Quality Inn Mauston I-90

Quick, unplanned stay. Room was comfortable and priced right. We got in late and left early, but the indoor pool area looked really nice and inviting, would come back for that! Breakfast was good, staff was friendly.

We stay here frequently. we like the accessible room and the pool and hot tub. It is always clean and well stocked. The breakfast is better than most with a lot of selections.

I had stayed here several months ago and went back because it is clean, convenient and has a good breakfast. The pool area was "under construction" both times with no work evident. This time, the parking lot was noisy really late outside our window 2 nites in a row, probably due to the rowdy bar on site. I will probably stay there again.

Nicely kept hotel with great nice breakfast. We stay here yearly for a get away and always bragged about their nice warm pool. However the pool was not heated and ice cold. Very disappointed. Next year we will check ahead or go somewhere else. Overall I don’t like quality Inns as they are not pet friendly with majority charging minimum $25 per dog per night. This place is a very nice stay minus the pool. On a side note also a guy was here to check on the pool during our stay. He said there was zero chlorine in the sauna and the pool heater was set on bypass so it was set not to heat. .

Room was terribly small, especially the bathroom. No respect for pool hours, pool is closed at 11 and people were so loud until 1:30 am

The room was excellent. Breakfast was excellent as well, with waffles, scrambled eggs, and sausage. Pet friendly. The hotel facilities were less than ideal, however. We were placed on the second floor and there was no elevator. I read the property details carefully, but I don’t recall an alert to let us know about the elevator. We booked the room three months in advance, and requested a 1st floor room. So we weren’t put on the 2nd floor because we were late arrivals. My husband and I are older folks, so carrying our luggage and provisions for the dogs up the stairs was a real hardship.

The staff were friendly and efficient. The breakfast was tasty. Though we didn't use the pool we observed there are accommodations for disabled individuals to be safely lowered into the pool.

The pool wasn't open, the carpet at the room was dutty, a lot dust, fridge was cooling well, smells, the pictures are really all, they're not same of the room they give you.

There was no conditioner in the shower bottles, and a small amount of shampoo. Shower was dirty and very small. Room smelled like mildew and was ok for one night, but we will not return to this location. Shirtless people came to breakfast?...not sanitary. Sign saying shoes to be worn into area but nothing about shirts? Broken dispensers replaced with jug of juice...dispointing all around. Will not return to this location.

Excellent price, clean and quiet.

The room smelled musty. Obviously poolside room probably gets wet people coming in and out, but there should be something to remedy this. We have stayed at hotels in poolside rooms that didn't smell musty. The door security latch was damaged. Looks like someone at some time probably compromised the latch - i.e.:Tried to gain access to the room when someone inside didn't want them there. Probably would be a good idea to FIX IT! In the condition that it is in, it leads guests to feel uncomfortable about the security of their room, or the hotel in general..

It was very clean and staff were very helpful.

Room was dirty and smelled. Drain clogged in tub. Dusty. Coffee maker not cleaned. Litter around outside of building.

Found a bunch of hair in the bathtub and when I went to the hot tub and pool area some couple were all over each other in the hot tub with loud music blasting.

Phone didn’t work at all, air conditioning didn’t work properly. Room felt humid at all times. Found a dirty washcloth in the bathroom. Pool area had garbage on deck and gum at the bottom of the pool.

Dirty place…found a used Frosty cup inside the bedsheets of a made up bed…would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone…

We checked in and were given two rooms. When we walked into the rooms the smell of pet urine was overwhelming as well as the smell of dampness. We then went to the desk to get two more rooms and after pressing the woman a bit she said I guess I can give you these two which we don’t usually get complaints about. Hmmmm that was an odd comment. We tried those two and immediately one of my friends started to have breathing problems and another had her eyes water excessively. At that point we couldn’t stay so we left.

Veryv clean, well maintained property.

Everything was great, wifi could've been faster and better tv. As long as you stay there garbage not taken out of your room. Not a big deal.

Room was clean, but with 2 Q beds there was hardly room to walk. The back entrance to get to our room is not very appealing! Doubt the fire door meets code. My wife complained about the lumpy bed. Excellent breakfast!!! Nice pool area, but we did not use it.

Beds were good and comfortable. Poolside room was not ideal. There was a gap between the door frame and the door you could see through. Entry door to the pool area was propped open with a rock at 1030 at night upon return from being on the lake. Full coffee cup sitting on stairway for 2 days. Would stay elsewhere next time.

A lamp and the main light didn’t work in our room. The floors are really squeaky, the shower head was cracked and dirty and sprayed water up onto the wall. The only way to access our room/hallway was by going through the pool room or outdoors. No way from the lobby.

The room was clean and updated. Very good breakfast. We were on 2nd floor, but no elevators. Our room was on back of hotel, so we entered through the back. The carpet was worn and dirty there. In addition, the fire doors did close tight.

Mattress on bed was very firm. Not our favorite

So much nicer than I had ever expected. Seems to have been rehabbed recently. Nice large room. Clean windows. Quick check. Large TV. A RECLINER CHAIR!!!-fabulous. BAD - the bathtubis VERY uninviting.

I had a problem but they corrected right away. I had to give 2 thumbs up

Booked a non smoking room with a queen bed was give a room. Was given a smoking room with a full bed. Room smelled so bad of stale smoke it about made me sick. Went to the front desk and the offered me room spray. I said no I wanted a new room. Front desk girl said the hotel was fully booked and couldn’t offer me a new room. Asked to speak to the manager and was then given a new room. This room was better as it was non smoking but still was subpar and had an odd smell to it. Will not stay and refer anyone I know to this hotel.

Very clean, had trouble with tiolet flushing and i called and lady that checked me in came to room with a plunger and pludged til it finally cleared

The only thing that we liked is that the parking was close. The things that we didn't like was the smell in the room we have a dog and they gave use a pet friendly room witch is what we asked for know I don't mind smelling my dog because he's clean but I don't like smelling everyone's else's dog that stayed in that room. Also the door didn't work properly it was very hard to get open because it was damaged and sticking and the staff didn't seem to care you also had to make sure the door closed because it didn't close by itself you had to pull shut behind you. We were very unhappy with the accomodations

Third time I have stayed here. Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable and the breakfast is better than most. The only negative is something the motel can't control. It is a little hard getting in to the front door across a parking lot that is shared with a gas station, restaurant and another motel.

There for a baseball tournament. It was very close to where the tournament was being held.

The people are so friendly. Honestly, it is right by the main highway but you really don't hear the traffic so don't let that effect your mind on staying here. There is a cute little bar and the people are so friendly as well as the front desk staff. The room is extremely clean as well. Great place to stay for business! Would definitely recommend as this is my second business trip here!

The bed was comfortable and the linen/towels were soft. The entrance was inviting and clean. Staff was friendly and accommodating. There is a great bar located in this hotel. The bartender was friendly with great service. The breakfast was hearty with buiscuits and gravy, eggs, sausage, make your own waffles and more.The are some issues that could be adressed. We where on a Harley trip and unfortunately one of our guys couldn't make it so we had an extra room that was not refundable. Im glad we did because our shower in our room was made for someone under 3 feet, because it was hung incorrectly. The bottoms of the tubs where also not something I would sit on because they where chipped throughout. I showered in the spare room where the shower was hung properly, unfortunately the bathtub backed up while showering. The hotel did correct this but kind of gross. Also the toliet in this room was leaking and was not fixed properly during the stay. When I walked around the floor my feet where black. Carpets are in desperate need of deep cleaning. Parking lot was in good shape but litter all over in the back. Our room was next to the front desk. There where times that an attendent was not there (not aproblem), but a bell was. That was rang over and over. Please put the bell away and leave the phone number only. Its frustrating as a guest when someone is ringing the bell 10 times. Overall those are things that can be corrected. Overall a great stay for your buck!

One of the nicest hotels we have stayed in for two weeks. Clean, comfortable, friendly and best breakfast yet. Great local info board for shopping and dining, etc.

This is a vintage property that has been remodeled into excellent condition. Rooms are tight, but have comfortable mattresses, spotless clean, small bar on premises, nice pool area. Hot breakfast was good. A great value.
