Very spacious room with lovely bathroom. Clean, fan provided for warm weather and lovely tea o & biscuits set up. Breakfast provided was lovely and we went for tea on the pub the night before. Highly recommend the fish & chips and jam & coconut sponge with ice cream! Great stay, really enjoyed. Thankyou to Georgia who was so lovely and kind.

Lovely room, clean with loads of coffee / tea milk in room. Bed comfy. Only suggestion would be a bit of WD40 on bathroom door hinges, it’s a bit squeaky in the quiet night. Booked for dinner - it was great too. massive fish. I know they said jumbo, however it filled the plate. Would definitely return :)

Stayed here a couple of nights to explore some of the north east. Gorgeous little village offering a really good base for doing this. Premises were spotless and the staff were so nice. The food was pretty amazing too and I'm a bit of a fusspot where steak pie is concerned. We wouldn't hesitate in booking the same place in the future...

Amazing!! Stayed one night - arrived around 5pm and had dinner in the restaurant which was lovely, food was spot on. Room was large and clean and the bed, slept like a baby. Breakfast was also spot on, tasted like local good products too. I would definitely stay again.

Really friendly and helpful. Good food. Comfortable bed. Tea/coffee tray hadn't been cleaned, which I passed back to the hotel. Bins don't need replaced every day.

We had a excellent stay at the white swan. It was warm and very friendly. All the staff were so nice and very helpful. Jane at breakfast time was a star, breakfast was the best. Evening meals were yummy, all obviously homemade. Best lasagne. Perfect place to take the dog, rooms big enough for our retriever. Lovely walk just round the corner. Good pub, very friendly.

Was looking for a hotel near Lindisfarne. This one was well reviewed and was close enough for us. We were called before travelling that the chef was ill but given alternatives for eating in the evening. This wasn't a problem as we had only booked breakfast. The room was clean comfortable and cosy with a large clean bathroom. Peaceful nights sleep. Breakfast was superb and extremely filling. Staff were all polite and helpful. All in all lovely hotel in a lovely village. Would go back again.

Lowick is a lovely peaceful village with 2 good pubs/hotels and excellently placed for touring coast and country. The breakfast and dinner were good and staff were friendly throughout. Our room was comfortable.

A very pleasant one night stay on the way back to Aberdeenshire. Room was lovely and warm on arrival, was clean and well equipped with the staff very friendly. The evening meal was tasty and well priced - can recommend the chicken and brie burger, whilst the cooked breakfast was lovely and worth the wait. Thanks for a great stay - would return without hesitation. (And next time it won't be a 'dry-January'!)

Chris made us feel very at home. Lovely big room and en-suite. The bar was cosy and a good selection of drinks. We had a good meal in the restaurant and breakfast was plentiful.

The one night stay in quiet Lowick was excellent. No problems at all. Friendly staff (Brenda) and lovely pub meal downstairs while the room was most comfortable. Only issue was the breakfast. I’ve had better.

Great place to stay. Lovely room,good location to visit the sights of Northumberland and the borders. Great breakfast choice and quality. Nice atmosphere and locals in the bar with fair pricing too. The staff are excellent and really helpful and obliging.

Amazing!! Stayed one night - arrived around 5pm and had dinner in the restaurant which was lovely, food was spot on. Room was large and clean and the bed, slept like a baby. Breakfast was also spot on, tasted like local good products too. I would definitely stay again.
