This hotel on the waterfront was absolutely lovely. The staff was super friendly and attentive, and the accommodations were the best one could ask for. I rarely go into a hotel pool or hot tub because they are often not well maintained, but this was literally the best pool and hot tub you will find in any hotel. The breakfasts were delicious and the service was second to none all around.

Clean and updated rooms and beautiful waterfront view with a gorgeous boardwalk right on the beach. The customer service was excellent and they provided cookies, coffee, tea and hot cocoa in the lobby. The breakfast was great quality as well! This was also one of the only hotels I've been to where you can't smell the nauseating chlorine from the pool. I think they use a nice alternative to chlorine in the pool and hot tub, one which doesn't dry out skin, hair or affect asthma and burn eyes. Overall I would absolutely stay here again next time I'm in Marquette.

We liked the check in- very nice staff! The main level- dining/breakfast area is beautiful. Our room was just okay but not as nice as I’d hoped for. We did not like the pool area- was more dirty/dingy, and parents were all lined up drinking/partying and letting their kids run wild around the pool and hot tub.

It's a great location in downtown Marquette but right on the water. Staff was friendly and our room was very nice. They have a lovely outdoor patio overlooking the water. Very nice!

We had a wonderful stay at the Hampton Inn. The hotel was extremely clean, very quiet, and excellent location. Right on the water and within walking distance to downtown Marquette. Breakfast was very good and our kids loved the pool. All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend staying here.

Our room was nice, quiet, and comfortable. We had a nice view of Lake Superior and a very short drive (1-2 minutes) for downtown parking along the street. The downtown Marquette are is cute with alot of shops, dining, and a couple of one of a kind cafés. The town feels safe with people walking up and down and shopping on the streets. E.H. Beautiful view of Lake Superior at the back of the property. Be sure your room faces the lake and not the parking lot though, or you will be disappointed in the view. The desk attendant very kindly changed our room from the parking lot to the lake.

The hotel was beautiful and the people working there was great too. Our hotel room was extremely cold and we had to open the door to the pool area just to warm it up. The food was excellent for breakfast, view was excellent and we liked the place.

Blown away by the view, when we arrived and it only got better with the sunrise! Paid a little extra to have a view of the lake, but it was all worth it! We had a nice visit and plan to come back to spend more time in Marquette at the Hampton In!

We asked to cancel our trip because we got Covid last minute. They declined giving a refund and said we can still check in if we were wearing a mask. I’d recommend getting insurance for your booking with this place and consider wearing a mask even if you aren’t sick given their admission policy.

I didn’t have hot water the most important day of testing I was there. I had to take an ice cold shower. I turned in the complaint. No one contacted me. It was repaired but NOBODY even contacted me. Upon checking out I mentioned it and they were like oh yes I see it was repaired but didn’t anyone contact you. I said no and then said oh sorry

I love this hotel - this was our second stay and I went back because we liked it so much the first time. The view of Lake Superior is terrific, downtown Marquette is a five-minute walk away, and the rooms are comfortable and clean. I highly recommend it for anyone wanting to stay in Marquette.

It was a very friendly and comfortable stay beginning with the check-in to check-out. Breakfast offerings were one of the best we've encountered and the breakfast staff were outstanding. We had a view of the beach and loved it.

There was a dog in the lobby which was wonderful. Cat at the front desk was bubbly and welcoming. Beds were comfortable and breakfast was solid. Prime location. Orange water in the lobby tasted weird but I think that's a personal preference.

Was raining when we arrived in the evening so the view of the lake really wasn’t available, during the summer it would be an amazing view. Woke up the next morning to a blizzard!!! Although the weather was less than desirable the crew was on top of removing snow from the parking lot!! The breakfast was amazing, they have a very large variety of different foods depending on your preference.
